I don't know him, it was a link that was shared to my facebook. Here's a post from the page explaining what happened:
"May 31, 2012 : Eric was patrolling an area when he stepped on an IED and it blew up on him. He was hurt very badly and transported to a British hospital where he underwent his first set of surgeries. His right foot was crushed, his leg was broken in 3 places, his right arm was snapped in half along with lots of shrapnal in his body. His right foot was immediately amputated. His right arm and left leg were splinted and protected. all of his wounds were deep cleaned. Eric was heavily sedated through all of this and said he did really well with everything."

On another note I Alpha'd out in the gymski today! Beat all previous logs! I'm getting really happy with my dip weight hung an 80 DB repped out 9 rest/pause 4 r/p (DC training) 3 gotta go up in weight again next week! I love this shít!!!!

Nah man i've got the best job in the world! Today - did homework took a 3 hour nap and hit the gym all while getting paid, so if that means no serm for pct so be it! I would not trade it for the world!
