Expendables 2!

YEA BROTHA!! i cant wait for this one. My type of movie, muscles and explosions, mixed with a heap of baddass actors!!!
 
Great now we have to wait for the third movie. **** you Norris, first the Newt endursment and now this.
 
This movie will probably bomb and it's thanks to Chuck, I hope they make a third one in 2013 and tell Chuck to walk.

Aren't these movies supposed to be a callback to 80s action? You know back in the 80s when people weren't wimps lol. PG-13 action movies in teh 80s were few.

Yep, a lot of those 80's action movies would have never been made in the present day.... cause they were just so good :D

I'm with you.

I don't think an added string of F-bombs and more blood makes a movie any better. There's still gonna be tons of killing (just won't be shown as graphically, most likely) and they'll still be swearing (just less).

I certainly agree that it restricts it more and changes the feel, but I think you can still have a great movie with a PG 13 rating; it's all about execution.

Exactly. He's just trying to make a political statement, when all he should really be focusing on is spin kicks. (note to Norris, not everyone cares that you a think a slumber party with Newt and Romney, would be the coolest thing ever)

Haha, I'll agree with you. I loved the first one and I love tons of Arnold's (and the others') old action movies.

I guess I just find it disappointing that so much relies on extra swearing and sex when it doesn't benefit the plot lines. I loved the first season of Spartacus, but the last 2 haven't done as much for me (I blame that partially on Andy being an awesome actor and hard to follow). So much of the stuff out there has me feeling like I'm basically watching porn, instead, which is not what I want.

Don't mean to derail the thread any further :)

This will be one of the only other movies that I'll actually watch in the theater, this summer. I saw Avengers, will see this, and probably just TDKR.

Same here, it'll only be Avengers, Spider Man and Expendables that I get to the theater to see this summer. Throw Amazing Spider Man on your list. It's worth checking out on the big screen IMO.
