Started H Drol

OK. So I stocked up on phs after the most recent 'ban' and after much debate and research I decided to kick it off with CEL H DROL.

A little back ground on me.

Been lifting as long as I can remember.
Ran 3 previous ph's. Last one was a spawn clone in September of 09.
Had bloodwork done and all is good.
I'll be running it at 75mgs straight through for 6 weeks.

Started on Sunday the 8th. Took 2 about an hour pre workout and 1 more about 8 hours later. Workout went well actually noticed goods pumps and energy throughout. Monday was an off day so I took single doses spaced out throughout the day.

I have alot of anticipation and excitment about starting a new cycle so obviously I have alot of positive energy at the moment and I am only on day three so not much to report as of yet. However I have started to feel that 'focused' somewhat serious no-nonsense atittude that usually comes with a good cycle.

I dont have the time for a log with daily updates but I will update with whatever progress I make and let you know how it goes. BTW... I notice alot of logs kind of fade away by the halfway point so-to-speak but I will update to the end of cycle and post cyle. I have taken some photos and will probably post before and after shots as well.

OK. So, I do not want to jump the gun but so far I am impressed. I have read alot of people say that H Drol 'takes awhile to kick in' but once it does it is well worth it...
Well I notice the 'on feeling' already which is a pleasent surprise. Pumps and intensity are way up and it is not placebo. I am glad I started at 75 and not 50.

I hit the gym today and again I took 2 caps about 45 mins pre workout and I'll take the 3rd later on tonight. During a cycle I keep a simple routine and hit the gym every other day and perform basic lifts and often superset with isolation exercises for a good pump. I use this routine to emphasize size and strength gains while avoiding overtraining ( which is all too easy to do while on a ph, the last thing I want to do is get sick while on cycle ) also in addition to avoiding overtraing the every-other-day schedule always leaves me motivated and hungry to get back into the gym on my off days.

Anyway I just wanted to update that I am impressed and did not expect to feel anything this early on in an H Drol cycle.
 
I am on day 6 and everything is going well. I have some 'before pics' I plan on posting.

One thing I have started to notice is that I am sleeping like a baby and my libido is noticably up. Although I have also noticed a tad bit of lethargy in the morning but nothing a cup of coffee can't cure. Otherwise everything is in order and workouts are going great.

I'm only dosing 50mg for the first week, but I'm pretty surprised it's kicking in so fast, especially since everything I've read has said it takes until the third week to experience effects.

We're pretty much on the same schedule (only started a day apart), I'll have to check in over the next 6 weeks :thumbsup:
 
I never picked up a SERM, and I'm in the middle of an HDROL run right now.....Suggestions?

I suggest picking up a SERM along with any of the PCT products either from CEL, AI or Purus labs recycle. Of course you're going to want liver support and monitor blood pressure as well. I have a SERM and plan on running it. It just takes all the guess work out of PCT. They're easy to obtain and affordable, although I do understand the hesitation. There are pros and cons to SERM's but I had a pretty mediocre PCT before with OTC supplements and it took me months to fully recover. Never again. I may not always use a serm but I will always have one on hand.

There are alot of OTC suggestions for H DROL the search function will turn up many as alot of people prefer OTC with H DROL. I can say that I Force reversitol is a solid all around pct however I cannot vouch for the new version as I have not used it.

Glad to hear it. I am looking forward to the next 5 weeks this is turning into a fun ride.:drive:
 
Dammit. I don't know what to think. I've read that Hdrol is mild enough to get away with just PCT Assist and Inhibit-E. Others are telling me basically I'm a ****ing idiot for running a methyl w/o a SERM. :o

Being a methyl isnt really the reason for or against a serm. A methyl makes it harder on the liver and thats where your milk thistle or liver support come into play.

IN SHORT:
In general a ph cycle, no matter how mild, will lead to a degree of shutdown. This is a complicated process where you may experience headaches, lethargy, no sex drive, loss of muscle mass, increased water retention and body fat, gyno etc etc...This can be avoided with a good pct. A serm is your best bet because it will block estrogen receptors and prevent gyno. A serm will also restore the hpta which will restore your bodys natural test production and help maintain gains made on cycle. You can get away without a serm as your body will eventually return to homeostasis and otc supplements will fascilitate this, just not as effectively ( no where near as effectivley ) as a serm.

In any case your cycle and pct, whether serm or otc, should be thought out and on hand before you even begin a cycle and you will hear this over and over again.

OTC PCT is fine for Hdrol:)
 
Not sure why people would want to mess around. A real Serm is cheaper than an OTC and just as easy to obtain. Do you need it..probably not...but I would definitly have it just in case.
 
Day 7- Today I experienced headaches while working out. Nothing too severe. Lasted a couple of sets and went away.

I am certain it had to do with a pre workout drink I took today. I try not to use stims while on a cycle and I was warned about bp with H drol so I should have known better but I had some samples that I picked up at the Arnold Expo and decided to try Hemo Rage. I will not be doing that again.

On the plus side I have gained 3 lbs and its looking nice.

On a side note I just wasn't that impressed with Hemo Rage. After all the crazy advertisments for it I expected more. Its no different than any other pwo supp I guess. After the ad campaign for it I assumed I would be blown away. Surprisingly not too long ago I tried NOXPUMP by Dorian Yates company and it gave a phenomenal pump and good energy although it tasted raw.
 
Day 11- I had my best workout yet, the kind where you just don't want to leave the gym. I'm also filling out nicely. You know the feeling ie: shirts are fitting tighter, getting super pumped when lifting, looking like a lifter, walking like a lifter, wicked ILS, etc, etc.....

I have gained 6 lbs and my appetite is bottomless, so Im eating all the time yet Im looking solid.

The Lethargy has become worse. I fall into a deep sleep and getting up in the morning in pretty rough. Its kind of interesting, beacuse once I wake up and get warmed up I feel great but it just takes a while to get goin' . And the Libido I have is insane, man seriously I feel like a 17 year old when it comes to sex drive. Oddly I have not experienced any 'back pumps' which everyone has warned about.

Pretty much just continuing in that direction. Good gains, good workouts, deep sleeps, increased appetite and increased wood.

I edited my profile and my profile pic is a pic I took of me at 5'10'' 195 just before I started H DROL. Its just a cell phone pic but it will serve as a comparison pic for the end of the cycle. I will add update pics to the photo album in my profile as the cycle continues.
 
Added a second picture ( wearing jeans ) to the album taken after 10 days of use. You can see my chest and shoulders are a little bit fuller while my waist is a little bit narrower.
 
Two weeks in

First pic is a couple days before the cycle started... Second pic is day 14.

I know they're not great quality pics but Cell phone pics are easy to send to my computer and upload so...

I can see a difference in my waist and chest arms and shoulders. This only the two week mark and I have four more weeks to go. Plus I hear weeks 4,5 and 6 are when the real gains come in.

NIce progress man!! what are your goals with the cycle?


Thanks bro appreciate it... My goals are pretty much the same with any cycle: Increase Lean Muscle Mass. I dont have a large structure and although my metabolism keeps me 'slim' it doesent necessarily keep me 'lean', So regardless of the compound used, the method is the same: Eat clean, eat alot and workout as hard as I can.
 
Dang bro, only two weeks in and your showing those kind of results! I got a feeling youre most likely going to be very please once weeks 4-6 roll around.

Today is the half-way point of my h-drol cycle.

Upto now I am pleased with my progress. Im a bit surprised because I have been gaining wieght so easily. I thought this cycle would be a bit leaner but the size has come so easily. Im up about 8 pounds from when I started. No real significant strength changes, obviously I have had an ncrease in strength but nothing too crazy. Im starting to get a little acne. And lethargy is still a problem. No back pumps and no joint pain. Just really looking foward to the next three weeks!:slomo:
 
OK, I am at day 25 and I have 15 days left on cycle. Workouts have been great, pumps during workouts have been great too, after a good workout I look pretty damn good if I do say so myself. But heres the deal, I am a little bit disappointed... The first two weeks I gained three pounds each week. The third week I gained two lbs. Thats 8 lbs. This week I may have gained a pound if that. Now, I dont judge results based on the scale, The scale usually doesent tell the whole story of whats going on but in this case its accurate. I have continued to eat alot of protein, complex carbs and healthy fats and my workouts have been great but based on what I see in the mirror progress has kind of stalled out. I have the pictures posted in my album on my profile. I am still excited about weeks 5 and 6 so I guess I will see what happens.

One thing I changed though: when I started the cycle I would take 2 caps pre-workout on workout days and 1 cap later in the day. On off days I would take the 3 caps spaced evenly throughout the day. But over the course of the last week I changed so that on workout days I space the caps out evenly and I no longer double dose prior to a workout.

What was your reasoning for changing your dosing? I've been doing two preworkout and one later in the day, and have been thinking about switching.
 
Well the pre-workout effect wasn't much different between 1 or 2 caps and plus I had experienced a couple of headaches when taking two at a time. So I tried 1 and it was fine. Also it just seems to make sense that it would be more beneficial to have the doses spread evenly throughout the day in terms of a sustained effect.

BTW, forgot to mention it earlier but recovery on this cycle has been great. I have been having extremley intense workouts and have only experienced minor soreness and even that doesent last to long. I feel like I could be in the gym every day if I wanted to.

My progress has been pretty good so far. I've put on about 13 pounds, strength is up, recovery is up, libido has evened out, I have some acne here and there but backpumps are mostly gone (I've been taking 3g of taurine pre-workout). I'm hoping I can put on another 3-5 pounds in the last two weeks. My gains aren't 100% lean, but I wouldn't call the cycle a "dirty bulk" by any means. I should be able to cut the fat pretty easily later on.

Pretty happy with the cycle so far, I don't want it to end :laugh:

OK we are pretty much on the same page. I've gained 10 lbs since I started. Its fairly lean. Libido has tapered off a little bit from the begining. I'll be happy if I can put on another 5 lbs. I havent had back pumps or joint pain.
 
10 DAYS LEFT

10 days left...Filled out significantly more in the shoulders and arms since the start of cycle. Legs have filled out quite a bit too, still fairly lean.

Wow---sick progress-your getting me amped up to start already BUT I must be patient and wait till my planned late May start so I can carry it through to look good during the summer...
 
nice summary of your progress. i have a question for you...have you kept your workouts the same as while not on a PH but just recover better now that you're on one? or are you doing more work, higher volume, heavier percentages, etc?

Apetit- My workouts during this cycle have been the same as the previous 7 months or so, however being on this cycle has given me quite a bit more aggression in the gym and recovery so Im tending to use more wieght plus Im doing alot of supersets between sets. The goal is to have a satisfying, intense workout every time but performance is just simply better when on cycle. I don't change my workouts based on wether or not I am on a cycle. I will keep a workout as long as it is productive, once it gets stale I will change it up.

Awesome man...yeah I have been debating adding Dermacrine in my upcoming H-Drol/Furuza-a 6 weeker....looks like now, I definitely will. Especially considering my joints crack all the time right now even while I'm not taking anything..Believe I will start it the third week..been contemplating the following:
Week 1 - 50 HDROL
Week 2 - 75 HDROL
Week 3 - 75 H-Drol / 300 Furu
Week 4- 75 H-Drol / 300 Furu / Dermacrine
Week 5 - 75 H-Drol / 300 Furu / Dermacrine
Week 6 - 75 H-Drol / 300 Furu / Dermacrine
Week 7 - 300 Furu / Dermacrine
Weel 8 - 300 Furu / Dermacrine

Weeks 9-12(to 14 possibly) PCT - Nolva. Clomid and maybe some HCG
 
Last day

Last workout on H-Drol...

I actually have one dose left but tomorrow is an off day. So this is the end result. I have made significant improvments in chest and shoulder size and strength. Also really nice gains in leg size too. In fact today I had a personal best bench of 317 and that was right after 3 reps of 292. My previous bench max was 305 ( bench is my weakest lift ) so I'm pretty pleased. BTW I am not posing/flexing in this pic...This is after a workout relaxed with a fairly good pump.

All in all H-Drol was not what I expected. It was kind of an inconsistent cycle. At the start of the cycle I made good gains in size, my libido was through the roof, I started to get a little bit of acne. I did not notice any changes in strength. After the first 3 weeks, which finished off 1 bottle, everything changed. Size gains stalled out, and even my acne cleared up alittle bit. It seemed like I was holding water and I was tired ALL THE TIME. Plus arounf week 4 my libido crashed. I was starting to get alittle dissapointed because after such a strong start I was expecting alot out of weeks 4, 5 and 6. Just when I thought it was over week 6 DELIVERED. Strength was up on everything and it seemed like I had another growth surge. Like I stated before I set a personal best bench of 317 and that was right after 3 reps of 292.

I gained a total of 10 lbs on this cycle which I am very happy about. The biggest drawback was the lethargy which was consistent throughout the entire 6 weeks. Plus I frequently had headaches. I never experienced 'back pumps' and my joints were fine. On the plus side my workouts were great and I had awesome pumps throughout. Strength gains did not kick in untill the last week. Also during the last week it seemed like I could eat just about anything and wake up dry and tight. Its hard to tell from the pictures but I am slightly leaner now than at the start of cycle and thats with a 10lb wieght gain. So for any future H-Drollers out there making it a 6 week cycle is well worth it.

I start PCT in another day so now hopefully I can keep the gains and maybe drop some of the unwanted sides like acne, lethargy and headaches. I'm going to dose nolva at 20/20/10/10. Along with Recycle ( Sorry CEL I got a good deal on it ) and other support supps. So I will update in a couple of weeks.
 
Oh, one other great thing about this cycle was the recovery. No matter how hard I hit the gym I suffered very little if any muscle soreness. If I had more free time I would have and could have been in the gym every single day.

density and muscle fullness are very high !!!

intro a non-methiled in the final to get better fat loss brow.....11-sterone will be nice !
