2 cups broccoli
1/2 cup brown rice
2 slices Dave's bread
(Tapatio & a smear of lowfat mayo)
750ish calories
93g pro
83g carbs
10g fat

And I ate all of it.

Pounded it!!!

So yesterday morning in the gym sucked balls. Worst day I've had since coming back to working out. I shoved a bunch of food in my face yesterday, and upon counting my calories and macros again, I realized that I haven't been feeding myself enough. That will be fixed.
Yesterday's macros
295p/195c/41f 2207 cals. Still on the low end for fats and overall cals so I'll work on it.

I took a page out of Bean's book this morning.

Wide Grip lat pulldowns

DB b/o rows

Lat stretchers (first time trying these and I like them a lot)

Straight arm pulldowns (I think that's what they're called)

Ab work to finish. Felt much better today. Also switched out micro for OG Jack3d. Have to admit that I like the OG formula much better.

So, back before I let myself slide, squats were my fav and I could do 505 parallel 1RM.
Nowadays, I have fallen in love with the deadlift. I don't know my 1RM, and don't care to know at this point, but I like them a whole god damn lot.

True dat. 2329 is still on the low end tho but I feel a ton better. Maybe I'll shoot for 2400 with roughly the same macros since I FEEL good this morning. I'm not sure that I can force down 2800 a day without cheating.

Seriously. I've gone rounds with a few LG folks on here in the past saying as long as it fits in your macros is doesn't matter if its I've cream or brown rice. I thought it was a joke.

Looking good in here troop! Nice deads btw. I'm in the same boat, in college I was squatting 505 for a few reps (parallel). Now my squats suck!! Hip flexors suck on and on. Can you tell it's been a rough day? My attitude sux lol I'm done sorry bro

I get the concept of LG but I'm not willing to experiment with it after seeing what my body can turn into after eating shltty for a couple of years. I'm not willing to buy into the "as long as it fits your macros" idea either, and I don't think my cholesterol level would either.

Thanks bean. I'm giving it an effort. We'll see how it pans out. Progress is slow, and I can accept that. Dude, it's kinda frustrating (to a certain degree) to not be able to push/pull/lift what I was once able to. I just know that I have to work that much harder to get back to that point and I'm willing to put in the work. Sometimes things have to get worse before they can get better. Don't be sorry, I'm sure you're tired and hungry. 37 more days and you can pig out and be happy.
