Allmax Iso femme for guys? What could it hurt?

I like to mix a good, quality isolate in my fruit smoothies to get the extra protein in and steady energy levels (already using greek yogurt and skim milk). I can get a couple of tubs of iso femme for 15 bucks. Never tried it before and the profile looks solid (not ion-exchanged and high protein per serving). My question is this: the product is obviously marketed/directed for women because of its low calories and such, as well as it not having "estrogenic proteins" (which is kinda weird/bs in my opinion), but what is keeping this from being a protein for guys to take? It looks like the same thing as isoflex, but in a different tub/flavors. So what gives?

It seems that it just may be some kind of marketing objective. I have not looked at the label, but must women do not like the idea of taking anything "manly" in the sense that they also might become manly. Do to the different nutrient requirements from men and women im sure it just has lower calories.

Estrogenic protein is not BS, it refers to soy. Women with or who had breast cancer are directed not to eat anything containing soy (among many other things). I know because I saw my aunt's list of what not to eat after she survived BC.

The Protein your talking about (on sale on a site right?) is fine for men. It's just isolate with a girly label...

I would take it if it tastes good and at a great price. I love bargains, when I see slim fast on sale I buy em all.

haha. Nice! I'm all about bargains, too, my friend. And for all the crap GNC gets (and rightfully so in a lot of cases), you can get some ridiculously good deals on stuff that is going out of date, especially if you have a gold card.

I figured that was the deal; most "female" proteins are basically the same as anything a guy would take, just lower calories and such. But for an isolate, it looks like an awesome profile, almost the same as isoflex.

I didn't mean the estrogenic protein was BS in the sense that it wasn't true or anything like that, just that soy is pretty much the only non-estrogenic protein, and they could just as easily put "no soy" on the container instead. I dunno, just seems odd. Awesome for your aunt, though!! =D Next time you see her, give her a hug for me. Always good to see a survivor. I'll buy some iso femme for her!

And yes, the protein is on sale. 8 bucks for a jug of 14 servings. So two jugs, plus shipping, brings it to around 23 for 28 servings. Good deal for an allmax isolate if you ask me.
