Subaru brx vs scion fr-s

Haha is that due to the slower 0-60? Because from what I understand it's faster on a track.
No, because it is auto..lol Eff that.
i have read and heard of numerous gearbox problems but cant answer the warranty question. browse the evo forums for a bit.
THe gear box is very, very solid. The issue was the early 8 transfer cases. They switched to an LSD in 05. You can get a shep built tcase for under $1k.

The evo is a very capable car.

good deal....

You dot think 26 is reasonable?

after taxes and etc plus the 0-60 time is not impressive compared to a mustang and a few other cars in the same price range.the price isn't awful though I'd probably get a camaro or the Hyundai genesis for around the same price instead.

It isn't built for straight line racing. Put them both on a track(road course) and they are very close. Except the BRZ would be 10x more fun to drive than a base mustang/camaro. Both of those feel like pigs in comparison.

They car wasn't mean't to be fast. It was meant to bring back the light weight, well handling, fun to drive sport compact cars of back in the day.

It also is going to hold value 10x better.

EBF- In that price range and your climate, just grab an 11' WRX. They are super fun to drive, and do well in the snow. Do a few bolt-ons and call it a day.

I will certainly look into that as well. Lots of options!

Best way to talk down car salesmen people

I'm goin in tomorrow for deposit on the wrx as its better long term for space, and size.

The brz it's small like the g35 which I'm very uncomfortable in so that's out

please, whatever you do.. don't put a ****ty exhaust and a body kit on ANYTHING. haha. keep it clean :]

Look up the invoice online and go in with a price in mind. I would not pay above that, and aim for less.

If you can get a better deal on a 12 do that.

The 12 premium is actually 28.7 with 3000 miles

The 13 premium is 29.5 and I wanna talk him down

The 13 base I got for 27.6

But I like I said I hav to see the size difference between the two I have been googling all night

There are no changes from 12-13.. Are you getting a hatch or sedan?

Sedan

The pice that's on the link is almost 3 k lower for the base sedan

How did they get those numbers I'm having trouble navigating the site

Start price msro I assume for baseboard what's listed

So I don't understand how it is 3 k more where I am going.

Do I negotiate based on the Subaru website

Are there any options on the car you looked at? Are you looking at the invoice price on that site or MSRP?

You wanna try to get at minimum invoice IMO. If they won't do it, you can certainly find a dealer who will.

What that site does is compile sales data and tells you where most people are getting their cars, so where you kinda wanna pay. That is what the chart represents.

MSRP is on top/side which is $26,565. Which matches up with Subaru's website.

I have owned just about 30 cars. lol I am a car whore.

Negotiate for me? Lol.

So I'm goin to ask fr the premium for 28? If they are pricing at 29,500?

Just tell them you want the car for invoice. I am getting an invoice(with destination included) 27.4-27.7 So I would aim there. Just tell them you want the car for invoice. Period. Again if they won't do it, there are PLENTY of dealers who will.

How far are you from

Frank Reynolds said:
Absolutely. Email metric and work a deal with them too. Tell them you're ready to buy if they'll sell you a car at invoice.

Will do man even if I have to orde right?

Same car?

lol.. Black looks nice when it is clean but it is a ****ing bitch keeping it clean/swirl free. After my current black car is gone, I will never own another black car again.

Good luck!

Oh for sure.

White looks really nice IMO. That dark grey is nice too. It is dark, but doesn't show dirt/dust, and scratches quite as much as black.

White typically is the most desirable and will be easiest to sell IMO.

I'm torn

White black or blue

I've had a red car and black cars. Guess I need side by side comparison?

I want a nice color that will make people's eyes turn and think damn that's hits awesome. But needs to be "me"

I only know black for myself

If you really want a black car, get one. You gotta be happy.

Just be prepared for your new car to look all swirled up in the sunlight. Very very hard to keep a black car clean, and free from swirls/scratches. I am super anal with detailing my cars, and have a somewhat OCD, methodical method, and they will still begin to swirl/marr over time. I need to fully polish them at minimum yearly for me to be happy.

My car looks great for like 1 day before there is a fine layer of dust all over it, and it drives me nuts. Wont even notice that on white.

I love white cars. Look so sick.

What u think of the plasma blue pearl. Looks great

If its a cleanliness thin I want a color dark that's easy to keep clean.

I'll be getting it washed frequently buying a year thing to my car wash place by me

Dark colors will always be MUCH harder to keep clean. It is like the opposite of clothes..lol

White, and silver are notoriously the easiest to keep clean.

The problem with black is they begin to show swirls, and scratches really bad. On lighter colored cars they are VERY hard to see. Black cars they really stand out.

This is all from washing, and day to day use over time. It is pretty much unavoidable.

Blue pearl seems to be a goo In between an will look black at night

Dealership guy says whiten which I love but do you guys think it's too "plain"

I'm a colorful tattooed person lol.

I've got a white Nissan Murano after having a black 300C and honestly I think the white looks just as sexy if not more so and it's a LOT easier to keep clean looking. In fact, when I get another C I'm going with white.
