haha I'm most definetly not aesthetic...

weights move a lot easier when I can eat 2 bags of sweet potato fries and 2 rotisserie chickens for dinner :(

Did you pick up the EFS Yoke bar?

No. :(

Honestly don't trust people at the gym with my equipment (long story) and a bar is something I can't just toss in the back or my bag easily to only allow access to those I trust. And that ish is expensive. I don't see the need for it in my training ATM but may just buy one down the road in several months once I have saved up some funds for some plans I got. :D

And I want to eat two bags of sweet potato fries. I haven't added weight in a lil bit maybe I'll do just that. :p

I envy all of your youth. :whiner:

Bunch of babies. I'm huge, ripped, handsome, 37 is the new 17, my wife is hot and I just ate a big f'n steak.

What's up now.

Bald as a babies arse since mid 20s. I have a lot of DHT. Lol

I hear you on this. I may start making the trip to Ironsport gym and doing day passes from time to time just to use equipment that doesn't fit in my already stuffed gym bag.

If you open up an amazon credit card they discount your order! Hooray!

I refuse to own a credit card.

Since we're talking books; anyone read the cube for strongman? Thinking bout picking it up, but not sure if it's worth it. Or JM 2.0?

The "hooray" should have been a dead give-a-way I was joking.

I believe Herderdude and NomZ have.

Edit: reading some starting strength now. Pretty good stuff.

What a crap day. Felt like I drug ass all day long. I didn't realize how caffeine defendant I was and I felt it affect my workout. I never fully woke up until the rows. Just a blah feeling. The bruised feeling on my rib is still there so that didnt help my bench out either.. Oh well. Every lift day can't be awesome.....unless its squat day. Supps today were PeakBeta and the usual creatine mono. That helped me get through the workout physically at least.

My heart rate peaked at like 120-130 while lifting and it didnt take long for it to drop below 100. I don't ****ing have tachycardia. Caffeine will be reintroduced back into my life again sometime soon.

At least you fought through it. No coffee- I can't even see. Literally causes pulsating headaches.

That is because the sensitivity to adenosine. After chronic use your body will upregulate adenosine receptors that caffeine has a strong affinity to and once you stop if you do it cold turkey all of the sudden you can't handle it. The same thing happens to me. It is freaking brutal. I do not break often but when I do(rarely) I start with still using small amounts of caffeine(green tea, chocolate, whatever). Seems to help.

Really the only caffeine I use is maybe a monster of FXT in the morning and then a prewo. I know guys drinkin 8 cups of coffee a day. By definition, I don't have tachycardia, and even if I do it's asymptomatic.

My Alphamine came in the mail today. You can count on me using it...up until a couple days from my cardiologist appointment of course :p

Yea I'll bet. Honestly, after you get the cardiologist squared away, I don't see anything wrong with using caffeine long term in moderation. I used to do metal fabrication 60+ hours a week and the old timers would literally drink two pots a day at least. I in no way advocate that, but a healthy guy with 400mgs shouldn't be bad.

It is actually hard to get a solid answer. An interesting link if you or anyone else here is interested: Invalid Link Removed

Very great non-biased site. Best all around site I have every found on supplements in general that isn't a forum.
