Glycobol (its growin' time!)

Karbolyn is rather pricey, I personally use oat powder, just throw some in a food processor and call it a day. What fast carb and slow carb do you prefer?

I actually don't use "slow carbs" haha, they cause too much bloating/discomfort with me. All white rice/white potatoes/red potatoes/gluten free pasta for me! :)

I bloat from most Carb sources, only ones i don't bloat from are oats, and some rices. I'm not big into weight gainers, but sometimes I have to use them as meal replacements. They all use maltodextrin and that stuffs bloats me so fast lol. Only one i don't bloat from so far is Up Your Mass by MHP. I will say that even though i haven't tried Glycobol, SlinSane was a life saver for me in terms of bloating. I'm sure Glycobol will do the same for you.

3/8/2012 Cardio, 45 mins, a mixture of high intensity/low intensity

***Notes***
-Doing the 2/2 dose today
-Making sure I get in around 2-3 cardio (high intensity/low intensity) sessions a week
-The most days ill train consecutively with intense weight training is 2 days, anymore than hat consecutively I feel starts tampering with my endocrine system. Bottom line, stay anabolic, not catabolic!
-Shortened up my range of motion on all my exercises like how IFBB Pro Jason Huh does, and ever since doing this, im "Actually" sore after my workouts.....YAY! (goodbye joint pain/issues!)

Shortened up your range of motion all ON THE EXERCISES? For me I think shorter range of motion is great for some exercises but not for all, Like shorter range of motion on squats?? That will be stupid.... What do you say?

Yup just about on all my exercises, what I mean by making my range of motion for a specific exercise shorter means taking majority of the stress off the joints/tendons and place it on the muscles. It takes months/years to learn how to do this correctly, oh and....if your able to use your typical heavy weight, your doing it wrong! I have to split my weights in half that what im accustomed to when training like a "bodybuilder". My myofibrillar-cns based workouts are all about heavy weight, locking out, strengthening up cns/connective tissue, etc...

3/9/2012 Chest workout (sarcoplasmic based)
-Flat Barbell Press
-Flat Dumbbell Flys
-Decline Barbell Press
-Incline Barbell Press
-Seated High Pec Deck upper pec focus
-Dips
How many sets did I do today? Hope you read this little note-paragraph! But I think it was around 20-25 sets. :) Time to grow baby!

***Notes***
-Workout was done within 35 mins, really with this style of training, my reps are around 10-15, once I start getting under 8 for a exercise, I move on to the next range of motion(meaning exercise) for the muscle.
- Once intensity starts to drop off even by a little, thats when I completely stop the workout and go recover.
-My internal/external hand movements are different on every exercise to ensure im lengthening and shortening the pec minor / pec major to its biomechanical standard.

-Trying the 2/2/2 Dose for Glycobol today

1 week of Glycobol so far!

What have I noticed?

-Better Mood
-Slightly fuller than usual muscles
-Appetite increased! (which NEVER HAPPENS FOR ME)
-If you have been following this log since day 1, you all know im just getting back into training/eating, so stay tuned!
-3/2/2012 weight was 205, ill weigh myself in a few days! (and keep in mind, I don't add excess fat / water to my body!)

**Update**
-3/2/12 I was 205
-3/10/12 (today) Im a little over 212
-Keep in mind I don't add excess fat/water, so yeah...my plans are working smoothly.

Awesome!

Oh and im just now really getting into my training/huge surplus in calories, stay tuned folks!

Good news brother, glycogen stores are filling up! Glycobol seems to be delivering, let the LBM numbers climb.....

Ughhh F You musclemilk, got some RTD's for post workout.....gut is f'ing BLOATED...going to be difficult to get in more meals today.....

Sitting here for the past few hours pounding greens/herbal tea's/magnesium so my gut can clear up and so I can resume my eating schedule....only if I could afford whey protein year round, my gut wouldn't be my enemy if that were the case!

Those type of foods also bloat me... I think I should also add in green salad and magnesium just like you...

Gonna rest up for 2-3 days let my body fully recover, I won't typically do this, its just because its my first week back and every muscle is ****ing sore :)

Gonna enjoy me a good Pizza tonight! Livin' the offseason to its fullest! :)

So for the past 2 months or so, pretty much took a break from the consistent eating/training. Dropped a ton of weight unintentionally, which is fine by me. Time to get things rollin'.

3/2/2012 Weight 205 pounds

Had a rough day yesterday, went out to go do some "activities" without any food, took almost 2 servings of a pre workout stim to get me through my actitivies, lol, was wired all day/night. So my sleep suffered, gonna let my adrenal's rest up and get the nutrients back in my system today, so no training.

Started the glycobol 3/2/2012, with a 1/1 split for the first day. Today I did the 2/2 split. 3/3/2012

*-Notes-*
-So far I noticed the glycobol 15 mins after digestion you do feel your heart racing slightly, which is actually an awesome feeling?
-My arms/delts are somewhat already vascular, lets see what my Glycobaby can do!
-2 days into it
-Only other supplements I take are the ones I rely on, Vitamins/Antioxdiants/Minerals/Fish Oils/Herbal Tea's.
-The way I structure my training/nutrition always delivers fast muscle growth/fat loss, only god knows what Glycobol will do for me. So many supplements out there, Glycobol seems to have the best blend for a nutrient partioner, and more positive reviews than negative, I am excited!

Glyocobol? Would u care to explain sir

Hey man... Using that Glycobol, Has your performance been improved in the gym (and outside the gym too)? if yes, how?

Glyocobol? Would u care to explain sir

This will basically sum up Glycobol (below)

Glycobol works, not like typical muscle gainers, but primarily by its ability to mimic and boost insulin.* On its own, insulin is a powerful growth peptide, but it also plays a critical role in the action of androgens. Just like insulin, androgens are another fundamental class of endocrine hormones. Studies suggest that androgens fail to sustain a positive muscle nitrogen balance in the absence of insulin, emphasizing the critical role of insulin as a potential limiting factor to the anabolic capacity of androgens. Therefore, Glycobol may be used to optimize and exaggerate gains by its essential synergistic contribution.*

Insulin also interacts synergistically with GH, IGF and thyroid hormones to compound growth effects, even when these endocrine co-factors are only present at average physiological levels. Therefore, Glycobol can be used to support impressive natural muscle gains and body recomposition as an effective stand-alone agent too.*

Glycobol:

Promotes muscle mass, strength and endurance.*
Encourages fat loss.*
Improves recovery time by rapid glycogen resynthesis.*
Provides lasting "pump", hardness and vascularity.*
Drives amino acid and creatine uptake into muscle.*
Promotes muscle protein synthesis and reduces breakdown.*
Optimizes nutrient utilization.*

Honestly that question should be asked after 2-3 weeks on Glycobol. Too early to tell right now.

But now that I think about it, my focus has been at its best ever since I started training again, maybe Glycobol has something to do with it?
:)

Well said!

Still recovering......layin' low......waiting for my time to strike......stay tuned folks.....

**Notes**
-Ill weigh myself every 7-8 days or so

How many grams of carbs are you taking per capsule of Glycobol?

How many grams of carbs are you taking per capsule of Glycobol?

Atleast 60, as high as 100+

Thanks for keeping up with the updates! Sorry ive been out of action for the last couple days, my first week back into training after a long break always takes me longer than usual to recover. Nice to see a huge jump in my weight in 1 week, I think its safe to say Glycobol is working. :)

Well Put Brother!

:)

I hope it has something to do with it... But I'll ask it again after about a week or soo. I'll stay on the read till I have anymore questions...

Per each capsule? So 2 caps n 120gr carbs?

Well directions say take 2 caps with a meal containing at least 50-100 grams of carbs, thats pretty much what I do. If I do a 1/1/1/1 split, ill just have 50-100g of carbs a meal, if I do the 2/2 split, I can handle around 200-250g per meal without any digestive issues. Though I DO NOT recommend eating 200-250g of carbs in 1 meal lol. Im just Superhuman. Just kidding haha. I <3 Glycobol!

3/13/12 Still recoverin'

Be prepared as my body will primed to make some supersized gains......

Stay tuned folks (most likely ill be ready 2morrow or thursday) After that, its full on, full force, ill only be having maybe 1-2 rest days a week. This recovery phase I like to take after a week of training after a long break ensures my body / endocrine system / cns / immune system is working at full force for long term gains.

Had to clear up some family issues yesterday and today, most likely getting back into it 2morrow, if not friday for sure! lol Don't worry, im comin' hard!

Man eating so much carbs and stay/feel lean is awesome! I <3 Glycobol!

Family comes first.... once you get that all settled your mind can be 100% focused on training and you will keep killing it! Even though you have been on point, the day or 2 off won't kill you (maybe mentally LOL)

Oh hell yeah, time to get back into it 2morrow!

Been doing the 1/1/1/1 dose

Lovin' the recomp effects!

Anyone lookin' to buy some Glycobol, DO IT. Theres rarely any supplements on the market that kicks in quickly. Here are some reviews on it by other people!

-Awesome workout!
-Doing the 1/2/1 split today for Glycobol!
-Muscles feeling full!!!!!
--Trained on a empty stomach today (only took my Glycobol / Carb/Electrolyte mix / Intense/Hemavol Stack (well I guess not really a empty stomach.....lol) (Just without any solid food) (To increase my neurological intention during training and increase hormone optimization)
-My sets and reps right now is basically instinctive, pump the muscle with as much blood without going to failure, and overloading my CNS with the greatest movements that fire the most Motor Neurons per bodypart, its growing time son!

I take my Hemovol fasted then start sipping on my True Protein MG's Powdered Muscle about 30~45min later and workouts are great man. I can only imagine with the glycobol thrown in there. My drink has 40 some grams of carbs too, hmmm.....

Lets grow! I'm bulking now too... up to about 218 (but I'm 6'3" ha)

We live one life, why not be huge! haha Right on brother!

Being around 220 muscular is a respectable feature regardless of anyone's height. (unless your like 7'0+ lol)

Right now ill be weight training every other day to ensure my endocrine system, immune system, adrenal glands are functioning optimally. Heavy intense weight training + Stimulants = Alot of stress on your bodies recovery abilities. I mean down the road, their will be times ill be training consecutively if everything is feeling right, im very instinctive about that. On my non weight training days ill be doing my cardio.

I want to make sure my body is fully recovered after every training session before I train again to ensure I keep taking steps foward instead of backwards.

3/17/12

So 2 weeks into Glycobol, heres what I noticed so far.....

-Muscles fuller than usual
-Pumps are much more fuller/intense than usual
-I haven't trained my quads in weeks and it seems like they have been growing ever since I started using Glycobol lol
-Gaining fat is no longer an option (so for all you guys looking to put some muscle on while keeping your vascularity/abs showing, this product is the real deal!)
-My appetite usually sucks.....FINALLY a product that enhances my appetite.
-My energy is up during the day, no 2 o'clock crashes anymore
-I rotate doses, 2/2 or the 1/1/1/1 or the 1/2/1 dose I feel all work the same. (15 mins before a meal)

I counted my remaining caps, I only got 1 more week left on it, so stay tuned folks! :)

Thanks AI Sports Nutrition / Jiggamanbill for this opportunity!

LOVE to hear this! No problem... glad you are so detailed on the log.... there are many things to be learned from this log. Keep up the stellar work!

How bout everyday ill have a "Tip of the Day"! I really want to make my logs very beneficial to everyone reading it.

3/17/12 TheHardOne's Tip of the Day! ***

***Anti-O's!!!*** Antioxidants have anti-inflammatory effects, which will benefit a bodybuilder/any athlete in general greatly, you will have a lesser chance of being sick, better digestion/overall health will benefited, when your overall health(immune system/adrenal glands/endocrine system) is "healthy" and where it needs to be to perform at its potential, muscular gains / fat loss goals will come alot faster aswell. Protein synthesis/insulin sensitivity will be greatly enhanced! Which is key for muscle growth / fat loss!***

very nice yes Glycobol, namely na-r-ala is a super potent anti-oxidant, one of the tops in my book , from my research until now. It helps me look younger imo and some would say fact

I remember something.... :)

Keep it comming bro.

3/18/12 Quads

-Leg Extensions
-Barbell Squats
-Leg Press

**Notes**
-Each set was pyramided up to my heaviest poundage around the 10-15 rep range
-MOTHA FU*K*N' PR!!!! Did a weight on my squats for 12 reps that I usually get 3-4 reps with, with constant tension aswell, no "rest pausing" like how most people squat because they are out of shape or going too heavy! Same with the leg press / leg extensions!
-Didn't need extra sets for a Sarcoplasmic effect, my quads were super pumped, skin stretching pump. With low volume? Yes sir, its growin' time!
-Was actually planning to do more sets / exercises, but I go by feel and what my CNS / Immune System is telling me, any signs of intensity drop off, any signs of my immune system getting tampered I stop the workout to ensure I grow short term and long term. (Learned that from Charles Poliquin!)
-Plus I already overloaded my CNS / muscles progressively and had a monster pump, id say it was a successfull workout towards my goals :)
