They will get there :-) still have same respect. We were both boots at one point

Lol I know dude...

Sounds about right. Soldiers get **** on in this country. Sad to say. My bro did 3 tours. Came home. Couldn't get hired as a damn rent a cop security guard at a hospital. Straight bs.

this burns me to the core man... I am not military, but I have some close friends and my training partner is a medically seperated marine. It amazes me how little respect he gets, even though he doesn't ask for it...

My dad was a Vietnam vet as an SF sergeant and when he got divorced from my mother he lived out of his car for the longest time before getting a minimum wage job as a night guard for a Marina. Its ridiculous that sh*t like that happens in America.

1700 to 330 or 430 forgot

In 2002 at Benning our final roadmarch of OSUT was 24 miles. It was called "The Bayonet." Basically it was a long circular fking march back from FTX. It took like 20-24 hrs, there were hour long rest or chow breaks every so often. For part of the march we went 3 mi toward Sand Hill, then turned around and went 3 back to the TAA. I was actually in the the first cycle of Infantry training that got done int the BCTB instead of the ITB. C 2/47 , directly by the Sand Hill PX, the one with the huge tire field and the "Charlie Rock" sign.

I have full respect for him. No true soldier should ask for respect. Not ALL soldiers deserve it but he seems like a squared away vet. If only people knew exactly

The sacrifices made for a country that lives free because of these heroes and upon their return they have very few places to turn. People don't realize the sacrifices made by joining the armed forces.
