Thanks kbayne. I've been feeling great with the higher calorie/carb intake and going heavier with a few exercises. It's already time to start cutting again though :(. Nice, I'll be sure to check it out.

Thanks dude. Haha yup, there's no way that I could hold on to the end of the barbell with that much weight. I usually add straps when I get up to 100lbs.

Wheew. I was gonna say. Its a lot tougher than it looks! I usually hit the straps after 75. I do these every single back day now. Definitely a great variation. Also been on those kayak rows as well!

Meadows himself uses straps (or a handle attachment) as well. Yeah, its a awesome exercise. I'll usually have them or one-arm bb rows in my routine each back session. Kayak rows are another great one for pre-exhaustion or as a finisher.

I hope so lol. The time to cut came pretty fast. I've started some diet changes and am getting some solid stacks lined up.

I can't wait to run that PES cutting stack after my athletix log. You picked that up as well, correct?

Yeah, A-T2 (and EPro) will be a part of my final 8 weeks of prep and Shift will be in the last 4.

Lol thanks wasme. There aren't any major diet changes at the moment. I dropped calories (-200) and the intra-workout carbs (as of yesterday), but am still consuming plenty of both.
 
I don't have much time this morning, but am about to hit the gym for a quick arm (and possibly a little back) session. I'll get my last 2 workouts posted by tonight.

I can't wait to get to the end of the day, as I'll have the next 4 days off from work. This week has been rough and I could definitely use the free time. :thumbsup:

I love the correlation with time off and training intensity. It so much better when you have days off to really get ready for a session and give it 120%!
 
Four days off sounds great (I get three this weekend - but have 2 weeks off coming up!).

I am sure if I go back and check dates etc, I could figure it out myself - but how many days do you put in before a rest day?

I always give it 120% ;). Yeah, it's great when you don't have a bunch of additional things going on throughout the day.

Four days off sounds great (I get three this weekend - but have 2 weeks off coming up!).

It changes, but I was taking every 6th day off for the last couple of months. I recently changed it to an "as needed" basis, which has been once a week. I'll probably take tomorrow or Sunday off.

Bought...been waiting to try this just couldn't justify the price. This is a solid deal though.

I wouldn't say to try it now (since you are getting ready for a comp and no need to throw new variables in), but considering your hardcore techniques I think you should look into trying BFR training sometime. I threw in some sets at the end of my workouts this past month due to my injury and the pumps were insane...Seemed like the kind of torture you would like. :)

It's considered a natural anabolic. 804 mentioned some common effects reported by users. What I've enjoyed most is improved gym performance. My mind-muscle connection and mental clarity are on point (especially when combined with stimulants) and I've had consistent strength/endurance improvements. Another thing that I've noticed is that my vascularity seems to become more prominent, independent of my body fat level. The majority of weight that I put on has been lean as well. I'd recommended giving it a try if interested. I really enjoy it and have cycled the product since the beta test.

I'd like to stock up, but have reached my spending limit for the week. Hopefully, I can grab some before the sale ends.

I remember reading Lanye Norton's article on BFR training a while ago and it does seem like the kind of torture I'd enjoy :). I'll definitely give it a try in a few months. Did you use knee wraps to restrict blood flow?

I probably could've used some BFR training today, as I aggravated my sciatica last night while taking my socks off (it's always something random that causes it). I immediately dropped to the floor and experienced intense paresthesia from my neck to my toes for a few hours following. I'd image it was similar to what taking 10g of beta-alanine at once must feel like lol. The good news is that it's not serious and I'm pain free unless sitting a certain way or bending over completely. I actually worked legs this morning without any issues; however, I played it safe by avoiding heavy (and deep) squats and switching up exercises that could potentially aggravate it. It feels like the workout helped loosen things up a bit, but I still won't be doing any deadlift variations this week.


IMHO: It gives stellar vascularity, pumps, and muscle mind connection.

I've had a few pres open for a while which is why I haven't cracked it yet.

for anyone who's tried it, how does AF compare to micro?

I have to agree here. I used it during my pct and vascularity and pumps were solid and endurance went up.

I think you'd enjoy it ace. There isn't a ton of feedback on Jack3d Advanced at this point, but the majority of what I've seen has been very positive. I believe the IC release was only for 1000 tubs and it hasn't been available to the general public very long. I posted my thoughts on it (in this thread), but am guessing that you'd like to hear from others as well. I don't really like to compare products, but the biggest difference for me would be their stim effects. Jack3d AF provides more of a kick (still smooth energy though) and has me sweating up a storm. I'd probably crack open that tub for a couple workouts while the deal is still available. :)

Nice. One cap of the old version gave me a slight boost of energy/focus, which is great considering my stim tolerance. Sounds good man.
