E/C Stack and P90x?

When I am done with my current stack I am contemplating trying out an EC stack for 4 weeks, but Im doing P90x and Ive read where it says to stay away from HIIT while on EC stack. The plymometrics workout is pretty intense and really gets the heart pumping. Even the weight workouts are fast paced. Has anyone done an EC stack while doing P90x?

I was considering 100mg caffeine + 12mg ephedrine 2x a day on days I have a workout because I still like my Assault preworkout. That will give me 350mg a day total caffeine.

On days I dont have a workout I would take it 3x a day.

I am 5 days on, with 2 rest days in between ( I dont do the yoga)

Any suggestions?

I've never done P90x, but I do a lot of HIIT and INTENSE training and I personally have no issues using the stack (and then some) that you laid out. In the end, whether you do this is up to you - only you know your body well enough to know whether or not it is a smart idea for you. If it's not an ideal stack for your body, then just stick to the Assault.

Whether the Plyo workout will be too much for an EC stack for you will depend upon how high your heart rate goes and your recovery. If you have a heart rate monitor try the workout without EC and see how high your heart rate goes.

I use the Insanity workout for my HIIT cardio and only ever took an ECA stack once as a pre-workout and that was enough for me. My heart rate normally gets into the late 160's/early 170's during the workout but comes back down the mid-150's after the 30 second break that the workout has. When using the ECA stack my heart rate went up to the early 170's (as normal) but even after the 30 second break my heart rate was still in the late 160's. It took about 2 minutes to get back into the early 150's. After that I just stick to caffeine based pre-workouts before HIIT cardio.
