2010 College Football Season

ESPN is to Brett Farve and Boise State as Anabolic Minds college football forum is to Cam Newton and the Scum infested SEC.

What I can't figure is why would Auburn NOT play Cam???

If it turns out he was like his moron Dad and did something wrong, Auburn would lose 80% of the season anyway. So what's another 3 games?? And if he is clean and they don't play him, Auburn could lose on the field. (Plus he looks guilty sitting and not playing anyway).

So what's the upside for Auburn not to play Cam??? Forfeiting 10 games instead of 12??

Completely agree. They made their beds a long time ago. "All in." Everyone knows the Newtons got paid to come to AU. Cecil knew. Cam knew. The FBI will eventually find the money, but right now they're still investigating the MSU side of things. The NCAA is not a court of law, so they make decisions based on circumstantial evidence. The circumstances for AU suck. However, this process will take a l-o-n-g time, and meanwhile Auburn's gonna try to at least win another "People's Championship." Jacobs will find his "maverick booster" to throw under the bus in the coming weeks/months.

You post this clip every year and every year I say it shows a lot about you that you take such pride in your fellow Penn St fans acting like complete retarded assh*les.

the Scum infested SEC.

After you post the above clip reveling in your own fanbase's asinine antics it's sort of ironic to then immediately post a comment about someone else being scum. :crackhead:

Buckeyes by 24! GO BUCKS!

Comon now.. "Peoples Championship" ??? No Alabama fan is EVER allowed to make a comment like that.

Was it really necessary for Wisconsin to be throwing the ball in 2nd half... and to hang 83 on Indiana?

C'mon now.

Wisconsin is really starting to develop a rep for doing this sort of thing, like the incident with Minnesota going for 2 points up like 40 points. It was embarrassing to watch them throwing deep passes late in a game they were winning by 40 + points. Is Wisconsin trying to impress voters? If Iowa beats Ohio State next week and Sparty wins out, which is likely, then Sparty gets the BCS bid for the Big Ten regardless of how many points Wisconsin scores on a sh!tty Indiana team missing their best player. What a joke!

Why not? Pretty sure there were no banners to hang in 1993 and 2004. Just the one from 1957... when AU was on probation and couldn't play in the post-season.

Dude, all jokes and slams aside... you better pray to Cecil's God they're never able to trace the money exchanged between AU and Papa Newton. Winning a tainted championship won't be worth the beating your program will take in the long run.

And don't insult my intelligence with that "Cecil had a change of heart when it came to Auburn... and Cam didn't know anything" rubbish. We both know they bought him. For the sake of your mental health, I hope they utilized a few brain cells in the dispersing of funds.

Wow! I knew we were over-rated but we are making a mediocre Penn St team look like national championship contenders. I'm dreading the next 2 weeks Iowa will destroy us in Iowa city and no way can this defense contain Robinson. Season = :Flush:

Wrong team. Penn St by 24.

Hey 4th quarter here. Not to get involved in your Big 10 rivalries but I have seen two (2) KEY plays where PSU receivers were OBVVIOUSLY interfered with and the officials let it go. What homer officiating! Hell, the one OSU defender facemasked the PSU receiver! Unbelievably Herbstreit, watching the replay that even underscored the interference, commented on what a good defensive play it was! I like Herbstreit but should an OSU alum really be the color guy at an OSU game??? At least Daniels and Lundquist (the best in the game IMO) call bad SEC calls for what they are. Bad calls.

I'm just asking.

Anyway, this season's mediocre record may only hasten JoePa's retirement which is ultimately a very good thing for PSU. Watch out when Golden gets this team.

FULL DISCLOSURE: I am a PSU fan secondary to Gators but these calls literally changed the momentum of the game IMO and that's too bad. It was a good game played by two equally good teams and bad officiating can really be a huge impact.

rubberring -- You insult your own intelligence by not acknowledging that EVERY good player in college football gets paid in some sort of fashion. Yes, that includes the Crimson Tide players too. If you'd like to go watch Dre Kirkpatrick (who is from the POOREST area of Alabama) drive down the road in his new Dodge Charger on 28's, you are welcome to come to Alabama and we'll go.

well ..i knew it!!!!!!!!!!!!! that 14-3 halftime lead is gone and Mcgloin choked under pressure...2 pick 6's....C'mon!!!! When it was 14-3 my wife asked why Im not jumpin for joy!!???.....I said " Its Ohio St and I see them rippin' it up in the 2nd half".

With that said....This penn state team is very young....the next 3 seasons look very promising.

:haha::lol::18::laugh2::laugh::haha: Don't make me laugh the refs have had no effect on the outcome of this game. the defense finally showed up. If they wait until the 2nd half to play next week against Iowa it will be loss for sure. Give me a break on the refs thing this game should never have been a contest shame on my Buckeyes for letting this dog have it's day. The refs! hahahaha good one OG.

What is so great about Iowa? Northwestern beat them today??:damnit:

Dude that's the same you tube video! I can honestly say I don't want my fellow Buckeyes acting like that and I would say so if I were there and that sort thing were going on. It's classless, sports doesn't give anyone the right to act like an idiots and attack people.

Iowa is still a good team for whatever reason Northwestern owns them. If Ohio State starts out like they did today they will get beat.

YOU'VE BEEN PUNKED!!!

Just a little tweak for your SEC Scumbag comment : )
Good game.

GO GATORS!!!!

Good game.

I was kidding! I couldn't help myself, I tried hard to resist but it was just too much for me. I agree with rub we all know these guys at major programs get a little something extra it's just so out there with the Newton situation I had to chime in. I would be remiss if I didn't.

BTW, your confidence in your team was a little suspect earlier in the game I see!!

It always is! The truth is I don't think we're that good this year, take away the defensive stats against all the terrible MAC teams we've played this year and things look a little different statistically speaking. We did look pretty good against Penn St in the 2nd though, then again Penn St sucks. I heard the news today that Pryor was definitely coming back for his senior season and I thought "great another year of inconsistent effort".

HELLO SEC CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!!!!!!!!

And thank you announcers for telling rubberring what he has been missing the entire time -- THERE IS OBVIOUSLY INFORMATION THAT SHOWS NEWTONS BEING CLEAR OF ALL ALLEGATIONS THAT HAS NOT BEEN RELEASED TO THE PUBLIC OR HE WOULD NOT OF BEEN PLAYING THIS ENTIRE TIME.

WAR EAGLE!!

idk about that. I tend to agree that the is little to risk at this point for Auburn if Newton is ineligible it means the difference between forfeiting 10 wins and 12 really negligible difference if you think about it.

Unfortunaetly for your theory, they've known the facts since before he was even the starting QB at Auburn. Just because it wasn't released to the news world doesn't mean it wasn't in the SEC/NCAA/Auburn Compliance offices this entire season.

War Eagle.

Looking at it from an outsiders perspective it seems like he most likely received a better offer from Auburn but I suppose it's POSSIBLE his recruitment to Auburn was completely legit but that seems very unlikely. Only time will tell I suppose but the NCAA is slow to move on these things just see the USC and Reggie Bush fiasco as an example, they had that info long before the season started as well.

Im too lazy to go back and look but whoever said Oregon would spank Auburn.... really?

In a tiiiight game against a terrible cal team playing with its backup QB? Give me a break.

"SHHH, don't tell anyone -- I'm really the most over-rated running back this country has ever seen."

19 carries for 52 yards.. AGAIN .. But if he had 40 carries I'm guessing he would of ran for 329 yards because the D would of been tired of stopping him for 2.7 yards every carry and would of started letting him take it to the house every run.

Missed all the games today due to working a 16 hour shift. I kept getting updates on the MI game though. We've shown a lot of things this season. Today, we showed that our O sucks bawlz in the rain & the D loves the rain.. I know it was Purdue, but our D hasn't played that tough all season long.

I think the team did enough this year to save Rich Rod's job. I know a lot of Michigan fans and almost to a man they want him fired but I honestly think that would set the team back 2-3 more years.
I've been saying for 3 years in this thread that weather effects football games and I've been ridiculed for it, in spite of that ridicule I continue to say it because it's true. I myself have played a lot of football in my life and I've played on dry, wet, icy and snow covered fields and it changes the complexion of a game completely(see Penn St vs LSU last year for evidence of this). Michigan's spread offense is predicated on speed so of course if you get them on a nasty track a team like Purdue will keep the score a lot closer than they ever could on a perfectly dry track.

UW is the best team in the Big Ten right now. They beat both OSU and Iowa. You can argue OSU but Iowa just lost to Northwestern, they definitely not in the discussion.

The current projections have LSU/OSU in the Sugar if everything stays as is.

idk did you see Wisconsin score 83 points yesterday? That was ridiculous.
Ohio State is a good but not great team and our secondary is riddled with injuries, we could win our next 2 and be in another BCS bowl and we could lose our next 2 and play in the outback bowl. If Wisconsin wins out they will most likely get a BCS bid regardless of what OSU and Mich St do. Mich St needs to win out and an Ohio St loss because a 3 way tie at the top will mean top rated in BCS (Wisconsin) gets the Big Ten automatic BCS bid but if OSU loses they(MSU) beat Wisconsin and would get the Big Ten's bid. A 1 loss Buckeyes squad will have a great chance to get an at large bid, although with 2 at large bids going to Boise and TCU who knows .

I saw that projection as well, another projection had us playing Boise St.

Wisconsin is a very sloppy road team, but at Camp Randall they are unstoppable.....that 83 point came was uncalled for though..any good team can do that without sitting their first team...I understand an "exclamation point" after a win.....but damn!!!:usa:
