For those that want to get faster at these, we used to have this competition in one of our classes for extra credit back in HS and came up with this system to do them faster:

Print it out
Look at the list of words, then next to each name write down the first two letters.
Scan as fast as your eyes can for the first letter, if it does not have the second letter around it move on
If it does follow it and see if it spells a word that seems familiar. If not, you can most likely move on.

This will cut your completetion time in half. When you find the words, add them to the paint copy.
