whats a good way to tell ya have an empty stomach? im pretty sure you woudnt wait till stomach starts growing.

or whats a good time limit after you eat a meal to take pre workout supps?

for instance time after pasta or time after meats and such?

I'd say and hour after a moderate meal.

Generally, anything after 2 hours post-eating is considered an "empty stomach". However, different macronutrients and the categories they are broken down into have different digestions times - anywhere from 1-4 hours, so it really depends on what you had in your last meal. Still, ~2 hours is a good time limit post-meal for any supplements that require an "empty stomach".

A USP labs rep answered this question before. The answer was that basically jacked (jack3d) should be taken no less than an hour after a meal. If it was a big meal a longer wait would be smart for full effects.
