Finally got my Shoulder Press workout in today which ends week 5 of my stack and the first week of my improved 5-3-1 routine. But before I went in I weighed in as soon as I woke up. 184.0...no change from last week. I plan on keeping everything the same throughout this next week and if need be, make adjustments then. I guess I could be going through recomp, adding muscle and shedding fat. This stack is definitely made for it.

Lol...not exactly. I knew you'd be the first one to miss me. Sleep deprivation has finally caught up to me. I feel like I'm just going through the motions this week. Basically I hit my squats, SLDLs, and one set of lunges yesterday before walking out of the gym. Today I did bench, inc bench and one set of high rows before doing 20 min cardio. And tomorrow is my deadlift. I don't know how the fuk I'm gonna muster the energy to get through it. I will, but it won't be easy. Once I get past tomorrow I'll have a couple days I can sleep in. I need it sooooooo bad right now. I'm like a fuking zombie at work all day and the look on people faces when they see me and ask what's wrong...I seriously look like I've been up on meth for 3 days. I've still ben doing pretty good with my diet though. Lowered cals a bit to compensate for the lack of work in the gym.

Have to check with the bros when they go missing! Enjoy those days of extra rest. I've been feeling the same way lately. Got some much needed rest today though so I'm feeling a ton better.

Well I ended up getting over 10 hours of sleep last night. Felt like I could've slept 10 more. I do feel a ton better though. Of course I didn't go workout but I'll just go in tomorrow and then hit day 4 on Sunday.

Well I slept in again today so didn't get to the gym before work. Which means I still have to do my Deadlift and Shoulder Press workouts tomorrow. I'll probably just go in tomorrow morning and do both exercises at the 3-3-3+ ranges followed by the secondary exercise for each. Then I'll try to get some cardio in before I start loading up on carbs since tomorrow is also my refeed. That way I'll be ready to get through my 5-3-1 week, hopefully I'll be able to do complete workouts for the whole week.
 
Start of week 7...I should've known I wasn't going to make it in the gym yesterday. But I wasn't going to NOT get my 3's in for Deadlift and shoulder Press, so I did them today. And then I did my 5-3-1 set of Squats because that's what I was supposed to do today.

Actually I felt pretty good today. Felt strong on my core lifts. Just didn't have enough time to get the whole workout in. But funny thing is...I'm really liking what I see in the mirror. Nowhere near what I want to be but I'm seeing some shape take place that I've never had before.
 
Another FUKIN' thing to keep me out of the gym...I've been having some tightness in my left middle finger knuckle for several months. Nothing that caused pain or problems our lack of mobility, just something I'd noticed. A couple times over the last 2 weeks though I'd do something like pull open a car door or similar action and I'd get a shooting pain go through my whole finger, but it would quickly go away and I'd be fine. Except yesterday, it happened 3 times and the pain literally felt like I could pass out. It shot through my hand and up my arm when it happened. It's so bad now even if I just move it the pain is excruciating. It's swollen pretty good too and now the skin is getting weird pale blotchy spots on JUST the finger...WTF? I don't want to go to the dr just to have them tell me to ice it and take NSAIDs, but the way that it came about just doesn't make sense. I didn't actually DO anything to it. Needless to say...I'm pretty pissed off about it. Such a stupid little thing and now I'm out for however long.

Idk man, I'm not a doctor but I'd say some ibuprofen.

not sure about the ice. I've been doing heat only and it seems to heal faster.. Heat = vasodilation= more fresh blood to area = faster healing.


I'd highly suggest you go to a legit chiropractor that uses active release therapy (A.R.T)

Sounds like a tendon or nerve.

But then again, I am not a doctor. This is just from my experience of what's worked for me.
 
If there's that much pain and swelling and staying that way, I'd probably get it checked out. The discoloration doesn't sound too good.

Putting a damper on workouts is a major pain for us meat heads. I hope it doesn't turn out to be too serious bro!

Actually, I think I'll be okay. I've have a lot more mobility in it today. I mean I can't really bend it but yesterday, even if I just THOUGHT about bending it, I'd get shooting pains. Trying to manipulate things using only my thumb and forefinger was impossible, but today I'm actually able to. I can actually bends it to about 45° before it hurts but even then it's not really a shooting pain anymore. I don't know how long it will be before I'm able to grip things with that hand but at least I'll be about to work around out before to long. Btw...I've decided that it's probably tendonitis.

Yeah buddy! I spent the last 2 days opening and closing my hand to keep my finger loose. I helped my dad move a friend yesterday and found that I could put significant stress on it without any pain. And today I hit my workout without any issues. I'm actually pretty shocked at how good my finger feels after the pain I had to endure only a week ago. So here it is:

Getting to my car wasn't too bad...it's driving that sucks. Trying to move my leg from gas to brake usually means I have to start braking a block away! Feels good though.

Personally I'd stay away from clen. If your wanting a stronger fat burning stack I'd say ECA.

Why don't you drop your cals by a 200-300 a day with Alphamine, the new Alpha T2 and the new DCP.

I'm already at 2300-2500 calories a day on w/o days and 1900-2100 on off days. I don't want to adjust my calories lower than that. Maybe more cardio. I'm liking the effects Alphamine is having on my physique along with the rest of the stack. But I'm "supposed" to take 4 weeks off once it's complete. Was thinking a run of clen with antihistamine and taurine for 4 weeks, starting with small doses and stepping up over the course of the first week, would really help to shed the belly fat I'm still carrying.

Sorry, I didn't realise you were so low on non-workout days. Clen seems to be a bit hit and miss with people...why don't you go with Alpha T2, Forskolin and ECA? The belly fat will come off with the alpha T2. I'm finally beginning to show a toned mid section...took ages!!

I've read that ECA gives you a more strung out feeling and you crash afterwards where clen is cleaner and easier to come off if done correctly (and increases protein synthesis). I know it can be dangerous and really mess you up if you're not careful but I'm pretty aware of how something is affecting me and I would only run it for the 4 weeks. But I do want to know what you guys think specifically as to why ECA is better over clen, because even though I've researched a lot, I care what my bros think.

Clen is definitely not clean. Anything with a 36 hour half-life has the potential to cause some problems. Anything thing to consider is sourcing of Clem: we're talking about very tiny amounts of powder that can be easily messed up and inaccurate. It's much easier with EC to get accurately dosed product and it can also be run for much longer than clen.

As always, Rodja, you give great input. I wasn't really referring to clen being clean but rather the feeling. Meaning it doesn't make you all jittery and cracked out. But this is just what I've read. No experience to speak of with ECA or Clen. I'll continue to research both options, though, before making a decision.
 
So today ended my last real w/o of this 8 week cycle utilizing 5-3-1. I still have to deload next week but am going to take the opportunity to ramp up my cardio and finish off the last of this stack. I'm going to skip posting pics until next Sunday and will give a final rundown of the changes I've experienced over the last 2 months.

Really...that's good to know then. I'm pretty stim tolerant so I'm not too worried about it anyway. I've never felt uncomfortable from caffeine and I've done some recreational stims too that never seemed to affect me like it did everyone else. It will probably come down to me trying both and seeing which I prefer.

So I took my 9 and 10 year old daughters to see the girl from Disney's "Good Luck Charlie" sing at a concert we had here in town. It's a week long festival we river rats put on here in Iowa (Yes, Kid Rock was here too). But I found myself alternating between carrying one on my shoulders for a couple songs and then switching to the other for a couple songs. I didn't know it was going to be a ****ing workout! Good stuff though, they had a blast. But I didn't workout this morning because, well, honestly, I passed out before setting my alarm and slept til I had to get up for work. So today I'm eating for an off day and will pick it up again on wednesday. Gonna be out of town tomorrow to take my wife on a shopping trip for her bday, so I won't be able to get in tomorrow either.
