Ok, ad hominems aside, I think some of his points are good especially regarding the OCD nature of dieting within athletics/BB. However, it should be made clear for those seeking to advance into the elite categories of these fields that if you want to push the envelope, there is a case to be made for pushing the protein envelope as well. This is just the very general common denominator amongst the top in their game.
With that said, there are lots of purported case studies of really huge dudes doing it up on small protein, for instance Dorian Yates, who reportedly consumed under 300g back in the day while weighing in around 260lb±30lb.
