i've been told i don't really need a ai for this cycle, i know erase is and that it also helps suppress cortisol thats why i'm looking at it.

what do you think?
 
i was also thinking to try high doses of vitamin c for cortisol control. seems a few people are saying it works, it would save me some money as well

Erase and vitamin c would more than cover your cortisol control.

I wanna see how 8 caps treats you
 
I like that you went with a lower dose of Nolva. I think most use too high of a dose and that's partially why they get the negative side effects.
 
if i take nolva at a higher dose or longer i think it lowers my immune system. i've gotten nasty colds or the flu if i run it longer or at a higher dose
 
started today. 4 caps @ 6am and 4 @3:30. should i spread them out more. the box says 6-8 hours between doses. ate like a horse and am about to go consume massive amounts of all u can eat crab legs. workout was good, shoulders and arms. was only able to work out for an hour and 10 min due to an appt. chest and abs tomorrow. i have high hopes for this cycle. the only negative thing i noticed was very minor nausea and i think i was sweating more than normal. starting weight was 184.

That dosing is fine.
 
Ya the dosing id fine, if you have issues dose three times a day 3/3/2
no problems. appetite is way more than normal, not that i'm complaining. protein shake/w milk, 3 h.b. eggs, 1 can tuna, 2 cups cottage cheese in spread out in the am. 2 chicken thighs, 1 bratwurst, some ground turkey w/ pasta and veggies, 1 qt milk for lunch. tonight will probably be some chicken, rice, 1 can tuna and a protein shake with milk. i'll also have milk with my dinner. i usually have a hard time eating like this on cycle. last night i ate piles of crab legs and shrimp at a place that is all you can eat. it was awesome. i'm going to take a nap then it's chest and abs. tomorrow a couple hours snorkeling in the 'ol ocean some cardio then legs or back later depending on how tired my legs are from the swim. i think this is going to be a lot of fun
 
i'd have a hell of a time giving up the dairy. i eat a lot of feta and drink a lot of milk. everything else sounds doable. do you cut out all salt? brats have quite a bit. i've only heard of that diet recently

I don't do the 100% strict, dogmatic Paleo. To me, I define it more along the lines of what it's about instead of being overly anal.

cool. wow, i'm hijacking my own thread. i'd love to see your diet plan if you have one. i guess i'm fairly close except for the pasta, and dairy and very occasional pita bread

I allow myself to have some dairy (e.g. whey protein, Greek yogurt, cheese) bc I don't get congested from them.

Meal 1
5 eggs
4 oz ground beef
1-2 servings fruit

Meal 2
Smoothie
12 oz Almond or Coconut milk
1 Tbsp EVOO
1 scoop protein powder
1 C Frozen fruit
2-3 handfuls Baby Spinach

Meal 3
12 oz Chicken Thighs
2C Broccoli
1 Roma tomato
6 oz Greek Yogurt

Meal 4
8-10 oz ground beef
1 oz Cheese
8-10 oz Red Potatoes
Spinach Salad

Meal 5
Varies depending on hunger
 
that's actually fairly close to what i eat. i don't really have set meals though. i do eat bfast lunch and dinner but i eat constantly thru the day. i use nothing but olive oil when i use oil. you can buy it for $12 a gallon @ the arabic stores out here. i do throw some butter in the veggies sometimes and some salt because i like it. don't eat much yogurt but eat a lot of cottage cheese.

I used to only use EVOO, but I much prefer Extra Virgin Coconut Oil now. A little more expensive, but the tase is much better and I like the MCTs.

This is a nice paleo/primal diet outline man. Rodja you are my hero haha. I need to get as strong as you.

Everyone needs to have several goals and continue to grow or they will feel stagnant. I had this badly when I was in my early 20's and it took me years to understand why I felt the way that I did.

Yea, training with no purpose was a lost of a year of progress and about 2 years loss in gains. Never again.

You ever use MCT's in place of carbs/protein for quick energy?
 
day 4 today. no negative sides. did back at the gym today. i weighed myself and i was 190. different gym different scale. i know there is no way i gained 6 lbs. some is probably water weight and some is probably due to the extra food intake. i do sweat a lot more than normal and don't seem to fatigue as quickly. too soon to tell anything yet. going to grill some chicken and turkey burgers in a few. i'm starving

Most of it is probably due to water and glycogen retention, but it's a great sign for your run.

what only 9 pounds? I was expecting 12 at this point... disappointing...

193. i am definitely gaining some water weight. i'm a bit bloated. i do feel it though, i'm feeling stronger, not getting fatigued as quickly lifting. there is more muscle hardness for sure. the only negative sides seem to be sweating more than normal, maybe a bit of drop in libido and some lethargy in the midday. the last has only been for the last couple days so i'm not even sure if it's the a.m.

The bloat helps, though. Keeps your joints lubricated and lets you push more weight.

awesome. i feel stronger and a bit more aggressive. sounds stupid but we had a company picnic and bbq'd and had some games. one was tug of war and we killed the other teams every time. it wasn't just me by any means but the aggression and stamina was there for sure. day off from the gym today.
 
This is part of the reason that PL'ers carry a higher BF%.
thats kind of how i get when i cycle. i get abs but they push out and make me look bloated. i have a very hard time getting ripped but i can pack on muscle weight easily. i've only ran 6 cycles. my first was h-drol and i put on 18lbs. only kept about 13. i seem to respond very well to the ph's i have ran

I carb load before my ME lower session, but I try to eat cleanly all the other times. I like the extra abdominal pressure that the bloat creates while doing a ME squat or pull.
 
I've been cutting lately, and I just started adding in some more carbs and switching out most of my fats for virgin coconut oil... it's doing wonders for me, still getting lean but fat seems to be coming off a bit faster.

I'm of the school of thought that fats should always be the primary source of calories for the body.
