i have inherited my fathers genes when it comes to having a chubby face. i saw a picture of myself the other day and the first thing that i noticed was my chubby face. it really pisses me off because i have a pretty low bodyfat percentage(about 10% maybe even less) but if i am wearing clothes you would probably think that i am a chubby little bastard under neath them. i am not on any cycle or taking creatine yet my face is chubby. i always knew it was but this one picture of me really pissed me off. is there anything i can do?

Don't know of anything you can really do except drop to a lower bf%. 10% is good but it's not that low. Try to get down to 6-7%, if your face is still chubby I don't know what to tell ya.

i am looking more for the miracle cure. lol yes i know that 10% percent is not that low but my face makes me look about 20% in my opinion.

Hey bro, don't sweat it....its genetics. The only thing that I will say is that when I drop carbs, my body drops bloat, one of the first places I saw it happen was the face.....

you prob heard that a thousand times, and I know youre looking for a cream or pill to help you out but I wouldnt bother with it man, drink tons of water, and like Jminis said, weight loss is ultimately your best bet.

either drop the bodyfat, try to eliminate water retention, or get used to it. Sorry man, not much else I can tell you

There is lipo for the face, but it could make you look grotesque some years later. We are all more critical of ourselves (appearance) than others. It might not look that bad at all. Any way if you still think its fat you can try this: Buy some lemons, cut the very tip off, just enough to expose the fruit, put your lips over it, firm, and suck, do this while you are watching TV or reading a book, until the lemon is depleted of juice. Do this every day for a month and behold no more fat cheeks! I hope this helps

Bro, I hear you. I'm in the same boat. I gotta down below 7% or so to have a decent jawline. Even at 5 or 6 % I still have a watery pseudo seccond chin. Sucks.

Why do you think I drew that mask on my avatar? It's the only way I could look like I have a decent face! :icon_lol:

you're probably overreacting. its really unlikely that the body will store fat in the face/neck area if you're truley 10% bf. post a pic we'll tell you if your overreacting or not.

there was a post over at elite about some guy using yohimburn (like lipoderm) on his face and it working, but its probably not something i would reccommend trying.

He's not overreacting. It's genetics. I have an extended family full of fat faces. Some are fatter than others though. I'll admit though, that the standards of a BBer are skewed somewhat. A thin face to the avg. joe can be considered fat by some of us.

You said you really noticed it from one picture. Did you ever think the picture is distorted. I've noticed some pics of me come out strange and nothing like the way I look in the mirror and others come out identical. Its the same with mirrors as some tend to make you looks shorter, taller, wider, or thiner. Also don't forget some people aren't very photogenic and just don't take good pictures. Now as for solutions I would think pgf2 would work since it destroys fat cells. I'm not recommending using it on the face but I thought I'd throw it out there. I would give yohimbine a try. Also if you want a quick fix for the beach or a night out I think herbal diuretics will work great. I have a freind that didn't really have pronounced cheek bones so his face always looked sort of roung until he used one of those over the counter diuretics. It was the only time I've ever seen him that he had a jaw line.

haha damn i got punked!!!

anyhoo i think that i am very critical of myself and lets face it, the main reason that i work out is for vanity. i am one of those guys who looks in the mirror and says "ok i need to work on my biceps.....and ya know my triceps could use some work.......and well i really need to work my abs.....and jeeze my calves need help........" you get the idea right. the thing is i guess i cant really workout my face so it is kind pissing me off.

damn lean one i always thought that you were some crazy luchador/wrestler!

Well I have a long face :) I get it from the little bit of French ancestry in my bloodline... most of me is english/welsh/scotch-irish/danish, etc

can't do much about it except surgery... always thought about getting my jawline brought out that way but i dont think the airforce would accept me once I enter in about 2-3 years

I think you understand the negative self apraisal thing that people have, you probably dont look as bad as you imagine. What is noticeable to you is probably not evident to others.

nahhh.... I KNOW I'm fat :D

Yes but how many people are offended by your obesity? I mean, I am by definition obese but no one calls me fat and if they did so what? Generally people have more important things on their minds and in their lives than how others appear to them. When a person is constantly looking outward for the defects of others and even calling them on it, that is a sign of true inferiority and in some cases, is indicative of sociopathology. Fortunately, these people make themselves known and should be avoided like the plague. IMO we should think well of ourselves and others, its all about respect and self-respect. You cant have one without the other.

Cant exercise your face, lol...I dont know but that just gave me a chuckle for some reason...face exercises, lol

"Hey bro, I can do a facelift of 200 lbs, beat that!" lol

houseman,

whats up with virtual body builder? its down
I don't know. I been trying to get in touch with the Owner for a few days now. He's in the UK so he takes a bit to respond. I'll try to have an update soon though.

Houseman, thats cool! We can all flex and contract our zygomatics and we all do, the more often the better.

I have been doing extensive research on this subject because it is my job to look a certain way in front of the camera. I have also been dealing with face bloat my entire life. This phenomenon makes absolutely no sense in regards to body fat percentage. I have been down to 4% body fat and have still had bloat face flare ups. Just like Marcus, I too am considering facial lipo. I am starting to believe that the face bloat might be my body's reaction to stress of some sort or possibly a response to heightened cortisol levels. I know one thing for a fact, over training definitely causes it to flare up. I can be as lean as humanly possible, but if I am training too much it will show in my face. I'm wondering if a combination of mild diuretics and something to control cortisol might help? Could anyone offer legitimate advice?

Simple, stay away from big shirts, if u have 48" chest or less you can still fit in the slim fit shirts from Hugo Boss xxl very flattering, Ben Sherman and Ted Baker good options too. Interested what/where you big boys 48 + shop ?
