Here's some pics as requested, for some reason they don't show how lean I really am honestly they look completely diff than when I look in the mirror. Holding a bit of water after the last two carb up days so not as dry as I was earlier this week. I have no idea what my bf is at but by my weekly caliper measurements, ea measurement has gone down ea week.

Critique away

Yes my legs suck and they are small but I'm working on that :-)

Throw some tan on Bean and it's a revelation!! Looking great for 7 weeks left in the program champ!

Your legs are looking really dry homie. You'll see a good bit of guys will probably have poor leg conditioning. Bean5er +1

Thanks bro. I'm shocked to realize how many physique guys don't even really train legs. Pathetic IMO. They've actually come a long way tbh, which is sad, but the end of last year I hardly trained them so I've got some making up to do. Considering how much my chest has improved with hitting it 2x week ill probably do the same with legs this summer :-)

no doubts here..i know that bad mirror illusion very well :sigh:
good work

Means a lot to have your opinion in here snags. Don't ever hesitate to critique, I'm learning and know I have a long way to go in the grand scheme of things.

I agree I'm white as hell lol. My coach has this tanner he used for nationals last year that he swears by. He told me not to worry about tanning. He will apply this the morning of the show I believe and that's it. Shyt costs like 80$/tube but you figure at least 2-3 spray tans is more than that.

Thanks as always. I'm struggling with the mind games lol

You're ripped bud. I'm no pro, by any means, but I'd say your vascularity says a lot as far as how lean you are. You look great buddy. Keep killing it.

Looking awesome for 7 weeks out brother!

Def looking good, subbed for the pics in 7 weeks

Thanks bro

Thanks troop

Looking awesome for 7 weeks out brother!

Why thank you sir

No ****! Being that lean for another 7 weeks would be torture lol.

I'm really struggling with it actually all I want is food! It just sucks cuz this lower ab/back fat won't budge I know it's the last to go but fock.

I'm worried my coach is going to make me eat fish till we are done :-(

Great progress bean! Looking very lean for 7 weeks out.

Damn bean you are looking killer dude. And the legs look good, dry just like everyone else said. Just learn to love fish in my opinion alot of foods are all about preparations. I love fish and chicken, but I'm also a damn good cook. I never eat dry chicken lol.

FUK FISH. Loved it as a child. Can't stand it as an adult. Pretty much from puberty onwards. Tried it prepared so many ways and still won't touch it. Lobster is good. Fried shrimp is good but fried anything is good. Halibut may be the only fish I eat as an adult that I can stand. I almost hurl every time I eat canned tuna and have to force down every mouthful with a slam of water. Oh gawd I hate fish!

Still killin bean, you look awesome man! Vascularity is crazy too!

Looking good bro!

Ohhhhh tilapia......my worst enemy.

Lets just say I over did it with tilapia last summer/fall

Great progress bean! Looking very lean for 7 weeks out.

Thanks breezy

Look at those legs!!! Your so dry man that's awesome. Your gonna be a monster.

Thanks Mano I'm trying

To a point you are correct but the closer I get the creativity options go out the door. I can't use salsa or most sauce like stuff, just straight hot sauce, mustard and well those get old. I've learned to like cold chicken, unless its right off the grill this is the only way I will eat it. Doesn't really bother me anymore. I'm going implement some more deli meats (low cals). I've been dieting since the middle of January so I've tried just about everything lol.

I actually like fish in general. If I had the money is eat halibut no prob but that **** is expensive. Salmon I cannot have right now and I tried some tilapia a few weeks ago and the first bite I gagged lol. I hear you on the canned chx/tuna can't/won't touch ever again.

Thank you bro means a lot!

What does dry mean?

Hard, dry, not soft watery look.

Looking good bro!

Thank you

All my cooking for the most part is dry seasonings no sauces. Sauces to me are a cover up for poorly cooked meat.

Well miss dash comes a long way for tilapia.... i would rather eat swai fish.

Nothing works for me with tilapia lol
Swai fish hub ill have to look into that!

Ms dash is gross. Il fix you up bean

Everglades > Ms Dash

tilapia..uggh, dirtiest fish in existence :yuck:

I'm glad I live in Maine near the water my fish market has live crab, a lobster pound, haddock, tilapia, cod, cusk, halibut, and a bunch of other white fish. I do pass on salmon and tuna. I'm mainly just a white fish person.

The wife and I ventured into trader joes tonight as we are both interested in taking gluten out of our family's diet as much as possible (even our son). Man I'm stoked, pancakes, waffles, pasta, sauce, cereal and snack type stuff for the kiddo, I never knew how easy this would actually be. Although it made me extremely hungry I'm excited. Got the kid some cereal, Cheetos, popcorn, pizza crust, bars, all kinds of shyt. I'm so stoked for the offseason, of yummy carb sources without the crap. Very reasonable prices as well.

I know very random, but I had to share. Have a good night all

Oh yeah, legs on tap tomorrow followed by posing practice with two other teams :yikes:

Feeling blessed to be living this lifestyle and having all you great people to share the experience with!

Also, I was spurred onto this gluten free idea by following DW and breezy which led me to read/watch a lot of John meadows stuff on gluten free, so here's a question for you .

My trader joes doesn't have the pancake mix, but have gluten free flour and frozen gluten free pancakes and waffles. Any experience with the frozen items I mentioned or would I be better just getting the flour and mixing my own?

Thanks

Not really sure I just make my pancakes out of normal flour, with dat dere gluten.
Anyways though bean you're looking very lean man, you should be able to coast into the show and come in peeled

ooooh how much differnet my diet would look, if i lived out that way.. :wistful:

GF is awesome man..kudos if you have the discipline to pull it off
i normally live a very low gf-diet lifestyle anyway..current tho, i'm all in and gf is all out..lots of good ramifications from this

as for your q: always better to make your own.. but by how much? (splitting hairs)
so long as it's quality and uses right sources, you should be fine
now - if you are going to live off gf pancakes and waffles, then it would be my preference to make my own

Yeah snags, I just wish all of it was as cheap as say chicken. The fish is amazing though. Had scallops and thick cut cod the other night. It was amazing.

I really need to start posting pictures.

Glad to see you checked out Trader Joe's bean. I love that place and buy the majority of my groceries there. The prices are great on most items as well.

I've had the frozen pancakes and waffles plenty of times. They're delicious, but as previously mentioned, making your own would probably be the better the option. I know DW makes his own pancakes and believe some of his recipes are gluten free.

Call me old fashioned but I despise shopping at trader joes and the like. I feel so dirty walking in there with all the yuppies and hipsters. I have never seen so many fedoras, raybans, and skinny jeans in one place. I'll do whole foods and the local farmers market any day over trader joes

Thanks I never realized how easy would be to accomplish this so I'm excited. Def not going to live off pancakes lol just looking forward to being able to mix them in, in the offseason.

Lol our store wasn't too bad

First time I walked into TJ they were blasting "welcome to the jungle" and even the girls had beards. It's a different environment but they offer solid food choices.

Haha now that I think about it they were playing some AC dc last night if I recall. Def weird place, but they had a couple really helpful people and a ton of options overall I was impressed and it was way better than some of my experiences at Walmart lol

I don't know if you can have these during your prep but I highly recommend them lol

Closest Walmart to me is about 20 miles and it's infested with scary people. I don't believe in zombies, but I think that that Walmart is full of them. Do you have a "Whole Foods" out that way? If so, it's a good place to shop too.

girls with beards?
damn troop - seattle has gotten even stranger than the last time i was there

blue diamond - awesome stuff, great company

walmart - no
