Do Big Muscles Attract Women

Just thought id put a post about big muscles and your experiences with women.

My understanding is that to be prime totty to the ladies, you need to be a bit bigger than your average joe plus have a six pack.

Anyone got any comments? I know this is a very general question and some women like them big and some don't, so lets take an 'on the whole' approach.
 
Imho, the phrase 'looks attract but personality keeps' rings true in this case. But to answer your question, yes, it's a turn on to see someone who takes care of themselves physically. And if I want a six pack I'll take a trip to the liquor store. :)

you cant get good looking women without attracting them first... there are a few fat to fit girls who dont care, but thats not the case for most. women get white knighted every day even when they shouldnt. if a girl goes to the gym for looks reasons, shes more likely to be shallow... and lets be real... most people go to the gym with superficial reasons being at least part of the overall motivation in going.
 
Don't think it matters.
Seen beautiful women date fat guys & vice versa. All about who the person is.... Personality and the way they treat one another trumps looks, cause when your 60+ probably won't look like you do now.... Just saying.
 
Lean, cut guys attract a ton more women then the huge giant bulky ones...more women going to pic the dude in the bow flex commercial or the dude on the cover of muscle mag with veins sticking out of his veins lol

Women l asked liked neither. They don't like big guys or lean ripped dudes. They want "normal" looking guys.

I can tell there is a negative connotation behind your remarks, and that because of my "stats" my opinion is somehow devalued in your eyes. I'll contrast that with the positives that I've experienced at AM thus far. I come here to learn from others, and the advice and support I've received from knowledgeable members has been invaluable. So thanks to the peeps out there who are more helpful than harmful.

And back to the ot...

Since my bf has been dropping, i have been getting much more attention, so certainly many of them enjoy seeing a man in good nick.

Whether they'll admit it, is another thing.

Ofc a lean physique attracts men and women, otherwise why all advertising techniques focus on lean models?

Being fit does help but that only part of the equation. Your attitude has a lot more to do with it than any amount of muscle you have. Being a confident, dominant, alpha male type that is a little out of shape will get you laid way more than an insecure, ripped/muscular guy. He (muscular guy) will get laid based purpely on his looks but the confident guy will win in the end. Thats my experience FWIW.

My stats don't allow me? Since when did you become "higher than thou" allowing what other people are and are not allowed to do? You ought to look up the word superficial, and try again.

Oh wow, calling me too heavy whilst being condescending all in one post. You probably feel better about yourself. Bravo. I don't see how I am being superficial at all. You are the one who pointed out my stats, and I responded, not at all attacking you. Did I mention anywhere in my post that I was a perfectly sized human being? No, I don't think so. And if I missed it, please do me the honor of pointing it out. If you disagree with my opinion that's fine. We are all entitled to our own opinions. The only thing I will agree with is that we are here to improve ourselves - mentally and physically.
 
I think it's a turnoff for most women...not that I care...I'm married! She's stuck.. .lol

not all the time, i know some fine women who have or are marrying fat bald guys, these were girls that everyone wanted growing up and they end up with weirdo's....who knows what girls think
 
6 pack = yes
big muscles = usually no (over 50%). While women will express being intimidated or turned off, it wont usually ever hurt too much. The biggest thing is convincing them you're not a drooling moron and that you wont tear them to pieces for no reason.
