6 week h drol cycle log (1st cycle)

Hey everyone, Going to use this to log my 6 week h drol cycle. I will be starting on october 24th. starting one week prior to that I will be preloading hawthorn berry and milk thistle. I will run the cycle 50/75/75/75/75/75 and use MT and HB during the cycle and pct. So far for pct I have nolva 20/20/10/10 and activate xtreme 4 caps per day and I may add DAA as well. I am going to start by logging my whole week of lifts the week prior to the cycle so everyone can see where I am at pre cycle. I hope to gain 10 lbs and have some consistent strength gains. I use a bulk version of "xtend" throughout my workouts. Basically I buy the bulk products such as bcaa, glutamine, b6, and citrulline malate and just use a food scale to dose them every workout. I usually use a pre workout but will probably get rid of that for during the cycle. Might use it for the first week of the cycle just because I do not think the h drol will kick in that fast. Today I am going to do a chest workout so I shall post back with that workout in a few hours. Suggestions and comments are appreciated through this cycle I want to make it a successful one.
 
Good luck man, I'm following! I loved Hdrol. All your supps look good, and I would definitely suggest adding the DAA post cycle for some instant recovery, will help you keep as much as possible.

Thanks man I am excited to start. I will deff add the daa to pct I dont see any reason not to Ive had it waiting in my drawer for a few months hah.
 
some more stats for everyone... I am 9% bf and slightly over 200 lbs. I do not max my weights but I can tell you all my heaviest workout sets..

My best working sets on squats was 265 6, 265 8, 275 8
On bench so far best working sets have been 225 6, 6, 6
I am very arm oriented and have been able to curl 135 5 times..but my last workout I stuck to 115 6, 5, 5
my last shoulder workout did db shoulder press 85s 9, 90s 7, 90s 6
I hope to improve upon all of these numbers this cycle
 
Just got back from my chest workout solid overall. My triceps were still killing me from my shoulder, tris, and bis workout that I had three days ago so that slightly hurt my bench..

Flat bb bench:
135 8
185 2
205 2
225 8, 6, 4 (the last set sucked because my left tricep literally cramped, i also had slight help on the last rep of each set)

Incline db bench:
50s 8
75s 3
90s 9, 6, 6 (slight help on last reps, no help needed getting weight up)

Decline bb bench:
135 8
185 8
195 8
205 7 (help on last rep)

2 sets cable flies angled down 12 reps each set
2 sets cable flies angled up 12 reps each set

3 sets weighted sit ups 15 reps each set w/ 35 lb weight

Solid numbers for me overall felt good throughout the workout. I have been focusing on my bulking diet trying to get it down before I start my first dose in 7 days.
 
Today is an off day. Measured my arms cold for pre values. Left arm is 16 in. flexed right arm 15.5 in. flexed. How are they .5 in off but they are the same strength? I always workout symmetrically they don't look that much different but a tape measurer doesn't lie.

.5" circumference isn't a noticeable difference, don't sweat it, just keep pushing. Best thing to do is not measure again til PCT so it doesn't ruin your focus.

Yeah you are right I wouldn't have known had I not measured. I will actually be starting my first day of h drol tomorrow. It works out this way better for my pct. Tomorrow is shoulders/bis/tris. I am sure I won't feel anything but gota love a good placebo effect haha

On bench I haven't gone up much because my chest development was always above the rest of my body so I gave that a rest. But for the rest of my body I had PRs! Had PRs on squats especially. But I've been off of anabeta for about 45 days and I'm deff ready for a diff kind of "boost".

My elbows really started to hurt half way through. I take 4 g fish oil per day anyone see a benefit to taking a higher dose?

I was mentally exhausted going into this workout so I was actually surprised with the result.
 
Also was good to hear today a friend of mine said I looked bigger than 3 weeks ago (pretty much when I started my bulking diet). I guess I am doing something right! And my shoulders feel huge today.. good stuff.

Trying man, wana get to those three plates! lol. Why do I hear a lot of people saying h drol does not "kick in" till week 3? You are putting an exogenous hormone into your body which should immediately start to increase protein synthesis, increase glycogen storage, etc. Shouldn't effects be felt within the first week?

Certainly there will be effects that are "felt" within the first week, but it seems the case is people don't notice the weight increases until after week 2. Could be the long half life? I wish I could divulge further into this, but all I can say is the rumors are true...

Interesting. Regardless I increased 3 lbs in two weeks before I even started this cycle so I am sure I will see weight gain during the first few weeks just because of my new fondness for food ;). Though I am sure during the 3rd and 4th week these gains might be increased even more (that would be nice) since that is what people have reported.

Gotcha...Yea chest is usually the most developed in most cases. But good to hear u set PRs on the rest....
 
Hdrol does start to work but its not at its full potential till around week 2 or 3...It is working though through weeks 1 and 2..

Today is a rest day. Chest tomorrow will post after the workout. My body is deff getting used to my bulking diet. I have noticed more hunger when I wait any more than 3 hours to eat another meal.

Felt pretty good I was surprised with the slight increases I had this week. I feel like something is kicking in I am not sure if I should attribute it to my bulking diet for the past few weeks or the h drol. Time will tell.

Tomorrow is day 5 (50 mg) and a rest day. I will post back Monday on day 6 with my back workout and updated weight.

Felt pretty drained today I barely got any sleep last night. I am up a few lbs since I started but I do not really "feel" the h drol yet. I feel a little more pumped but that is all. Tomorrow I will increase to 75 mg so hopefully I will start to get the strength gains next week.
 
Get some straps for ur shrugs and lat pull downs...I haven't get them but im in the process of getting a pair. Helps with them hard to hold weights....

I could barely move my arms after this workout I was so pumped. H-drol is deff kicking in no doubt about it. Crazy how its only day 8 and my scale says I've already gained 5 lbs.. I'm sure some is glycogen but I have never felt this big before in my life.

Yea i always have that problem as well with the grip. It gets me mad that i do a certain weight and because of the grip it limits me...I def need to get a pair myself..Maybe this weekend for sure

For me I saw strength and weight gains in week one and two, but in week three they went up much more. I'm at the end of week 4, and currently up 16 lbs.

That's great hopefully my results will be similar in terms of weight gain. Mind if I ask what your weekly workout split looks like?

(repeated the last super set for two more sets for a total of 3 at 150 lbs/20lbs)

Felt strong overall besides the set on squats that got destroyed. I didn't realize I would be able to increase so fast on everything this is only week 2. My goals for squatting was 315 for each of the 3 sets at least 6 times at the end of the cycle. Based on this progress that will be easily met.

Thanks man. It looks like next week will be the time I break most of my PRs based on the past two weeks of progress. Any suggestions for helping with lethargy Ive been feeling the past few days? I heard DHEA can help but is that going to hinder gains since it increases estrogen?

Thanks man appreciate it. I decided on hdrol over SD because I hear the gains on SD are harder to maintain plus it is a lot more harsh on the body. I'm all about long term gains and I've read a lot of success maintaining after h drol. Plus it's my first I don't want to **** myself over.
