New E-pharm product: URSOBOLIC !

I've been following Invalid Link Removed for years. It is a phase shift type diet. You really only go into ketosis during the assessment phase and sometimes not even then depending on how you feel. The diet allows you to find you specific carb level so it is enough to help you lose the fat but at the same time not feel like crap. When I first went on it I stayed on for around 5 years straight. Went off for a while because of some personal issues which I can't remember but now I've been back on for almost 2 years now. I only noticed this new tiredness once I started taking the urso. It feels like I was "kicked back into ketosis". I feel the same way I did when I was in the assessment phase of the diet way back when. Also when I eat I feel better for a little while but it seems to depend on the size of the meal. The bigger the meal or the higher the calories the better I feel.

Yeah that's 45% carbs, 35% protein and 20% fats right?

Try bumping up the carbs just a little, a few grams at a time until you just feel not so tired. I have read other's accounts of Urso seeming to make them feel Hypoglycemic, I don't subscribe to the metabloic diet per say but that is pretty much the approach to dieting I've arrived at on my own after the Atkins diet. Just seeking the maximum carb level I can and not gain fat

Our research is primarily focused on the pathogenesis and treatment of skeletal muscle atrophy, a common and debilitating condition that lacks a pharmacologic therapy. We recently investigated how two prototypical causes of muscle atrophy (prolonged fasting and spinal cord injury) alter global mRNA expression in human skeletal muscle. Those data elucidated several novel potential mediators of human muscle atrophy, including the transcription factor ATF4. Using mouse models, we subsequently found that ATF4 is necessary and sufficient for skeletal muscle atrophy. We are now working to understand the upstream signaling mechanisms that regulate skeletal muscle ATF4 expression, the downstream mechanisms by which ATF4 causes atrophy, and whether inhibition of skeletal muscle ATF4 expression prevents and/or reverses age-related muscle atrophy (sarcopenia).
In addition to advancing our understanding of muscle atrophy, our human studies allowed us to search for a potential therapy for muscle atrophy. First, we used human data to generate unbiased mRNA expression signatures of muscle atrophy. Next, we used muscle atrophy signatures in conjunction with the Connectivity Map to identify ursolic acid (a natural compound enriched in apples) as a predicted inhibitor of atrophy-associated gene expression. Then, using mouse models, we found that ursolic acid reduced muscle atrophy and stimulated muscle hypertrophy. It did so by enhancing skeletal muscle insulin/IGF-I signaling, and inhibiting atrophy-associated skeletal muscle mRNA expression. Importantly, ursolic acid’s effects on muscle were accompanied by reductions in adiposity, fasting blood glucose and plasma cholesterol and triglycerides. These findings identify a potential therapy for muscleatrophy and perhaps other metabolic diseases, such as obesity and type 2 diabetes. Thus, we are now investigating whether ursolic acid might be a useful therapy for human patients.

I bolded the section on blood glucose levels. If ursobolic can lower fasting glucose levels, and if your glucose levels are lower due to a low carb diet, it stands to reason that ursobolic cold make you feel a bit Hypoglycemic

If it is that, I'm thinking things will eventually "stabilize"...Or I could just eat every 1-2 hours instead of about every 3, which I do now. Really I don't eat by the clock anymore I used to. Now I just eat when I'm hungry which is pretty much every couple hours anyway. I used to actually watch the clock and count 2 hours after my last bite of food so I could time it exactly and eat again.

every three should be fine, takes things a while to digest anyway. I still try to at least get some protein down every three hours. I want to make sure the old muscles have plenty of aminos to work with at all times

2487 total calories today. Now that is a big step up from 1600. Yesterday was 2001 total calories. I really don't want to let myself go. I gotta stick to a certain level and cut myself off so I don't gain fat.

I'm feeling better today but still really hungry. Just had my post-workout meal(1st meal of the day) and already I'm up to 884 calories. I'm really gonna have to watch myself for the rest of the day.

To me that ain't sh1t.
I take in 2300 Cals a day 600-800 is usually my breakfast ;)

That is still a lot. For you you would only have 1416 calories left. It all depends on how you look at it and where and what you want to "spend" your calories on.

I agree...
Ur lowering Cals too so maybe that's why.
Maybe u could have like 2 500-600 Cals meal and a 200 cal snack :)

Feeling dizzy two approximately 2 hours after my last meal. What is going on here?. Maybe I'm reading too much into this or Urso is really messing with my blood sugar. I'm gonna try and hold off at least another 45 min to an hour because I just took my Cabergolen supp and it is meant to be taken on an empty stomach.

I understand it's not ideal, but I was just reminding you it's an option if it keeps up for a long period of time. Good luck man.

Today it seems the opposite is starting to happen. Hardly hungry at all. Guess I'll see where this takes me. Dizzyness and super hunger completely gone...

Dizzy spells gone that's good super hungry??? Depend on how u look at it.
I have days like that too on & off.
Only think I heard it could is the use of 1,3 killing appetite...

Still would like to hear comments on my issues from PA.

what you are reporting is not something commonly heard from urso users

it could be something else, or a combination of factors in your diet or whatever

i havent a clue

Well today I'm feeling sick so it could have been that I was coming down with something and didn't realize it. I bet that is what it was. Hopefully this cold doesn't last long.

That happens to me I'll feel tired and drained a couple of days and wonder why, then become sick. It was just the body's initial fighting of the bug

Loving my juicer for fruits and veggies. I got it last week and I can't stop using it. Good health insurance right there.

I am not sure how hard it would be for you to get 7-Spray by Prototype Nutrition in Japan but it is a great immune booster. I haven't been sick once since I've been using it. Its great for PCT too, good Cortisol control

what brand of juicer? How easy is it to clean and how much waste is there?

It's a Breville. I got it for $100. It's pretty easy to clean as far as I'm concerned but I could see others feeling differently. What exactly do you mean by waste? Are you talking pulp left in the machine? There is a lot but thats what juicers do vs blending and keeping the roughage. I am going to use the pulp and start a compost for my next attempt at gardening. Pulp can also be added to muffins, sauces, burgers etc to thicken them up. Obviously certain stuff will work better in different applications.

I was just curious, I've always heard how much stuff you have to put in and how little you get out. My finances being what they are perhaps I had better stick with the V8

I've read you are getting the same nutritional value but without all the fiber. I actually enjoy v8 as well so I sometimes mix juiced carrots or something with v8. I'm also using a greens product I mix with my juice. I'm on a health kick right now lol and I'm loving it.

you ever try oximega greens by any chance? or is that the one you're using now? profile looks great.

Never tried it, but I hear it's good. I use Vibrant Health's Green Vibrance in my juice and their Rainbow Vibrance in my fruit smoothies. I highly recommend both but be warned they are a bit pricey.

if u used 7 spray regularly you would not get sick

Wow, that would be great! I should get some for the cold season :D
Yeah I've made it this far into cold and flu season while using 7 Spray and nada. Healthy as an ox

I'm super sick. Went to the doc in hopes of getting anti-biotics but he wouldn't give them to me and said the body has to fight it off naturally. Oh well. I'm taking a week off from training and hopefully I'll be able to get back into the gym next Monday or Tuesday. Maybe urso will keep me from losing strength and progress while I'm sick.....

Sorry to hear it bro, listen to the doc, rest and heal

definitely take it while you are sick.

get some rest

Today's calories - 2861. That is a ton of calories for sitting on your ass all day long. I've got to find another doctor. The only reason I have stuck with the same one for so long is because the office is within walking distance. I've stuck with the same office, not doctor, I've gone threw 3 that have quit since I've been going to this place. About 12 years I've been going to this place. My current doc won't really even listen to what I have to say, just my symptoms and then that is pretty much it. Doesn't ask me if I have any questions or not or anything.

Still fit in a large size T shirt but it is getting a bit tight. I've got to get back to the gym, it hasn't even been a full week off yet but I can feel a difference. Still sick though.

Hey guys I'm feeling better and went back to the gym on Monday. I'm still feeling extra hungry and if I don't eat enough or often enough I get the tired feeling I was talking about in my other posts in this thread. I didn't lose any strength when I went back into the gym on monday. In fact I gained a lot of strength. My weights and reps are up in almost all exercises. Still I'm getting sore and this new soreness coincides with when I started taking ursobolic. My pants are only slightly tighter around the waist and I'm up about five pounds on the scale. I think I'll follow this through and keep my calories up where they have been since starting the urso.

Thanks Aaron!. I'm not sure if this stuff helps with fat loss but I have seen an increase in strength. My calories are up though.

Strength is always a win!

I've kept most of the weight I've gained over the holidays but am leaning out despite that. I am on a pretty low carb regimen right now and I am working out like a beast now that I am basically injury free. I am definitely shedding fat while holding muscle

Restarting urso today with daa, agmatine and fadogia. Just finished 8 weeks erase/anabeta. Going for lean bulk!

Anybody ever have crazy dry mouth from daa/agmatine?? Omfg!

Abstract

Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is characterized by hyperplasia of prostatic stromal and epithelial cells, which can lead to lower urinary tract symptoms. The prevalence of BPH increases in an age-dependent manner. We investigated the protective effect of ursolic acid in BPH development using a testosterone-induced BPH rat model. BPH was induced in experimental groups by daily subcutaneous injections of testosterone propionate (TP), for a period of four weeks. Ursolic acid was administrated daily by oral gavage at a dose level of 5mg/kg during the four weeks of TP injections. Animals were sacrificed on the scheduled termination, before prostates were weighed and subjected to histopathological examination. TP and dihydrotestosterone (DHT) levels in the serum and prostate were also measured. BPH-induced animals displayed an increase in prostate weight with increased testosterone and DHT levels in both the serum and prostate. However, ursolic acid treatment resulted in significant reductions in prostate weight and testosterone and DHT levels in both the serum and prostate, compared with BPH-induced animals. Histopathological examination also showed that ursolic acid treatment suppressed TP-induced prostatic hyperplasia. These findings indicate that ursolic acid may effectively inhibit the development of BPH and it may be a useful agent in BPH treatment.
