What's the best time to do Cardio ? Little Muscle Loss

The best time to do cardio that you don't really burn muscle ?

I take a protein shake right after my workout, should I take that after workout, and do cardio and take my shake or take my shake and do cardio?

I do it whenever I have time usually after weights... I drink a shake (50 grams protein and 50 grams carbs) b4 hitting the treadmill. On off days, if I do cardio I eat a hour b4 then drink 10-14 grams of bcaas during

I usually do in morning for overall best fat loss, if you want to limit the fatloss i guess the best would be to do it non fasted im not exactly sure. Try out different times throughout the day and find out how your body responds to them, cause everyone reacts differently to exercise.

after workout or fasted in morning with BCAAs

BCAAs can be counter productive. What you ideally want to do is increase catecholamine activity as it turns fat into an energy substrate. People tend to needlessly worry about muscle glycogen depletion. It's easily replenished afterwards and is of marginal concern. Once glycogen is depleted the body can oxidize free fatty acids and that's where increased catecholamine activity becomes important and why EC is commonly used. As long as you keep your cardio aerobic and low intensity you should be fine. Once you start pushing into the anaerobic environment you will quickly burn through muscle glycogen and start depleting the amino pool in your muscles which is what you want to avoid.

BCaa's alone raise insulin hardly and spare muscle, especially when dieting. They are a must for pre-contest in my opinion and many other highly respected competitors that compete.

Pre contest dieting and someone looking to drop bodyfat aren't quite the same endeavor.
