Eating to go the gym early

I usually go the gym around 7pm

But on weekends when I'm off work I'd like to go early. When I do go early I feel extremely tired, even with a good sleep.

What's a good breakfast to give me lots of energy?

Greek yogurt + coconut oil + honey or fruit

Or you can give fasted training a shot. People have had tremendous success with FTP using Anabolic Pump and Modern BCAA.

Do you use any sort of pre-workout product? Maybe you just need a little kick to get you going. Something like Jack3d micro or even just a cup of coffee might help.

I like oatmeal with brown sugar & blueberries, chocolate milk and an omelet with tomatoes, peppers and onions.
 
whatever food you feel will give you energy. there is no specific food to eat. i fell more energized/focused training 16 hours fasted
 
A large night time meal can also pack glycogen to use for the early morning. Grab something light like an apple and a protein shake before you head off to the gym and you'll be good

I don't use pre-workout but I am looking at them, I'll have a look into fasting but can't see my self doing that ha. Thanks.
 
Coffee with 2 TBS unsalted butter from grassfed cows and 1 TBS coconut oil well shaken/blended.

You're going to want to blend that, trust me. Shaken is alright if you are in a bind but for me, it does not go down well AT ALL. What he said was a great recommendation but maybe exchange the coconut oil with some MCT oil if you aren't a fan of the coconut taste.

Coconut is fine. Hate coffee. No pain no gain! I'll try anything.

I use a blender bottle (the shaker cup with the little mttal whisk 'ball' inside) and it works fine for me if I shake the hell out of it. I can't run a blender at 4:30 AM because I can't afford the alimony and child support payments. If you do use a real blender, hold that lid TIGHT. Hot liquids expand like a mofo.

I think almond, nuts, seeds and lentils are some good energy options to try before going to gym.
