Agreed. When the season started, I told BUCKNUTS Bama would lose a couple of games, and my guesses were @ S.Carolina and @ LSU. Columbia was a flat-out butt whipping, but today's game is pretty much what I expected.
Alabama should've been prepared for Miles' 4th down calls, and their DBs are still making crucial mistakes. This Bama defense will be lights-out next year, but this season they just don't have the confidence or pass rush they're known for. On offense, I just don't have the answer. Abandoning the run early and putting the game in G-Mac's hands is not getting it done. While the o-line isn't what is was last season, they aren't the problem. Running Ingram and Richardson up the middle is. Last year, Ingram was getting huge gains when they swept him left or right. They did that once today... and he jogged into the endzone. Then, it was back to the middle.
Congrats on the win though. LSU undoubtedly deserved it.
Just got finished watching TCU dismantle Utah. Oh lawd. I'm sold on that team. Unlike AU and Oregon, they can light up the scoreboard AND play defense. They truly are legit, and I would love to see them play one of the aforementioned teams in Glendale. Of course, if Auburn's there representing the SEC, I gotta stay true to my conference. However, if it's Oregon or Boise, I'm all about the Horned Frogs.
Btw, when will schools learn that 'Black-Outs" don't work? Didn't Georgia prove that a few years back?
