How can you tell if you dont hit the muscle?

I pin with 23guage 1 1/4 in the glute. I am 4 shots in and I just want to make sure i am hitting the muscle. So far no problems.

If I inject in the fat wont it abcess or something similar?

it the glute, its hard to miss, 1 1/4 inch deep you are good to go. just with any pinning, make sure you aspirate before you actually inject.

search online for diagrams on where to inject. typically if you divide your ass cheek into 4, you inject in the upper outside quater.
 
I studied all that long before I started.

I always aspirate the needle and I am in the correct location.

My only worry was that 1 1/4 may not be enought for my fat a$$!!!!!

for me, its my favourite part haha.
once you get going you would be well served to learn some new injection spots. most with a slightly shorter 1" needle. my favs are pecks and tricep.
 
Yeah once your past the inch mark your hitting muscle, If your that fat that your missing it... well you need to stop taking steroids and get your fat ass on a treadmile.

I still pin with 1.5 in the glute though. Everywhere else I just use 1".
 
1.25" should be plenty to get through the fat... if you are worried about it though, just pin quads instead, i've got fat on my ass but absolutely none on my quads, and they're easier to reach, they're just my favorite spot

agreed. i actually stopped shooting glutes after like my first month. its so hard to reach. i prefer quads, delts, pecs, tris, or bis
