Super hard to get meals in with work sometimes....
I can usually manage 3 a day but it Puts me under my calorie intake.
I was thinking about Real Gains by Universal...
Wanted to get opinions on some Gainers out there and Real Gains...

The best gainers are those that you make yourself. If you want a recipe, let me know. If you want a dedicated product, I like Up Your Mass.

up your mass is awesome..

If you want a gainer....

Rice Dream Ice cream, liquid pasturized egg whites 8ounce , 3 scoops of protein, and 4-6 tablespoon nutbutter.

Awesome!

I know the home made ones are nice...
I'm mainly looking to keep one at work with a shaker and water to use... Some days I work 12 hours or odd hours....
So you guys seem to like Up Your Mass....
What's your thoughts on Real Gains?

Edit: Just read Up Your Mass Profile...
About 100 Calories lower than Real Gains and lower in fats and carbs as well....
But seems like it more natural sources correct?

You're looking at the profiles the wrong way, though you are right in that Real gains is cheaper. Forget the per-serving amounts. If you want more calories, just add more scoops. Look at the price per calorie: 0.37 cents per cal for Up your mass 5lber vs 0.31 cents per cal for Real Gains. The difference is the real gains' primary ingredient is maltodextrin, while Up your mass' is: MASS Load Carbohydrate Blend (Barley, Oats, Oat Fiber).

Up your mass uses soy protein among other sources, but unless you are pounding soy 100 grams at a time, you have nothing to worry about.

So Up Your Mass it is that's what I brought :)

Think u missed what I said...
Didn't care about price I said profile in up your mass looks a bit more solid.

Up your mass like mentioned really is a good supplement and I am a fan of the company as well.

Any1 care to post up some recepies as well for use in the future?

Macaroni salad with bacon and tomatoes. It's cold so u can eat it without microwaving. I can make a batch for 5 bucks. Fat from mayo protein from bacon carbs from pasta. Tomatoes for the prostate lol! Good stuff a staple for my work snacks. Just need a fridge.

The simplest recipe that I use if I absolutely have no time is:

Whole Milk
Oats
Banana
Protein Powder (xf ultra peptide vanilla makes it taste like a banana milkshake, but anything will do)
Peanut Butter

Blend.

I eat food :D. I almost never consume shakes man. You can ALWAYS hit your calorie needs through food, you just have to up the caloric density.

Peanut Butter...

It's hard working 12 hours and dealing with people... Can exactly be shoveling something into my mouth and trying to sell....

Believe me I know. I sometimes have my first meal at 9 PM at night. Just hit your overall calorie/macronutrient targets.

Coop, what's your schedule like?

If u r eating your first meal at 9pm how many meals are having and what do you usually eat? How many meals? U work during the days?
Just trying to get an idea or how ur nutrition is set up and if you're crunched for time.

Damn 9pm wow :)

i thought i was bad on burn days but that takes the cake!

I toyed around with a diet called "Eat. Stop. Eat." well before leangains became popular. You literally fasted for a 24 hour period once per week, and then ate a normal diet the rest of the week, and still lost weight. It worked. And by putting the fasting day strategically on a non-training day with no training the following day either, I maintained a ton of strength.

I like real gains also.

I'd do
2 scoops whey
2 Tbsp PB
Banana
Milk
More fruit (if you wish)
2 eggs (yeah, I like raw eggs)
Ice
=
Wonderful.

What's the homemade gainer recipe.

LOL, what I meant was no food for 24 hours, and eating at maintenance all other days. I never felt hungry which made cutting far easier, psychologically.

I have tons of homemade gainer recipes. I posted an idea on the previous page, but an old favorite is:

2 cups whole milk
2 Scoops Ultra Peptide 2.0 Strawberry
3 tbsp Peanut Butter
1 Large Banana
1 cup oats
Ice

All blended. Make sure your blender is large. And have a big cup ready. It becomes a Peanut Butter Strawberry Banana Cream Smoothie.

Thx.
Yeah no food for 24 hours seems rough.

Anyhow that's what you meant by eating at 9pm sometimes because that was the end of your 24hour fast so to speak?

Do you remember what your weight loss goals were and how many weeks it took to achieve using that diet?

No, I only did that program for like a month haha. The 9 PM thing was just because when I get busy I forget to eat :D.

I typically cut for 8-12 weeks...anything longer and muscle loss becomes an issue.
