Bean's 1st contest prep (Lecheek last 8 weeks)

What are you having problems with?? Its lot easier if you have a jefit.com account too so you can link the two devices. I always set up my routine on my pc and then rearrange and play with my sets and number on my phone

Bean that is a real bad idea unless prescribed by a doctor.
Taking an antibiotic like that can actually cause you to get more sick especially if it's expired/ old.
Example:
You begin taking it. For two to four days. Stop taking once you start feeling better, but while still infected, the microbial infection is still there but comes back stronger because all you've done is manage to kill off the weakest ones, leaving plenty room for the strong / resistant ones to thrive

Thanks but my father in law is a Dr. And he came and looked at me took my temp and suggested it.

its nice havin a doc in the family lol

My dads a PT so its not exactly the same but....

I do work in a hospital and have a very good relationship with many o' Doctors and its nice to just make a phone call and get a free celestone shot or a quick script for some antibiotics or anything else really lol.

I should've been more clear, I hardly ever take anything but after my father in law looked at me he wanted to call one in but made me go in to the doc and the box to get my snot analyzed to make sure I had an infection. I wouldn't just take anything laying around. My parents put me on antibiotics anytime I got sick as a kid whether I really needed it or not so I'm not a fan of taking them thanks for your concern though ace that was good info buddy

indeed - and it does not matter the age of the antibiotic, in this instance you explain
this is very common, ppl taking meds until they "feel" they do not need them anymore, and so cease
you may get away with that on some things, but not an antibiotic

aaaaand another atrocity, one that even tho so simple, has severe ramifications
too much Rx going on in general, and for yrs yes too much antibiotics prescribed like candy
we are making our own antibiotic-resistant strains in the petri dish of America the past 35+yrs, by this simple overzealous overRx mentality that deems antibiotics for the slightest things....

:sigh:

I agree completely this is why my wife and will not put our son on medication unless he absolutely needs it. He's 4 and only recently taken his first antibiotic for a horrible ear infection.

I fully understand the importance of taking the antibiotic full term not just till I feel better.

Once again fellas I appreciate the info, and again I usually let things run their course but as stated above I've been sick off and on for a weeks with the same symptoms and it finally turned into an infection/fever thus calling for an antibiotic.

Bean, you may have had a fever and sore throat but the sickest thing on your is your abs, and well your arms, crap your shoulders too...

haha, ZING!

Thanks fellas. Feeling better today fever is gone for good hopefully sore throat is only sore when I wake up (I attribute this to the fact that I cannot breath out of my nose). Chest shoulders tomorrow :-)

Not a fan of Jet fit yet I synced everything together the other night later out my routine but it only allows for 3 sets and It wouldn't let me type shyt into the notes section so all in all I spent more time dicking around than it takes to write it in my book so back to the book I go.

Finished with 15 mins stairs 200 cals

Weight upon rising was 188.1

Solid workout per usual bean.

I'm a big fan of Jefit. You can adjust the number of sets and there should be a save button at the top right of the notes screen.

Its a learning curve on the JeFit you don't want to try to learn it while you are lifting. I tried that and went back to my books for ease of use but I am sure if I spent some time with it I would have grown to love it.

I figure ill eventually use it I remember not long ago I all but gave up on multi quotes :-)

Thanks breezy!

Yes indeed lesson learned. I didn't waste time on after the first exercise lol I realized I'd be on my phone all morning so I finished in my book.

As Arnold said, "ill be back"

I guess I need to be hosting a conference call to explain Jefit today. :)

Bean, try the declines with a free weight...BB or DB. When the path is fixed by using a Smith you can't find the groove needed for these. I have to really squeeze my lats and pull my shoulders down hard when doing them. If you get it right they completely isolate and contract the pecks.

It's scary **** trying to lie down on my gyms decline bench holding 120's. Won't do it without a spotter.

or better yet - just find a new exercise
efficacy on decline position for chest is questionable anyway (altho i will say i do personally enjoy this every once in awhile)
but if you are going to do em, AZ is right - scrap the smith and go free/DB

I've done them with DBS and not a fan.

Yeah I could see that but bailing out is easy.

Yes ill be doing something diff until I switch gyms. My current gym only has the smith option or DB's. thanks fellas

So I need some input/advice whatever. First if you guys don't think this should be in this thread just say so ill remove it.

This is what I'm going through at the moment. I was presented quite an offer last Saturday night when I went out to dinner with my aunt and uncle, his kids my wife and son. He knows how much I hate my job but he knows how hard I've worked at it since I was 13-14 (family business). My uncle said " **** it, quit putting up with it and come work for me I want to retire in 3-5 years." He's 47.

He runs/manages commercial real estate and changed his career 14 years ago. He worked concrete up until he was about my age two kids and he was making about what I do. His father I'm law made him the offer he is extending me. He said he could work 24/7 right now if he wanted to. So basically the offer is this (I've yet to meet with him to go over fine details) he basically turns over all his management properties, which have monthly income coming in, to me. During this first year while I'm doing that he will coach train and help me get my lisence and teach me everything I need to know, and that his father in law showed him. This uncle has been like an older brother to me and I know he wouldn't get me in over my head.

My worry is that even though I believe my father would eventually be happy with this (as he never really wanted me to go to work where I do) but its to the point that he will be screwed for a bit without me. I do just about everything around there business wise including still regularly drive truck, which I'm sick of. My problem is a couple things, I haven't had a raise in like 8 years, my grandfather could just up and sell our business ( none of them get along), and also I'm not sure I want to do what my dad does as far as dealing with corporate etc. So I just feel bad leaving him hanging but at the same time I have to look out for my family and this is a hell of an opportunity IMO.

I would just like some thoughts or advice Thanks and sorry to derail

Hmmm. First and foremost you need to think of your family. If you are offered an opportunity to better your life and provide a better life to your wife and future children I would do so. Im sure your father would understand your position and although he might be disappointed at first he will understand deep down. Opportunities like this don't come along very often in life an d you don't want to miss out and ten years down the line regret not giving it a shot. Give a notice to your father and then get to work with the other job. Family will always understand. I quit a steady job to work for the railroad five years ago. Worked all over the place and it was tuff for my wife and kids.....but now I am settled back down and I am glad I too the chance be cause we are doing very well. Sacrifices must be made for the greater good sometimes.

Opportunities like this don't come very often. It sounds like you have someone who cares for you and will show you the ropes. If it eventually means more security for the family it something that may be worth the risk.

Thanks for the replies fellas I'm meeting with him soon to go over everything them ill make my decision.

On another note :-) my bloods came back after 60 + days of HCG treatment.

Test came up from 234 to 619
Estrogen is up from 17 to 63
All other tests looked great

Dude, if pops is eventually going to be happy with it, and this will be better for the fam, you answered your own question already. Dad's gonna love you no matter what. I wouldn't pass on the opportunity.

Your Dad wants you to do better in life than he did. All fathers do, or should. So he won't or shouldn't begrudge you. He may be a little disappointed but he may surprise you and congratulate you on the change. Most important thing though is in the end he will be happy for you when you are doing better for yourself.

and man shall leave his parents and cleave unto his wife.....

immediate family comes first man. I would do anything for my wife and daughter and that includes decisions that my mother or in-laws wouldn't like. Opportunities like this don't come along very often in life, jump on it. But jump with a well informed idea of what your exactly getting into. Real estate is a great place to make money if you know what you are doing. My wife and I just bought our first rental property (closed on Dec 31st actually) and are already turning a profit. There will be many more to come for us as we have been looking and researching for a long time before finally making the leap. It is risk vs. reward but you can skew that risk scale with hard work and knowledge bro. Also congrats on the numbers man, things look to be on an upturn for you and your family!

It's a tough decision at first but really what it comes down to is what's best for your future. Bc your family will need you to be there for them and your Dad if he's like mine, will understand that your doing something for the good not to just hurt him but make a better future.

Oh, and by your numbers, I think I see HCG in my future.

Haha yeah we will see how long it lasts b4 it shuts me down which eventually from what I've read it does. Then it'll be trt and HCG :-)

Thanks Pack. The opportunity is huge and with my work ethic and his knowledge is should provide me with a lot more benefits than just money but the money would be nice as well :-)

I don't really have any input, I'm just a nomad with no wife or kids in my mid 20's that takes naps after work each day

But I'm soaking up yee elders outlook/input. Best of luck bean

Bastard! Taking naps what is that? Oh yeah I used to do that as well lol. Always glad to have your wisdom I'm here DW!

Haha DW loves to rub it in that he gets naps lol

As it sits right now I'm meeting with my aunt and uncle for dinner with the wife this weekend to hash out the fine details. The management stuff will have to hold me over income wise while I train and learn the rest of the business. All his building are owned by him so it straight cash coming in monthly he just needs to know what I need to make to live and go from there. This opportunity is so surreal I can't wrap my head around it. It's going to be a lot of hard work which I'm already used to just the only difference is ill have to chance to reap the rewards income wise for that work instead of being promised things for years and taking on more responsibility yet getting nothing in return. Have a good night all I'm passing out gonna go wreak havoc on my back in the morning. 6 days till things begin to shred up with Oxy eca and c20. Lecheek and USP FTW!
