VERSA-1, Compound20, SS Forskolin-95 (8 weeks)

I tried the front and behind overhead presses yesterday... doms today in my shoulders are insane.

Yet to try the prone shrugs...

You should try the "super" wide grip presses next.

I recommend you do.

Day 60

No weigh-in today. I'll most likely hop on the scale tomorrow.

I'll try to take some picture updates in the next couple days.

Once I finish Forskolin-95, I'll probably end this log and start a long-term one.

Supplementation

VERSA-1: 1 cap pre workout

Compound 20: 2 caps pre workout

Forskolin-95: 1 cap when I woke up, 1 cap pre workout, 1 cap post workout, 1 cap pre bed (100mg total)

Enhanced: 1.75 scoops pre workout

Modern BCAA+: 2 scoops pre workout/1 scoop post workout

ALCAR-500: 2g pre workout

Agmatine 500: 1cap before 2 high carb meals

AP: 1 cap pre workout, 1 cap before post workout meal

Test Powder: 2 scoops pre workout

AnaBeta: 2 caps pre workout, 2 caps post workout

X-Factor: 8 gels pre workout

GlycerGrow: 3 scoops pre workout

-I'm out of C20 and have about 3 days left of Forskolin-95. I'll probably run Versa-1 until F-95 is finished. That'll give me another couple workouts with the V-1/Enhanced combo.

Today's session was easily the most intense I've had so far. The V-1/Enhanced combo gave me a very high level of focus/energy and I needed all of it. Endurance was solid, considering what I did, and my quads were painfully pumped about halfway through my workout.

Lying Leg Curl
2 warm-up x20
110x15, x25 partials
120x10, x25 partials
130x8, 90x8, 60x10, 90x30 partials

Leg Press (3sec negative/no lockout)
2 warm-up x8-10
630x15, x20 partials
720x12, x18 partials
810x8, x15 partials, 540x10, x10 partials

-It was ridiculous how bad my legs were burning and I literally couldn't walk after these. My right leg gave out and I took an unexpected knee...maybe people thought I had to tie my shoe? lol

Stretching
1min per quad

Hack Squat (1.5 rep/3sec negative/2sec pause in hole on 2nd half of rep/no lockout)
1 warm-up x8
180x12
230x8

-Required a lot of focus to maintain the approach throughout each set.

Stretching
1min per quad

HS Split Squat/Stiff Deads
70x10 / 140x8
70x10 / 140x8

-Thought I'd take advantage of the machines versatility and finish with a combo.

I seriously want to take a nap and would if I didn't have to spend all my free time eating lol. I haven't been this worn out from a workout in a long time.

Shoulder session tomorrow.

Picture updates...yes please!

If it is not to difficult, incorporate that food log you were speaking of a while back!

Nice workout...you always kill it

No problem. That's a good idea and I definitely will when I'm not pressed for time. It would probably be easier if started putting meals and macros in my log and eventually transferred a bunch to a separate thread.

Thanks man.

How about those Bruins last night. Hate the Sens

I didn't get to see the game, but it's nice to get another win either way. The B's are looking pretty strong this year. The Sens don't bother me too much lol.

Day 61

I weighed 218.4lbs (+4.4lbs from day 1) this morning. It looks like I've been holding some extra water the last couple days. I might do some cardio or hit the steam room tomorrow and try to shed some.

Leg DOMS is present, but not too intense.

I have 2 days left of Forskolin-95 and will continue this log through its use.

Solid workout today. I bumped up to 2 scoops of Enhanced (with V-1) and that seemed to be the perfect dose for me. Focus and energy were both awesome. My shoulders had an intense pump that remained for a while after my workout.

2 warm-up x8
185x8
205x8
215x8

95x13, 45x15 (bar)
105x10, 45x13

-Strength was improved on these/felt easier

Tried the prone shrugs today...not sure how we feel about each other yet

Yeah I did it this week using the T-Bar method. Have to say its nice to have the focus on point with versa-1 to make sure you shrug it correctly... I liked them and it had me sore too and honestly I really don't do maneuvers like that ski could feel that I had a different type of shoulder and trap soreness after adding them to my workout. I think it will help create great definition and separation in the back. Help those traps pop out and line themselves out screaming here I am!!!

Another fine workout bro, and another 2 pts for the B's!

Thanks wasme. It was a good day!

Versa-1 is especially helpful with exercises that require a high level of focus to perform correctly/effectively. When you hit them right, the contraction is awesome. I had a "new" kind of soreness after doing prone shrugs for the first time as well.

Day 62

I weighed 217.2lbs (+3.2lbs from day 1) this morning. My appearance was looking better than yesterday, which I'm attributing to water loss.

I took a couple pictures this morning, but after comparing to my original ones, the lighting could've been better. I might try again tomorrow.

Supplementation

VERSA-1: 1 cap pre workout

Forskolin-95: 1 cap immediately after waking up, 1 cap pre workout, 1 post workout, 1 cap pre bed (100mg total)

Anabolic Pump: 1 cap pre workout, 1 cap before post workout meal

Today's session was probably my favorite since starting this run. Energy, focus, and endurance were all on point throughout my entire workout. I was having a blast and eventually had to force myself to leave the gym.

"Dante" Rows (2sec squeeze)
2 warm-up x10
140x12, 90x8
160x8, 90x8
160x8, 90x8

Prone Shrugs against rack (3sec hold/squeeze)
1 warm-up x12
225x8
225x8
225x8, 135x10

-I'd do these everyday if I could.

Stretching
1min per lat

Single Arm Pulldowns (2sec squeeze)
80x12, x10 partials
90x8, x8 partials, 60x8, x8 partials

Stretching
1min per lat x2

BB Deadlift Shrugs
2 warm-up x10
315x8 / x5 (shrugs per dead rep)
315x8 / x3 (shrugs per dead rep/3sec hold)

Reeves Deadlifts
1 warm-up x8
185x10
185x10

-I wasn't ready to leave and really wanted to give these a shot. I didn't quite do them the way Meadows does (basically exploding into a shrug), but they felt very effective. I used an Olympic bar, which I don't think he has the wingspan to pull off. I'll probably try to add a little more weight next week, although it wasn't too easy today.

-Mine were performed similar to the below example, with a little more bending of the knees, and without slamming the weight down.

Tomorrow is a day off from the gym.

I got 60 day cycle locked and loaded for PCT

Awesome. Tuffguy80 has a log going currently with Versa-1 in his PCT. It's been going great.

I didn't have time to attempt more pictures this morning, but here's what I took yesterday. The pictures in the black shorts are the most recent.

starting pics: 214lbs
ending pics: 217.2lbs

I'm pretty happy being up 3lbs+ with what looks like no additional fat gain. My belly fat has actually gone down slightly according to my calipers. Much of the first month, my progress was somewhat slowed due to fighting an infection, but I made up for it during month 2.

Damn bro I didn't realize you were such a beast!

Beastly! As always you have this lean bulk thing down pat!!!

Yep, definitely leaner and more cut. Muscle separation is much deeper. How is that possible that I can see the difference so quickly. Amazing work Breezy. Obviously, you are doing things RIGHT !

Your cuts gonna be epic bro, already looking lean and mean.

Got my work cut out for me to be on your, matty & beans level!

Thanks DW. That's the plan. I didn't want to add any fat with this run, so I'd be set up nicely for a recomp/eventual cut.

I'm sure your cut will be impressive as well brother.

Haha I'd say you're there bud look better than I do lol

Haha thanks. I remember you looking very lean in a recent picture.

Thanks buddy! Through a lot of trial and error, I've gained a decent understanding of what works best for me. Believe it or not, eating this much isn't always fun.

Quick update. I finished my run of Versa-1 and will use the last of Forskolin-95 tonight. I'll probably open a bottle of PowerFULL before bed as well.
I might get a log started in the training/workout log forum as soon as tomorrow. I'll post a link here if I do.

And we appreciate you being such a bad ass Spartacus!

Ha. Thanks dude.

Anyone try the Myofusion Elite: Peanut Butter Cookie Dough protein? I generally like the Myofusion flavoring (I used it for a few years straight) and I'm finally getting to the end of my protein stash.

Haha I ended up ordering it last night. 4lbs for $42 shipped (with free shipping).
I have a feeling it'll be delicious.

Interested in how you like that PBCD. I am debating what to get to stock up on some protein. To go back to my tried and trues or be adventurous, that is the question!

Also definitely will follow your new training log once you get it started.

If done well, it should be amazing. I had to go the adventurous route and give this flavor a shot. I've always liked Myofusion, so I don't see it being bad.

Cool. Thanks bolt. I'll try to get it started with today's workout.

Looking jack3d, Breezy! Good luck on your Product Educator app brother

I got the new log started.
