Bulk then cut?

Mr Chris

New member
I was just wondering if it would be better for me to Bulk then Cut

I was thinking about following the GOMAD diet for bulking while working out everday and then take a cutting diet, still working as hard while using some fat burning supplements that my dad Takes.

Following the GOMAD diet is 16 servings of 150 calories a day so

16x150 = 2400 calories (Milk Only)
16x8 = 128g of protein (Milk Only)

What do you think?

You don't need to cut - you don't have the fat TO cut, and if you get leaner, will just look skinny. To gain muscle mass, just calculate your Maintenance and make sure you are eating MORE than that - although, at your age and weight, you should honestly just be able to eat about anything and train hard, and as long as you're eating enough, you should get results if you're training properly and hard.

At your age, forget ANY supplements but the basics (creatine, multivitamin, good fats, protein, BCAAs) - and even then, you don't need these if you get enough in your diet, and at your weight, you should easily be able to get enough good fats, protein, and BCAAs. Wait until you're at LEAST 18 years old, and have an extensive training history and base, before thinking about using any other supplements but the basic staples. In the meantime, you can educate yourself about different supplements and what they do - and should already be doing this re the basics - but you shouldn't be considering using any.

Forget about stupid diets, especially if you want real results. Having 16 servings of milk daily is FAR from ideal for bulking OR cutting - and you should be able to have this on TOP of your regular food. You should be focusing more on PROPER NUTRITION, and actually eating REAL food, 5-6 meals daily. I recommend learning about proper nutrition - lots of sites around for great information, or even just browse - so that you understand why you need it, and how you can achieve it, instead of using fad diets. Nutrition should be a LIFESTYLE.

Re training, I also recommend doing some extensive research on different methods and ways of achieving muscle accretion.

Honestly, your dad should ALREADY have told you all this.

The main reason i am looking into diets right now is because i have a growth hormone deficiency and i build a lot slower then most people

Thank you for the information :food:

I havent asked my dad. i don't want him to know im doing it, i also do not live with him.

I see. Well, considering he is into it, if he knows his stuff, then he would be a good person to talk to.

Do you know that you have a Growth Hormone deficiency or are you guessing? As far as that goes, if you get your nutrition and training right, then you can get the gains you want - you just might have to be a little more patient. And trust me, sometimes training can be the best thing (aside from medicating with substances to "fix" it), and can turn it around and be an advantage - trust me, I know; whilst I do not have what you have, my red blood cells (RBC) only carry two oxygens, compared to the usual four, so training is a huge benefit to me, because it increases my RBC count, so that I am not at a disadvantage to others. Therefore, doing things the RIGHT way is crucial, and it's definitely better to start doing it earlier than later, in such circumstances.

hey fellow Texan! listen to these folks they know their $#IT. i dunno about an all milk diet? if that's what you're implying. it might make a good part for bulking purposes. shoot, if you can find some whole raw organic from one of your local farmers! good luck

dude, ur only 15. when i was 15 i was your size. i hit my growth spurt late. go to the doc cause he gave me HGH to speed my growth up. anyways, DO NOT TOUCH ANY pro hormones or steroids. my cousin is 15 and has ran 3 cycles of mdrol already. sure he is big but he will regret it later. he already has gyno and can lactate.

pro hormones and whey protein are not the same thing, same thing with creatine, even though creatine is a big supplement that people get off on, the body produces it naturaly just like most hormones

I infact do have GH and i am looking into some stuff

My Father gave me some Jack3d and PowerFULL that i'm going to start from USPlabs

dude u dont need to be taking ANY supplements other than protein IMO. at 100 pounds, u can easily gain weight off food. kids these days think supplements will get them to there goals. thats totally false. dedication to diet and training will. supplements are just SUPPLEMENTS. post ur diet on here, and dont make a BS diet cause ur only 100 pounds so it cant be that good. if u post we will help u what 2 eat

You REALLY DO need to start educating yourself on supplements. Anyone can tell you that prohormones and protein are not the same thing, and that prohormones and creatine are not the same thing. Regardless what you thing you know, although creatine is produced by the body, it is NOT hormonal, and creatine supplementation is actually one of the few supplements out there proven to work.

At your age, if you're going to supplement with anything, it should be a multivitamin and creatine, since, as I said before, at your weight, you can get enough good fats, protein, and BCAAs in your diet.

You do NOT need to be taking Growth Hormone. And you do NOT need to be using preworkout products and natural Growth Hormone OR Testosterone boosters. Get your nutrition and training right and you'll get the results you want and need.

Listen to the people that actually know what they're doing, and the professionals that do this for a living. If you're hardheaded and don't listen, that is your loss, and quite sad, but we're only trying to help you out, so that you do the best thing for your body.

I do listen and i am taking everything into consideratioin and looking into it farther, on the part of eating a good diet, i live with my grandparents and they will refuse to cook the same stuff every week, but i could make it myself, i need a good diet to get off on

i have a very fast motabalism, and i eat alot, im trying to figure out how to do this without the use of supplements but it seems like they would help, i am infact going to use creatine and i am just looking for a steady diet that will help me considering i do not have one yet, thankyou for all of y'alls answers and i would like for you to know that i am listening and still learning, so please do not get upset with me, i am researching everything you and others say..

Thanks for the help and future answers

I think drinking milk all day IS good for bulking. GREAT for bulking. The highest quality protein there is, continuously flowing into you is a good deal.

Preferably as part of a diet that includes food, of course.

The rest of what this kid is talking about is starting to scare me a little.
