It shares the common side effects and contraindications of other SSRIs, with high rates of nausea, somnolence, and sexual side effects. Unlike two other popular SSRI antidepressants, fluoxetine and sertraline, paroxetine is associated with clinically significant weight gain. Discontinuing paroxetine is associated with a high risk of withdrawal syndrome. Due to the increased risk of birth defects, pregnant women or women planning to become pregnant are recommended to consult with their physician
Celexa 20mg/ED. I'm happy... and I don't want to kill anyone. (Most of the time, anyway...) HA!!![]()
Never heard Paxil before but after the Wikipedia article at Invalid Link Removed I don't think I ever want to have to take it.
Yeah thats the only thing i worry about is getting stuck that way. i just need a brake from my emotions they have always bin alittle strange and just had a few family problems and a bad brake up so yeah my current cycle wouldnt help. Oh well
Paxil is some addictive ****, just like most depression drugs. Better learn to cope instead of cover because relapse is 100x worse when u stop taking the drug
And by 100x worse, I mean a lot more suicide attempts when people stop taking those drugs. Do ph's effect your mood at all? Sometimes that extra test makes u a little emotion free, but the pct will rape your mind
Oh dont get me wrong iv just given up smoking never really bin a weed kinda guy but a big fat J would go down nice.Weed, only suppresses bad emotions and enhances good ones, with me anyway.
female is part of it my ex lol and her 5'8 170 pound smartass new boyfriend he wants to fight me..... yeah smart idea..... and just having family problem as well so yeah need to be a zombie Gym eat sleep and more of each lol.Would these emotional issues happen to have anything to do with a female or love interest, or are they simply the stresses of life?
In my experience, Celexa is going to give you the fewest side effects of any prescription anti-depressant. Keep in mind though that it is just a tool to help you along, it's not going to cure you. For your long term health, I'd recommend finding a therapist that you trust and beginning regular treatment along with the Celexa. A good way to think of it is that emotional issues are a symptom of having out of shape thought processes. Celexa is like a supplement that will help, but you will only "kick your mind into shape" if you work it out regularly with a therapist.
