$8.00 per kg here!
That is insane. I picked up almost my bodyweight in chicken thighs for 0.69 per lb a couple weeks ago.

I do man, a lot. But I'm sitting at my desk at work and my stove is at home. 1 more hour.
Sweet momma.
Gokix, let's meet up at solutions house. I'll bring the ponchos you bring the insulin. Solution, I'm going to need about 30 of those, copy that?
Let's do this thing!
Oh, and who's going to grab the diet coke?
No words...No words...Just...I'll take four of these.BBQ Pulled Chicken Sandwiches and Sweet Potato Fries:
No words...No words...Just...I'll take four of these.
What i cook is not hard..
Take a chicken breast and cut it up.
Put BBQ Sauce in a bowl and mix in chicken.
Toast buns and add in Chicken+BBQ Sauce = Chicken sandwiches..
lol
I don't know why i spend $75 on three buffalo chicken sandwiches at hooters when i could make 30 of these for the same price.
I'm going to make them this week for sure. Maybe add a rack of ribs in there too.
GAME ON!
Mmm...Sammich.This post makes it hard for me to wait till Saturday for cheating.Chicken BBQ in a crock pot would also work well. Makes a ton and keeps the meat nice and tender for sammiches.
Lol explain the ponchos?

Why cant you eat these everyday? most buns are 25g of carbs. the ones i use are fresh from my bakery
1g fat, 25g Carbs, 5g Protein.. and delicious....
I 2nd the crock pot.. very good for large bulk cooking.
Is it a white bread bun?
If so i was reading its white because its bleached and stripped of its nutrients (white processed flour) and the body doesn't know wtf to do with it.
Just what i heard!

Where do you hear this bull crap from?
Read above. White bread may lack nutrients compared to wheat but are you stating that 25g of carbs out of your entire diet is going to ruin hitting your micronutrients/vitamins/minerals for a day? hell no...
You are really overthinking or reading some whack ass magazine.

Oh alright. For some reason I just thought you were really into ponchos.![]()
**** yeah. The US are little bitches when it comes to horse meat. I am all for using Horse as a food source. Why Cattle but not horse?
Plus, super lean baby!
Horsemeat isn't bad at all... had it a couple times out of the USA.
Other than the health/safety issues of drugged up racehorses in the food chain (probably no worse than any other livestock anymore), I see no issue ...
3) they have better micronutrient concentrations and fiber
more refined grains also have a much higher GI as well, but this doesn't matter so much if it's not the majority of your carbs and not all in the same meal.
While they may have higher concentrations that does not apply for all foods.
White Potatoes hold a lot of micronutrients that sweet potatoes dont for instance.
Some refined cereal's hold more micronutrients than rice do.. rice is pretty much null of all micronutrients same with pasta as well.
"The origin: Because most Americans eat the highly processed version of the white potato—for instance, french fries and potato chips—consumption of this root vegetable has been linked to obesity and an increased diabetes risk. Meanwhile, sweet potatoes, which are typically eaten whole, have been celebrated for being rich in nutrients and also having a lower glycemic index than their white brethren.
What science really shows: White potatoes and sweet potatoes have complementary nutritional differences; one isn't necessarily better than the other. For instance, sweet potatoes have more fiber and vitamin A, but white potatoes are higher in essential minerals, such as iron, magnesium, and potassium. As for the glycemic index, sweet potatoes are lower on the scale, but baked white potatoes typically aren't eaten without cheese, sour cream, or butter. These toppings all contain fat, which lowers the glycemic index of a meal.
"
Remember GI is based off the carb source alone, which means nothing because none of us are dumb enough to just eat "Carbs" at a meal. its going to be combined with many other sources (protein/fat) where therefore the overall GI will be greatly reduced and if you do have a "non-whole grain/wheat source) the overall GI will be nearly the same:

"GI gives us clues to the behavior of certain foods, but that's exactly the main point of this article. Clues; mere hints are all we get from our current knowledge of GI. Successful application of GI is most consistent when we use higher GI sources to enhance the speed of postworkout glycogenesis, and that's about it. Carb foods are better judged on the basis of degree processing, refinement, or alteration/removal of micronutrition -- NOT on the basis of GI, or even GL. This is as good a time as any to crush the folly of what I call "food discrimination". A prime example of this is cutting out potatoes on the basis of GI. This happens all the time, & the dieter takes pride in thinking he/she is being prudent. Well, the critical thing to realize here is that all food species in nature have unique nutrient profiles. Therefore, unique nutritional benefit can be derived from each species. The natural matrix of plant &/or animal tissue cannot be duplicated in the lab, & hence there are many unidentified beneficial agents in, say, the humble potato. As a matter of trivia, it surpasses bananas in potassium & vitamin C concentration. Not to mention, it provides default hydration, and of course is a great whole-food source of starch. The list goes on & on.
Satiety, micronutrient density, insulin response, & surrounding factors altering glucose kinetics are all much like a roll of the dice in terms of bottom-line certainty & reliability of GI. Like all things in science - especially the deep bubbly cauldron that is applied nutritional science - it ain't all that simple. All avenues in this area are winding & complex."
Chicken BBQ in a crock pot would also work well. Makes a ton and keeps the meat nice and tender for sammiches.
1 chicken, 1 bottle BBQ sauce, 8oz coke zero (trust me) and throw it all into a crock pot
yum
Diet coke and bbq sauce...
Interesting....
does it flavor it that well?
ya I'll ask my sister how she actually does it but yes
also grape jelly mixed with BBQ sauces works great too if you like stickiness
Top the asparagus and the steak, actually everything on the plate, with bernaise! Then it's a proper cheat meal.
I had to unsubscribe from this thread. It's like crack and sex. More more more. Pretty soon I'm going to need a 12 step meeting for my food "problem" if I keep this up. lol
Later guys (and girl).
