No Idea What I'm Doing --- Please Help.

hey -- i weigh 142lbs, and am 5'8". i've been boxing since i was 14 and i'm 28 now. i'm built like a boxer and am in pretty good shape. i've never really "lifted" or anything aside from a ton of push-ups, medicine ball, crunches etc..., however, i started hitting a weight lifting gym hard back in november. i'm extremely toned now, and my diet is excellent, recently, while at the nutrition center this kid recommended this stuff to me called "halobolin" by myopharma. he told me all good stuff about it, and i bought it -- fully knowing it was a steroid. he told me i might get a little acne, and get angry easier, but i'll definitely get results. i already take a liver pill as part of the many vitamins i take a day -- but is there something else i should be doing?
the pills are 50mg. i'm supposed to take 1 a day in the morning for 30 days... maybe after 3 weeks i should go up to 2 a day. thats what i was recommended. i'm not looking to get huge, i just want to turn what i've got into something better -- and then keep my results afterwards. i don't really want to get into "stacking" or anything -- or maybe i should? also -- if i just end up taking this halobolin, is there a post cycle therapy i should be using? i'm hear to learn.

I'm going to give you the same response that I feel that vast majority of the members here will.

You can gain alot more weight naturally. Even at your height you can gain more, taking a steroid without understanding how to hit your limit naturally implies that something may be missing in your diet/routine/body chem/etc. Your age is fine but that is only one factor.

What are your specific goals?

You also mentioned hitting a lifting gym back in November which is good, I suggest spending a few more months there learning how to lift for mass, then take that home and learn how to eat for mass. Quality mass.

Read some quality posts from those sections first, then before you even consider running the haladrol, review these sections:

Lifting for mass and eating for mass is different from lifting and eating for mass while on a steroid/pro-hormone. Take just a few months to nail down those and you will be set.

Not to sound like too big of a "richard" here, but let me poke some holes and tell ya where you went wrong. (Keep in mind, I'm trying to help!!)

1. If you don't know what you're doing, mid-stream is the wrong time to find out the boat leaks. In other words, don't do it in the first place. Lesson learned, hopefully.

2. If you bought it in a "nutrition store" that wasn't located in some guy's gym bag while nobody was looking, in some back alley from some guy who looked a little twitchy, or over the internet using an alias from a guy using an alias and shipping only to a post office box that was set up for someone that doesn't exist....it's not a steroid. If you walked through a door and picked it up off the shelf, it's not a steroid. If the kid at the store told you it was a steroid, go back there and smack him right in his dumb face. Better yet, for the sake of ridding the world of stupid people (my life's goal), give me the address and I'll do it. What you have may be a simple test booster at best. I don't know, I've never heard of it. But it certainly isn't going to be a steroid, even if you bought it in Boston. ;) :)

3. I whole-heartedly agree with ecosocialist. Start reading from the links provided and go from there. For now, put the bottle down and pick up your glasses. Take the time and do it right.

Other than that, the only thing I can think is to ask you for the ingredient profile for whatever it is you have there. Post up what's in it as listed and we'll analyze for you.

Good luck, and welcome to AM. We're here to help.

4-cloro-17a-methyl-androst-1,4 diene-3-17b-diol 25mg per pill is what he's taking

From Google;

Halobolin
Supplement Facts

I'd wait.

I 100% whole-heartedly disagree. I've walked into local supp stores and seen phera, tren (this one was about a year ago), and superdrol, all on the shelves. He's got a halo clone in his hands, as already mentioned.

The independent stores will have those. Your national chains typically will not.

well, i don't wanna bulk up to much, as i box. i just want everything to be extremely defined and toned. other factors that i haven't mentioned are that i'm a vegetarian (by default.. stomach problems as a kid, blah blah blah), and i'm as big as i'm going to get naturally. i have an extremely high metabolism already, and a lot of energy constantly, so even when i eat a ton, i don't gain much weight.
the nutrition store i bought it at is an independently owned store. the owner is actually really cool, and seemed rather disappointed when i told him i bought this bottle of one of his staff.
4-chloro-17a-methyl-androst-1, 4-diene-3b,17b-diol - 50mg is in-fact what it say's on the back.
i was also wondering how this stuff would effect my way of thinking and aggression? if i'm going to start taking it -- how should i approach it and end it?

You lie. You CAN get bigger, you're just not knowledgable or motivated anough to change your workout routine and eat more. That's the secret to your goal. If changing your workout will negatively affect your boxing, well...sometimes you can't have it all (at once, anyway). Being defined is a function of diet and training, and toned, well, that doesn't exist. There is muscle, and lack of muscle. Tons of pushups and crunches aren't going to turn you into the cast of 300.

I'm very confident that adding deadlift, heavy rows, squats, and bench are not going to negatively affect your boxing for quite some time, they'll only help. Adding mass, especially in the core, will increase punching poser and potentially speed, and help keep you ripped, if that's your thing. Back and core strength are key for fighters.

The owner of the store was disappoionted because his employee sold you the wrong product. If. You had asked here before buying, we would have told you something like rpm/drive would serve you far better, as it increases test, metabolism, aggression, explosiveness, without the sides of a halo clone.

And add onto that the bonus to your natural test and growth hormone production caused by heavy lifts.

clenbuterol good for strength and fat loss

1. 50mg of hdrol isnt going to do anything really besides shut you down.
2. You clearly dont have a clue about PCT, If you dont have a serm dont take that halo clone bottom line.
3. How old are you?

Do your homework first...

The point is you didn't do any research. I suggest diving into the search bar heavily.
148lbs and you can't grow?? You aren't doing something right and steroids aren't the solution. I.guarantee.it.

wow you can be cruel
i submitted that message with a good intention and you just shoot me down like that

Recommending something like clen to a total n00b is cruel. The dude would probably end up dead if he did clen. Doesn't mean it's bad, it just means itls bad for him at this point.

i'm 27. the reason why i cant gain much weight is because i've had a stomach disorder since i was a kid. i had a g-tube until i was 12 and had to be hooked up to a feeding tube at night while i was asleep. the doctors took it out when i was 12 because my weight wasn't going away. it was steady.. but i was still scrawny. since i started boxing years ago though, i kinda have like a "bruce lee" type physique -- i wanna be bigger. somebody told me there are 3 different "body types" and i was the smallest -- and i'll always be lean because of my super high metabolism etc... what are recommendations besides "do your homework." i mean, even a workout i can do. i don't know many of the terms -- so give it to me straight.

bro, if you already have internal disorders, a cycle is just gonna jack you up more especially if you just jump into it without having it planned to the tee. search the internet for "boxing strength training" routines. a simple 3 day a week full body workout coupled with your boxing training should suffice just fine. also search the internet for "bulking" diets. if you're as dedicated to boxing as you say you are then putting together a eating and training routine should be a piece of cake for you. good luck man

I'll get you started. First thing you will grow with your metabolism. You just have to find out how much and how often. There are two ways of doing this. Research or experiment. I dd a combination and know how much I can eat and when. Next thing is lifting. Heavy weight is not necessarily the only way to bulk. I like to mix it up from week to week. I have a weight trainer that assists me with my program and read about it as well. You will realize in your quest for muscle that the knowledge you put on the table will likely be accepted and hopefully be returned....
Good Luck
