I recently purchased all 5 Flavors (Vanilla Mint Swirl, Vanilla Cake Batter, Chocolate Truffle, Red Velvet Cake, & Strawberry Creamsicle) of Iforce's Protean after hearing and reading all the hype about this product!
This is my review, of all 5 flavors, based on my experience using it. Understanding that taste is subjective, this is how I rate the 5 flavors.
Mixability: All 5 flavors mix very well! I mixed each flavor in approximately 12 ozs of water. Very minimal shaking is needed to mix this product.
Vanilla Mint Swirl
Smell: The smell of mint really stood out to me. I thought that there would be a strong mint taste after smelling this flavor.
Taste: Well, I was wrong about the strong mint taste. The mint flavoring is just right! This tastes exactly like mint ice cream and I love it!
Rating: 9.25/10
Vanilla Cupcake Batter
Smell: Whoa, this has a strong cupcake batter smell! It smells like you're baking cupcakes.
Taste: This has a very good vanilla & cupcake batter flavoring to it. This is the first time I've had a cupcake batter flavored protein. This is also a very good flavored protein!

Protean Vanilla Cake Batter whole wheat pancakes with VCB Syrup!
Chocolate Truffle
Smell: The smell of this is very subtle. There is a slight chocolate smell to this and it's not a strong smell.
Taste: This is probably my least favorite flavor of the 5 although, it is still pretty good. It does have a slight truffle taste and if you do not like truffles, you will probably not enjoy this flavor.
Rating: 7.5/10
Red Velvet Cake
Smell: This smells exactly like Red Velvet Cake. I could actually identify a slight cream cheese smell in this flavor, and also, the cake smell.
Taste: The cream cheese icing taste hit me first, then the cake taste, then the sugary taste. I consider myself an EXPERT
in cream cheese icing because my favorite kind of cake is Carrot Cake.
I can't stand when someone doesn't know how to correctly make a cream cheese icing, lol.Rating: 9/10

Red Velvet Cake Protean Oatmeal
Strawberry Creamsicle
Smell: This flavor has the strawberry & cream smell to it.
Taste: This tastes just like Strawberries and cream to me. The taste is not overpowering, it's very refreshing!
Rating: 8.5/10
I enjoyed, and will continue to enjoy, all 5 flavors! I would buy this product again and again!
Believe the Hype! This is the real deal!!
Props to Iforce in coming up with 5 excellent flavors of protean!
