Turinabol Diet Question

Your body grows while you're resting and the gym is merely the stimulus. 1-1.5 hrs is plenty of time per day to do cardio and lift (that's not including time for warm-up, pre-hab, stretching, etc.).

I completely agree, I only lift 4 days a week - Monday, Wed, Fri, Sat...usually cardio is about 40 minutes of low or high intensity 2-3 times a week.

Cardio is separate from training and I get lots of sleep.

I'm up to 3ml now and I'm going to stay at this dose until Week 3 where I do 4ml and stay on that for a while.

May have leaned out a bit, but hard to really tell...haven't really noticed any increase in recovery yet...

Expecting things to kick in good next week.

whoa, are you saying you're planning on upping it to 3ml twice daily?? If so, that's 180mg of halodrol per day...definitely way too much man. And 4ml twice per day (240mg halo) is insane. Tbol takes awhile to kick in so don't just keep upping it because you're not seeing immediate results. Personally I wouldn't be going past 100mg per day, but if your ~170 lb and haven't used tbol/halo before I would just stick with the 90mg per day (1.5ml twice daily), that should definitely be enough to get some good results.

Holy crap! 240mg is a lot! From what I've seen and read 100 is the most..50-100 is the dose req...and at 75 is good enough..I know it takes about two weeks to kick in. Patients is key..if u have none than it means u don't work hard enough...working out is a process not a one day difference

no, I'm taking 3ml total in one day, 1.5ml in the morning and then 12 hrs later another 1.5ml...

sorry if I wasn't clear, I'm not totally crazy :D

I'm taking 1.5ml twice daily...I'll keep it at that amount, was thinking about maybe more near the end week 4...but I'll be patient.

Monday will be starting week 3...and my 2nd week at 3ml total in one day.

The first week I was only taking 2ml daily cause I was unsure about the effects it might have...

I've been lifting for a while now so I know you don't see results overnight...it's a lifestyle, not a hobby for me.

Even at two training sessions a day, 2.5hrs is long man. Still fun to push yourself to the limits every once in a while, though.

I don't always do two sessions a day...just maybe once or twice a week...I like to focus on my back in one session..and prefer to dedicate one session to my shoulders.

lol ok, cool...just didn't want to see you kill yourself on your first tbol cycle man

good luck with your cycle bro...keep us posted on how it goes

Update on the cycle...this halfway through Week 5 and this week has been hell.

Extremely tired, hot, flushed, headaches and absolutely no energy, even though I've upped my carb intake.

Doing back today got some serious cramps in low back right side and spreading down my right quad.

Had to cut the session short since the pain was unbearable.

From what I've read, back cramps are normal on pro hormone cycles and people are suggesting to take 5mg of Taurine daily to take care of this.

However I think I might just finish out this week and call it quits. Was planning on 6 weeks, but I'm not really liking the side effects since its seriously cutting in my gym sessions.

On a good note, I've gained about 4lbs overall in the last 5 weeks and lost about 1 inch on the waste.

I appear alot leaner and have def gained strength.

Gains are not as good as I would have hoped b/c I went into the cycle wore down a bit.

Next time I'll start the cycle after I've had a week off to rest up so I can hit it hard.

I'll be taking final measurements this weekend to see exactly how things have worked out.

Any input on the the back cramps is appreciated.

yep your right, typo on my part.

I'm drinking tons of water,...5-6 32oz containers daily, sometimes more and I'm still thirsty

I don't really drink anything like Gatorade or Powerade...maybe I should be?

reviewing my diet logs for the past week, I've noticed my carb intake has been a bit low, around 50-75 grams of direct carbs.

maybe this is causing the cramping issues?

Very likely. As the name implies, carbs help to keep the body hydrated. Particularly, add in 3 servings of fruits everyday for their mineral content.

Excellent, I was concerned cause I've never felt that kinda of pain. it lasted from right after my session for about 16 hrs. I thought my kidneys were shutting down lol

I picked up a bottle of Taurine...not sure when I should be taking it but figure 3 pills in the morning and 3 pills about an hr before lifting should be good to go. They are 500mg.

I'll grab a bag of apples on my way home. Thanks for the input as always very much appreciated.

I've learned alot from this cycle and next time around I'll be better rested and more knowledgeable.

Any input on what my PCT diet/training should look like?

I was thinking dropping the carb intake about 20% and instead of training in low rep/heavy weight ranges, to go abit lighter with 5-6 sets and 6-10 reps per set

Up the calories and cut down the volume by about 1/3.

How much should I up the calories? In order to increase cals should I increase macros across the board...?

In regards to volume...do you mean cut down on the amount of exercises or the amount of sets/reps? What's your take on going lighter with more reps/sets? and for example instead of doing 4 leg exercises, doing 2

Thx a mill!

Up the calories by about 300-500 with most from protein and fat. Lower the amount of sets performed and don't attempt any maximum effort lifts. Your goal during PCT is not to set a PR; it's to maintain your extra mass.

Excellent...I can finish up my schedule for PCT now...thx!

Ok here's the final report, overall for being my first cycle, things went better than expected and I learned alot.

Overall Final Stats
Weight: +6lbs
Waist: -.5 inches
Arms: +.5 inches
Shoulders: +2.25 inches
Chest : +.5 inch
Quads: + 1 inch
Calves + 1 inch

Some great gains all around...I'm rly shocked.

Can't report any new PR's on major exercises since I coming back from time off & injury and had lost weight on bench, dead lifts, etc.

Here's what I learned

Keep carbs up around 150-200.

Use taurine to avoid serious cramping.

Drink more water

Next time around in Feb, I'll be going for a bulk

Straight from the waist to the guns, huh? Can't hope for better than that bro ;)

I shoot for the same rep/weights, but with fewer working sets (e.g. 2 instead of 3).

Quick question, for the majority of the cycle, I was doing 5x5 style and heavy weights...for the last two weeks I started doing 5 set pyramids.

I'm going to stick with this for the next 4 weeks, but just decrease the sets a bit and keep a mix of heavy weight/low reps and then a week of higher reps/lower weight.

About diet this is the plan...

Carbs: 100 grams
Fat: 75 grams
Protein 325 grams

LMK what you think...and how should I handle cardio? I assume only a few days a week is good?
