Hit legs this morning. Had to switch things around a little. I swear every time I went to do something someone else was already there! Tomorrow starts the last week of phase 1. Ready for phase 2 and switch things up a little.

-not a real hack squat machine but closest thing we have, and I refuse to use the smith machine for anything leg related now lol

No cardio today. I'm gonna have to figure something out about how to combine cardio and leg day. Maybe do my cardio work first only on leg days?

When you're done with everything else, do 10x10 squats with 60sec rest between sets, then do 100 reps each leg of walking lunges all in one set just resting as needed.

Then just do a 10 minute walk or something

There's your cardio!

warm-up sure, maybe some light liss..nothing else would I advise

yeah, I agree. Need to save all that energy and glycogen for the real work. I usually like to do about 3-4 minutes really light resistance on stationary bike followed by 2 sets of 10 bodyweight squats to loosen up my knees. thats literally it.

the style of leg workout I do I would honestly count as cardio as well as strength training. I get breathing about as heavy by the end as if I'd just ran a good distance

To be 100% honest I don't really feel any different the next day after my carb up. Literally the only difference is I get a bit more vascular. I figured if see a small weight increase or extra stamina in the gym or something.

Haha I figured that was the response I would get. I've never done cardio before lifting just figured I'd throw that out there as a possibility.

Chest/shoulders and cardio today. Busy day today with honey do's all damn day today. Felt awesome in the gym this morning. When I first got there I felt like I had a knot at the base of my neck/traps but it worked itself out early.

Son of a b1tch....I broke. Stopped to get my son ice cream and I had 2 bites. I made it almost 13 days without a single bite of anything that wasn't on my diet plan. Dammit....

Thanks bud I appreciate the kind words. Just sucks. I REALLY wanted to make it all 30 days without cheating at all. I know at the end of the day it's a life style not a diet I just wanted to prove to myself I could do it.

Haha Taco Bell cravings were through the roof TBH all cravings were through the roof yesterday. Surprisingly though 2 bites of a dipped cone ice cream took care of it all lol. Pretty much because I think it made me feel like a complete failure lmao.

See an extra workout will burn those extra 73 calories you ate yesterday and then some. Of course you are disappointed but let's be honest here. You recognized what you were doing and instead of saying screw it I am getting a cone too you stopped at 2 bites and chastised yourself. That is progress and shows a change in mentality. This "blip of indulgence" will invigorate you to make the next 30 days a cheat free 30 days. I am proud for you that you didn't just say screw it once you snapped that you made a poor decision. Many people just say screw it and turn the entire day into a cheat after that. In this case it isn't going to effect your progress so much as your satisfaction with your execution of the 30 days clean eating. So just start over and kill it this time!

Hitting chest twice a week has definitely helped bring it up lately. Going heavy should help Stimul8 some growth too.....

I'm doing one heavy day and one lightish pump day a week. Can notice changes esp on lower outer and inner chest wich is what I was going for. Sorry for hijacking Dan! Blame Kleen :P

That's actually the same way I got my chest to develop. About to start doing it with legs now. They're so far behind.
