Recomp with Epistane / Win50 / Trenazone

Great update, hope that Epi goes good for ya, I've always been interested in running it, just don't like the idea of dry joints, I need surgery on my knee still (which I'm avoiding for as long as possible), can't imagine my knee feeling more dry lol.

Keep me update on dry joints!

I know what you mean JD. I have problems with my knees (Erase dries them right out). So it is definitely a concern and something I will note.

In fact, even though this is an unsponsored log, I know there are a couple of guys who are interested in running Epistane so I will certainly make note of any changes (both positive and negative) as I encounter them..

Well, that is the thing I keep reading, as methyl's go they are mild so can be stacked for 4 weeks, just not at obscene doses.. Still pondering though...

Hmm well ill let you be the guinea pig and if you live and your balls don't fall off or you go postal then ill try it next as I have left over HDrol lol!!!!

Day 9: Legs

Started off with 5km run...

Leg Extensions: This might have been too heavy as my knee started bugging me, but pressed on.
140x10
140x10
140x10

Squats:
210x8
230x8
260x8
270x8

Hack Squats (3 second pause):
210x8
220x8
230x6 - ran out of gas on this one

**Leg Extensions:
90x12x7
+9 partials

Stiff Leg Deadlift: Felt a bit dizzy/nautious on my last set here got to 7 and had to stop.
200x8
200x8
210x8
210x7

**Lying Leg Curls:
55x12x7
+ 6 partials

Trashed legs! But didnt stop there. Put on Sportsdesk and hopped on the treadmill for 30 minutes. 4mph pace, 2.5/5/7 on the incline (1 minute intervals - pyramid style). Trying to strip some fat.

My only complaint so far is I feel like even though I am eating clean (high protein, low carb, moderate fat) I feel 'heavy'... and it is putting me in a frustrated state of mind.

Off to watch some playoff hockey..

Still don't know how you run then lift. I used to run cross country so I know exactly what 5k feels like. I wouldn't be in the mood to lift. Let alone alone lift that much weight. Great Job wasme !

Thanks FU. Lately I have been finding it harder, but I think that is because my motivation isn't there or with the bit of extra weight I feel more sluggish during my runs. The funny thing is, I do not think I could go for a run after lifting... perhaps I should try though, just not on leg day.

I do feel a bit heavy as well right now. Still haven't added cardio not do I want to.

Day 10: CHEST

Feeling a bit drained as I type this up, glad tomorrow is a rest day, although I will try to work some LISS in anyway.

Incline Flys:

50 x 10

**Cable Crossovers (slow negative): Really struggled on the last set but with a couple of pauses was able to get it done.
55 x 7 x 12

Added: 30 minutes on treadmill @ 4pmh inclines - 2.5, 5, 7

All in all a great workout.

Now, time to get some bbq pork chops and a big salad into me, and watch some Bruins domination!

Solid work wasme. Let's see a big win tonight!

Ton of stuff going on here.

Thanks FU. The style that I am using (credit to Breezy) with just putting a plate under the legs of the bench so the decline is slight seems to work great. I can definitely feel it.

Day 11: OFF

I gotta admit, I feel exhausted. Was going to do some LISS this evening, and still might - but at this point I think I am probably going to just relax a bit.

Nothing new to report. So far joints, skin, strength, and energy levels are all normal. I know I just said I am exhausted but that has nothing to do with the stack I don't think. It is more so that the playoffs have me up pretty late every night..lol

Tomorrow is BACK

Rest day is definitely good for the body. Even when you are ON !!!

I also had a tired day today and I think Zi am going to attribute it to M-Sten. Will see how I feel tomorrow.

After 5 days of under 50g of carbs per day, and horrible energy levels yesterday - ended up having a carb load @ dinner and after. Not the best times to do so, but actually feel more alert and energized today. Hopefully that did the trick.

Run, back/traps and then some LISS tonight after work. LISS B's playoff game.

Next week my schedule at work switches to 1030am start instead of 630am - so will be able to get a run/workout in before work most days. Consistently, these are better workouts.

They always recommend low carbs on cycle on everything I read. I want to do it, but can't eat enough protein to get to my calorie target unless I add fat.

Whatever with the B's.

My Flyers will be back next year after we amnesty the nut job goalie. If course we also traded away the possible vezina winner. Maybe our GM is the problem.

Oh yeah, add few hearts for some members of the Flyers and we are set.

I've been carb cycling the past week.. High on Sunday, low Monday, low Tuesday, low wed, medium yesterday. Today will be low along w tomorrow then refuel Sunday to start the week strong on Monday again.
Lots of salad and cans of tuna and grilled chicken and nuts!

For me:

High=over 100g including breads/starches/fruits
Medium=30-60g- minimal starches, mostly dairy carbs
Low= <30g - no starches veg only

It's gonna be hard cutting out Greek yogurt. It so tasty and filling and the protein is great... Just too much sugar even with the unflavored one for me to really put a dent in fat. :( I hate summer

Low carbs when on? I thought the extra carbs would be beneficial to a usually heavier workload?

Who are the Flyers? oh ya they play in October right? ;)

I think the refeed helped but feel bloated today lol, can't win.

Good guideline for the carb intake.. thanks.

I would think you would need extra carbs. Maybe what I read was for cut using PH.

Ouch......can't fight back when my team finished the season like b!tches.

Have a good evening boys.. Morning workout tomorrow (shoulders/light chest)

Wasme in Full Beast mode! Wicked updates brother!

You got that right. Wasme moving some serious weight during back work. Man is focused and determined. Hell of a long session also.

Great workout. Increased weight on most exercises. Used Enhanced preworkout. Usually take my preworkout and then head out the door for a run. That way it is just kicking in when I start lifting. This morning I took it and got side-tracked, so instead of being about 40 minutes before I started lifting, it was closer to an hour. Strangely I felt more focused, and the effects lasted through the entire session.

Disappointing game last night. We'll get them tomorrow.

Off to see Motley Crue tonight.. should be fun.

Oh snap bro wicked beast mode cause I haven't seen anyone that I can recall do chest and shoulders same day! Killed it.

Thanks Pack, as I have said in the past you are one motivational/enthusiastic dude...

Great concert tonight. Shoulders are just killing me though, and chest still hard/pumped 12 hours later... gotta like it!

I mean after all WE. Have to set an example right? Lol so who wants to try an pin? Lol!!!!!

JD and I have discussed this. That day will come.

Just need to find a nurse that is willing, as I am not sure I can pin myself and my wife would kill me! lol

Wow, Arnold press and dumbbell twist and press. You must have some strong wrists. Nice finish on both with FST.
