Cary goes Nutts for App Nutts HGH-Up and New N.O. Uptake

Day 26 - Biceps and Shoulders - I actually talked my friend into waking up early and joining me in the gym this morning!!
BICEPS
Alternate DB Curls: 30x10 35x10 40x10,8
Reverse BB Curls: 50x10,10 60x10
Hammer Curls (odd reps-1 arm / even reps-both arms): 35x10 40x10 45x10
BB Curls: 60# 7sets x 10reps

SHOULDERS
Seated DB Press: 35x10 40x10,10 45x6
45# plate Raises: 3sets x 10reps
Arnold Press: 30x10 35x10,10
Lateral DB Raises: 20x10,10 25x10

After, Kevin wanted to do 45# plate curls burnouts - as many as we could do. I pumped out 27 reps without stopping!!!

I'm comming into the home stretch with my Uptake / HGH Up stack :sad3:
I really like the comments I've been getting from my co-workers saying that I'm slimming down. Kevin also told me that my arms are getting real big, he said that they used to be jello.

From jello to jacked....pretty nice improvement over the course of a month. It's always sad to see a great stack like this come to an end, but hopefully you have seen good enough results that you will consider picking up some reinforcements.

Nice. Might have even been cooler if you had a little product bottle like black cats and used that as the nose and then the hghup and n.o. uptake as the eyes. :D

UGH, I woke up this morning like I always do and was gonna get ready to hit the gym. I looked out the window, it was windy and rainy (thanks to Hurricane Sandy) the house was a little cool and it was warm and very comfortable under the covers, so I decided to put off the gym for one more day. I'll go back and hit it extra hard in the morning (the gym that is ;) )

At least you're not stuck in a hospital/work because of the storm. Chest biceps became a double shift.

The low barometric pressure due to Sandy is playing hell on my right shoulder, it is aching like a tooth

So mad at this pain in my shoulder, had to skip the gym again this morning. GGRRRRRR!!!! Maybe tomorrow, hopefully the storm will be far enough that the barometric pressure will come back up some.

It's funny how that effects some people. I get it in my knee. We're our own weathermen. lol

Yea tell me about it. Back when i first had surgery on it, I could feel a thunderstorm comming up about 2 hours out.

The weather messes with me something fierce to. I have two bad knees and man can I ever tell when there is a serious change in weather. It is a little different for me though because I feel the most pain in my right hamstring and it tightens up to the point where I cannot do anything with legs or feels like it will snap like a twig. This is mainly because when I had surgery they pulled out 3/4 of my hamstring to repair my acl & mcl. Of course I also have no meniscus in my right knee either so that doesn't help. Enough rambling on... :D

Cheers!

Ouch, sorry to hear that. At least you know how the weather affects people with various surgeries.

I hear you there with the weather-related knee-pain. The hamstring issue is exactly why I chose to go with donor tissue on my last knee surgery.

No reason to be sorry man (I do appreciate the sentiment though) It is what it is. However, my sob story aside. Sh*t happens and you just have to roll with the punches in life...I really just wish the weather didn't cause such issues for me. No whining here, but man sometimes it is rough and I wouldn't wish it on anybody.

My doctor felt it was better to go with the hamstring option for me due to the size of my legs believe it or not. I mean at that point when I got hurt I had massive legs and a retarded amount of muscle tissue (as in my legs were bigger around than most people's waistlines). My surgeon believed that the tissue from my hamstring would support me better and be longer lasting than the cadaver option. I am never going to be able to squat like I used to, but the most annoying thing in the world for me are deads now. The last time I went super heavy (500lbs) I had the weight up, but I couldn't lock out because there was so much tension on my hamstring I could feel that it was about to rip apart if I pulled back any farther and locked out. This was rather humbling for me because 500lbs used to be no big deal for me. Now I have adapted and changed up how I train and forgotten about the super heavy weights. I still go heavy, but no more than 350 anymore just to be on the safe side.

Adapt and overcome

Well, sadly yesterday was day 30 and the end of my stack - empty bottles SAD.
I did get to hit the gym this morning and I blew up chest.
Smith Bench: 135x10 185x5 205x3 225x1 235x1/2 = almost got it up, got up the the 2nd peg
Incline Bench: 115x7 125x5 135x5
Flat Bench Cable Flies: 30x10 35x7,7
Incline Cable Flies: 30x10 35x7,7
Hammer Strength Iso Wide Chest: 45x10 then 10 fast 45/10x10 then 10 fast 45/20x10
Still had a hell of a pump.
On a side note, there was an ez bar with 45s on it on the preacher curl - so I was feeling froggy, I picked it up and curled it twice!!

Final review, pics and measurements will be up by the end of the week......

Here's my final review of my NO Uptake/HGH Up stack:
This was also my first run with a HGH booster so I really was not sure what kind of results I would see. First off, I have to say that the NO Uptake gave me one hell of a pump! The pump seemed to last most of the day. To get a pump from a pill and not a powder is really saying something. As far a the HGH Up, started sleeping like a baby after the first few days of taking it. I would have some crazy dreams but for me that is really nothing new, I have wired dreams all the time. I would wake up in the morning feeling rested and refreshed and ready to hit the gym and take on the rest of the day. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the stack and I would definately recommend it and I would also definately buy the stack myself to run it again.

STRENGTH 8/10
ENERGY 8/10
DOSING 7/10
LIBIDO 7/10
OVERALL 8/10

FINAL MEASUREMENTS COMMING UP

Thanks for sharing your thoughts Cary. I'm glad you enjoyed NO Uptake and HGH-Up. I'm looking forward to your final measurements and progress pics.

FINAL MEASUREMENTS
Weight: 215 before 212 now
Waist: 41.5 before 40 now
Arms: 16.5 before 16.5 now
Forearms: 12.5 before 12.5 now
Neck: 16 before 16 now
Chest: 45 before 45.5 now
Shoulders: 53 before 54 now
Legs: 23 before 23 now
Calves: 15 before 15 now

Some of my measurements stayed the same, I can attribute this to maybe losing weight/bodyfat? Would like to hear the opinions of others. I do look a little more cut than I did when I started. I will post pics tonight when I get the wife to take a few.

Many thanks to Applied Nutraceuticals, Dirk Tannis for taking a chance with me. Dewey, thanks for your comments and being there with encouragement! And thanks to EVERYONE else who commented on my progress.

Pictures will certainly tell where the weight came from and give a final show of the whole package. There's no denying you've increased shoulders and chest. I'll mark it in the books as improvement. Congrats, and thank you.

Great job on the log Mr.K

MMM...the pics are kinda fuzzy to be able to give some real useful feedback. I do think you have the potential to have a pretty solid build. One thing that I notice is that from what I see is that you are pretty symmetrical. There appears to be only a minor difference in development between your right and left arms. Regardless, it was a great log bud!

Thanks guys, I will take 'stalkers' along to my next log. Doesn't hurt to have some sage advice along the way.

The one thing I need to add to my workout is the one thing I hate.....cardio. I know that cardio is one of the best things besides diet to help get rid of the stubborn fat in my abs
