Is or has anyone received any calls after making purchases pre-ban?

I received 2 phone calls from area code 865 which is a Tennessee number...on other forums the buzz is that it's the FDA...anyone?

why would the FDA call you over this? at the time its banned and illegal, it should be passed over to the DEA, who at least have the manpower to do something. it most likely isn't the FDA calling.

maybe the company you bought from is in tennessee. that's another scenario.

It happened to me too. I answered and it was the DEA, I purchased some "stuff" after the ban and they were calling me on it. They started to interogate me on the phone and I told them to get a search warrant and hung up on them.

I highly doubt the DEA would call anyone for buying DS, or PH's...Unless you bought thousands of bottles or something, lol.

They have to declare who they are and what agency they represent right off the bat. Modus operandi like that cannot be broken.

dunno. some of them are now considered as possession of a class III controlled substance (since its a steroid too). not saying they are calling, but i wouldn't rule out they're not.

been all over the internet lately. its a scam they say they're DEA and unless you pay a fine they'll arrest you. you wire money to some account, offshore of course, and there you go. google it.

This is either heavy sarcasm or bs.

it can be a scam, but I wouldn't rule it out either...but none the less, still crazy on how its been happening to people who made purchases right before the 1.4.10 date...and calling right around now...

ie:
OMG, that is so bizarre. I got the same phone call from LT. William Rice from the DEA in Baltimore, Maryland. He also gave me his badge number of 19760. He said they confinscated phentermine from overseas and that I would have to pay $ 950.00 to make it go away or they would pick me up and take me down to Miami, Fl. and then sent to Dominion Republic where I would be charged. I contacted the DEA in Austin (my hometown) who in turn called the actual DEA in Maryland. The "real" DEA called me back and was able to tell me this guys phone number and where he wanted the money sent to. He said they have been trying to catch this guy. Don't send him anything. Call the DEA in Maryland and report this...410-244-3574...Joe Rosati is his name.

There's also a thread on bb.com about this, where people got calls from numbers that apparently do match up to verified govt numbers, although they could be spoofed. Remember that bb.com was raided for these products - there's speculation that they could have records of people who bought the stuff they ended up seizing.

I beleive that someone on a ph forum...said that a fda agent called them and the agent asked or only wanted to find out if bb.com sent a recall notice about tren products they bought from bb.com...so apparently the fda only called only to follow up to see if bb.com sent the recall notice that they wanted them to send out...

yes, somehow the lists of purchasers got out...call it hackers, call it underhanded, whatever it may be...but anybody who ever made an online med purchase, legal or not, is on a list somewhere. and these scammers get this list call the people and profit from those foolish enough to send $900 to Haiti to avoid "jail."
