Oh, and I am for Gary Johnson.. just to be clear here.

For the sheer fact he supports the FairTax act, he is my 100% choice. Get 100% of the population paying taxes at the register and giving the people below the poverty line prebates... a win right there.

That's the thing. Marriage is a legal and a religious institution. Christian marriage is a pact before God where you as a couple are vowing a life of submission to the Almighty and one another. It is an institution set-up by God Himself from the beginning.

Legal marriage is something set-up by the government and dictated by laws. Those laws should not infringe on the rights of religious institutions, and as someone who firmly believes homosexuality to be a sin I do not want to see my government elevate it to the point of God's intended purpose.

As for the "family value packs", that is purely a business issue.
 
In that case it should be legal. The ancient Greeks who lived thousands of years before the bible existed did not even have a word for sexuality and 'gay' marriage was norm. By this definition Greek views I marriage should be allowed so its okay for gays to get married as long as they swear to Zeus and not god?
 
Obama is nothing more than a celebrity... He says what he wants people to hear, he is living life like a movie star.
Not saying I like Romney, but Obama does not deserve to be president for how he has "used" us for a 4 year vacation.

If you believe gay marriage should be legal, then you are entitled to your opinion on the matter as am I. That's the beauty of voting our beliefs. I personally do not want to see gay marriage be legal. So, I voted for Romney. Not the only reason, but one of many.

His campaign contributions have majoritively come from a few very select wealthy businessmen, not people like you and me. He doesn't and won't represent our interests.

Why do I care if he releases his Tax returns? he can have all the money he wants offshore, he did nothing illegal. I find him smart as **** to hide his money for our overtaxing government.

Reduce the Corp Tax rate from teh worlds highest, and those jobs will begin to return... again, how is he responsible for this?

The rest is nothing but talking points propaganda that I care not to look into.

BTW, I am not for Romney or Obama, but I don't see the travesty here. To think that either Obama or Romney is for the middle class is looking through some rose colored glasses.

I love how Obama gets the Gay Marriage vote.

The president can do nothing about Gay Marriage. I don't care who he is, or what he believes. It is a state issue, vote for the senator you believe in for that issue.

Ironically Obama was anti gay marriage as seen in his 2008 debate due to religious convictions. If he folds due to pressure from a group on a religious belief, just goes to show why we cow tow to foreign nations now.

Well that's because of this whole 'Christian nation' ideology. Everyone was up in arms that Obama was a Muslim. Honestly I could give a **** less because the president should represent all people and religions. So I support his platforms removal of Christianity as well as support of gay rights wether or not he can do anything about it.

Something I am afraid of. The UN World Tax that specifically targets the US, and the UN Gun Control Treaty scares the crap out of me. In direct conflict with many constitutional amendments.

loan rates are fixed when you get the loan, so thats unimportant. The reason you had to borrow so much? just like with the housing crisis, the easier money was to borrow, the more schools could afford to raise tuition and people didn't care. They had no need to be competitive pricewise as the government kept making student loans cheaper and cheaper in repayment. 99% of people wouldn't care whether they paid $20,000 or $25,000 for a car, so long as their 5 year payments were $400 on it....

If you privatize loans interest rates will likely drop to market competitiveness. That's how business works.

i think it's more like people don't care...in which case i think we are already as well off as though we were such a country.

I can only hope the belief and wants of the few will be enough to save us from the inevitable future for a lil longer.

No one seems to care about the core beliefs this country was founded on and def don't care about the future of human kind as a species.

Coupled with a government that is no longer for the people as a whole but it's own interest along with those who have enough to buy their "rights"... i don't see us lasting much longer as a nation, let alone a people righteous enough to be spared from our own undoing.

I would love to say i would vote for mit as i too am lds... but he certainly also has his own special interest groups backing him and quite honestly the president we elect now def won't be our saving grace 10 years from now, it's all the other politicians, congressmen and our rights being forfeited with new laws made daily that we need to pay attention to... but getting Mr. Executive order abuser out of office NOW wouldn't hurt in the long run.

Remember...when it's time to bury or guns... it's time to dig them up.

Created traffic and made me late to work where 1/3 of my paycheck gets donated to his crew for their own ideas of distribution.

In my opinion: both these guys are goons. It's another round of picking the better of two bad choices. I don't wanna vote for either of them because as a mid-20s single, white, middle class American with full time employment and no dependents and little investment options I'm screwed either way.

When the issue is who is going to be placed in charge of the nation I live in, I would like that person to have made a reasonable effort to have understood what each candidate stands for. Likewise, a statement made by someone outside of the deciding country with the intention of swaying someone to vote one way or the other is a pretty serious matter.

also heres another statistic, over half of marriages end in divorce today with the number rising, i highly doubt gay couples who are faithful and devout will reallly ruin the sanctity of marriage, Vegas already did that.

@ALL - Understand something and understand it well.

You can communicate your disagreements as intellignetly and passionately as you desire to. There is a slew of you newcomers here who believe it is OK to name call and attack someone who does not agree with you or has a differing opinion.
