Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's that watch my log. Get out there and spend some quality time with the kids and make sure they know their Daddy loves em! If you still have your Dad around, let him know how much you love and appreciate him.

Good job on the DOMs.... I haven't had em in a while.
Lovin the nature boy, Rick flair!
Nothing like some good DOMS in the morning.
That's right.

I had the best night's sleep I've had in a very long time. As I posted earlier, woke up feeling great. Mind was clear and refreshed. DOMS set in big time today. Today was a scheduled rest day, but I headed to the gym for a short cardio session. 20 minutes on stationary bike and 10 minutes on treadmill. Tomorrow we're back to legs..My prediction for tomorrow..

Haha. Yes. It will hurt. I will scream out in pain. I may puke. But I will not quit. I will dominate the iron.

Good inspiration right there. I might go to it tomorrow before my workout.

great quote sir! what is it that they say about pain? weakness leaving the body?
I know I'm late, but forgive me I'm new. I wanna see what comes of this, you have my support.
I think it's kinda a love/hate relationship with DOMS. It hurts but it's so good cause you know you got those fibers stimulated and are creating growth!
Sick routines bro, that leg day looks killer! Love the quote too, so much truth in those words!
Brick walls, Quoting ALI ? Im starting to wonderd here lol.
Nice update Capt.
How do you like the joint fixx?
Great variety in your workout Capt !!!
Awesome job !
Hahaha, UFC fighters just don't have good enough quotes to include. Thanks man. As for the Joint Fixx, it's actually really helping out my knees. I'm starting to get a little more confidence on leg days cause I know I won't be in severe pain after from my knees. I know I'm bound for knee surgery eventually.
I admit I don't know anything about this y3t program but man that's alot of volume! I also noticed you do quite a bit of warm-up sets. Is that part of the program as well or just for the joints?
Ya I hear ya my 80 yearold old man should of had his done 40 years ago. Im starting to limp around as well just like him. I know I will have to go in myself one day. Plus I have no cartilage and Im bone on bone so standing on a concrete floor all day at work isnt my friend.

Today: Today brought chest/tricep day again. I woke up nice and refreshed and ready to kill another workout. The Mass HGH definitely doesn't make me go to sleep, but I'm out for the night once I do get to sleep. I have noticed that I'm looking fuller, more swole if you will. That's nice. Now, for the workout:

Pec Deck - 3 working sets 60x14/70x14/80x14

I am hurting. My legs still hurt from yesterday and I can barely use my arms right now. That's what I call effective workouts. One more thing to note..and I know how it's going to sound, but I don't mean this in a dirty way. My gf told me I feel harder. She meant in my arms, chest and shoulders..not in little Howdy. I'm contemplating taking pictures each week for comparison. If I do, they'll be up in the next couple days.

It's part of the program. According to Yoda, doing the warm-up sets with stretches in between get's the blood flowing to the muscles and warms them up and makes the actual working sets more effective.
True, it does get the blood flowing and lubricates the joints but I don't think that many warm-up sets does it any more effectively then half that, plus once a body part is "warmed up" then I see little need in continuing warm-up sets for a different exercise with the same body part. Not trying to degrade you or the program, just offering my opinion. Regardless, it looks like I need to look more into this program to understand it better.
are you noticing the HGH dry out your joints at all?
No pain no gain!
Those are some nice numbers for that high volume capt  and here I thought you were not a beast without your shield!!...Now seriously WOW , it seems like I might have mistook Y3T for a noob program or bro science, but it does pose amazing results on you bro so far, keep it up brotheryou are doing GREAT!
That is a shít ton of volume!!!
Lots of volume in this Y3T training!

Nice capt thanks for letting me know you got it![]()
Your input is always welcome bro. You do make great points here, and I shall dispute none of them. There is probably a way to refine the program as it's laid out, but I'm not experienced enough to really tweak a program and still have it be truly effective..I don't think. I'm always up for suggestions on training, especially from someone who can put together a physique like you have. That's why I'm here, to learn how to use all these tools to be the best I can. Since I'm so inexperienced, I've just been doing the program the way it was laid out in the trainer.
No worries, if you're unfamiliar with it or just starting it then sometimes it's best to just go along with the prescribed program and then later incorporate your own personalized changes.
Good update. You aren't even a full week in right? That's quick for seeing results bro! This could get real interesting.
We wanted to name it Miracle-grow but the name was taken lol

So, I had another great night of sleep. When I woke up this morning, I felt great..aside from my sore muscles that is. On the schedule for today..REST. I love my workouts, but I love my rest days more..LOL. My muscles are definitely feeling fuller/harder. Did somebody put miracle-gro in my water bottle? LMAO. Tomorrow is back/biceps, bring it on.
