Supplements to take?

Hey I'm getting back into the gym cause my season of wrestling is over so it's off track practices, but I wanna build up. Does anyone know a good pre-workout supplement? I've taken super pump Max and for an After workout just Whey protein. Any suggests would help thank you.

Food food food food food.

But some creatine monohudrate. Any brand. and if you really want a pre-workout, I suggest straight beet juice. If that doesn't float your boat then jack3d is good.

I heard thou the creatine isn't suggested for 17 year olds, and beet juice? Is that off of a plant?

Creatine is fine. Technically no supplements are intended under 18. But food is the big thing. If you want muscle you gotta lift heavy and eat heavy.

And beet juice is the best preworkout I've tried. Just regular grocery store beet juice.

who said beet juice was linked to cancer?

I said nitrites (and also nitrates) are linked to colon cancer.

but looks like organic nitrates (converts into nitrites) found in veggies, appears to be safe, but inorganic nitrites can be dangerous.

I do about 8 oz around 45 mins preworkout. Sometimes more like 90 minutes. Its strange but works really well. Tastes pretty good too.

Pumphouse said it best, food is number one. Protein is the first supplement I would buy, second would be creatine and third would be a pre-workout if you want a boost in the gym
