Protein SCORE

My gym just changed ownership so they were blowing out their supps. Most were BSN & Muscletech which I dont want . . . but I did score 2 Monster Milk & 1 Muscle Milk for $10 each.

I buy both of these occasionally, mainly for the choc flavor, it is soooo yummy. I add 1 scoop to my scoop of generic protein. Just cant beat $5/lb for these products.

Not a bad pickup at all.

Muscletech protein... do not want lol.

One guy I see at the gym all the time swears by NitroTech . . . "I gained 5lbs off that stuff"

I stick with a basic CytoSport protein sold at Costco, $31 for 6lbs. If I splurge I go for the tasty Muscle Milk/Monster Milk products

muscletech makes protein? lol...prob full of gelatin ;)

they have some protein they sell by muscletech at Sams, 5 pounds for like $30 i think. i learned my lesson buying from walmart. 6 star protein gave me stomach cramps, i assume this would be on par

My wife was happy for my score, but her first question: did they have any fat burners?

I KNEW she would ask that. First she has to WORKOUT!!!! I bought her the AT-2/Shift stack to help her get motivated, but she still does not workout/cardio regularly. It just KILLS me that she thinks that she just needs pills, and blames me for not motivating her. I've fwd articles about motivation can only come from within, guess she cannot read :(

OMFG, my gf does the same thing. I got her some glycobol and shift and she wants fat burners but always has a new excuse when i want her to come to the gym with me!

I hear both of you guys my wife always has an excuse for not going. It's maddening I tell you she hasn't asked for supps yet though.

I always laugh at the muscletech ads, and the people that swear by them. Amazes me that SO many people have a fundamental lack of nutritional education to understand how weight gain/loss works; and how supplements actually play in to these goals.

I've always liked Muscle Milk. Pretty good flavor and you can randomly get them pretty cheap. Picked up some brownie batter and chocolate chip cookie dough Monster Milk a couple weeks back, very happy with the taste and profile.

My wife will go then quit, go then quit......she likes fat burners too..Hard to keep them consistent.

Maybe I will SPLURGE and get her some stims so she can be more efficient when she cleans house DAMNIT!

Yup, it is Cytosport "100% Whey" in a 6lb bag. It is 80% concentrate, 20% isolate in choc & vanilla. They also carry another Cytosport protein that is a lil more expensive.
