Quitting the cancer sticks. .

Yeah I had quit smoking this year. Its a smart move. I will say i used something else to smoke on the weekends to even it out. :afro:

^So true :18:

I quit smoking for two weeks and then my girlfriend started aggravating me to where I started back. Its not a matter of how hard it is because its not hard to quit, its the temptation to do whats not there anymore thats the hard part. Its so easy to fall back into the habit and thats my problem.

Oh and Ive been smoking black and milds so I feel like i've got a better chance at getting some type of cancer if I dont quit soon.

Tomorrow is 6 mos tobacco free for me!! Google mouth cancer and click images if you need help quitting.

I smoked forever it seems, and dipped for prolly 5 years after....

Anyway, I now know smokers smell like welfare people. So think about that, too, no matter how nice your dressed up, most people think you smell like sh!t and are probably homeless, LOL....

But definately quit well before or after your cycle.....the irritation will prolly be too much....for others, mainly.

Ya, I've been smoking for 15 years already, so it really is a very hard habit to break. And I second everyone else's opinion on smoking other things instead of cigarettes, except I have found I CANNOT do that at school!!! Oh boy, that is just one ****ed up day waiting to happen! :D

I've never done crack--but i personally think that the additives in commercial-brand cigs are the most addictive thing there is, big-tobacco wants you totally, and utterly hooked on there products. KICK THE HABIT!!

Well, I have actually done about every drug out there (even meth and crack for about a year consecutively---very dark times in my early teen years), and I can personally attest that cigarettes were there long before, and long after, those ventures began/ended. Nicotine is by FAR more addictive than any drug I've tried, but only for the habit aspect. Meth is far more addicting as far as physical effects go. I think of it like this: Smokers tend to smoke in the car while it's warming up, when they start going after it's warm, when they get where they're going, when they get on the phone, after eating, after ****ting, after smoking other things, and on and on. And, if they don't have cigarettes, they will go to great lengths to get cigarettes before doing any of those things. However, this just doesn't apply to other mind-altering substances (very few people smoke crack when they get on the phone :D), so they don't have the habit aspect (which for me is the HARDEST thing to deal with). I've been addicted to MANY different substances, and withdrawals suck, but it's only physical pain. Mental turmoil and not knowing what to do with yourself is so much harder to deal with in my opinion!

ahhh the infamous AGC, the after grub cigarette

i quit september 10th 2010... i used patches...

i quit smoking the day i started pct (so i could eat more and keep gains)

LOL i gained 5 lbs in pct....

quitting smoking is very difficult to do, but just keep at it...

pointers:

1. every time you want a cigarette, eat a peice of chicken
2. drink tons of water and have plenty of fiber (maybe consider some sort of detox)
3. sweat... get those toxins out

I noticed after workouts a really wanted a pinch of chew.....after I did quit I had cigarette cravings, which was weird.

Some good ole Trident Layers gum got me through, though, LOL....
