Compare toxicity

I was just wondering what would a cycle of methylated m-drol, just say 20/30/30,compare to when it comes to liver toxicity.Would it be like drinking a few 2-3 shots of 80 proof liquor a day. What is your thoughts,THANKS.

Disregard the liquor and run a liver protectant while on M-drol. This PH is one of the harshest on the liver especially hasher then a a couple shots of liquor since your dosaging the steroid 2 times a day.

Never drink while on a cycle, especially if orals are involved.

I don't think you understood my question totally sir,I don't drink anywho (it would make Jesus cry),I was just wondering about what would methylated compounds like m-drol or p-plex for that matter compare to __ex. alcohol, aspirins, dyhydration,I don't know what.NEVER MIND i SEE WHERE YOU PUT HARSHER THAN A COUPLE OF SHOTS.How do you know this or have you seen any post with this question. It seems everyone really brings up toxicity alot and I was just wondering *how toxic or what would methyls be compared to*,I know about cycle support, milk thistle, lots of water, thanks again.

So what your basically asking is the comparability between an oral steroid and alcohol as far as toxicity goes, is that correct?

Well depending on the dosage off both. Let's say you drink 2 beers a day for a month. Then take two pills of m-drol a month. The m-drol will definitely be more taxing on the liver man. I hope this answers your question.

Thats because 2 beers a day isnt really taxing at all... You can compare it like so... Drinking a case or 2 of beer throughout the day, everyday.. That would be more comparable to the 2-3 m-drol capsules you take per day, as they are steadily released into the blood stream from the liver if I remember correctly...

my ASL/ALT were mildly elevated on epi and i know from past experience that even 6 beers wont do that. so the methyls are worse, and i think by a large margin

Id say the answer is "not sure". No real studies that i know of are out there. I can say that moderate, short term use of either are fully recoverable without taking several other factors into consideration.

2004 tester do the original Designer Supplements Superdrol. I tested at 30, 40 and 50mg a week. Blood draw was taken at 50mg for the third week.

I used NAC and ALA only. AST abd ALT values were unchanged a well within range.

Liver:
item......pre.......on
AST......23.........22
ALT......30.........31
GGT......24.........20

Liver support:
ALA:600mg, NAC:1800mg

YMMV.

Very nice ;)

Solid GGT too (more important liver biomarker than AST + ALT all day long)

It did a number on your lipid profile (HDL and HDL/Chol ratio) though like all orals. Dang orals! :)

That was 5 years ago. Cholesterol came back quickly.

I'd say that's a bit extreme unless you're already compromised. I don't think that comparison is necessarily true. I would think more like 3-5 a day with continued use causing that to go up.

Liver toxicity of alcohol compared to a di-methyl. compound? The 20 beer thing is total bs and very misinforming, I think someone was just playing with numbers. Have any of you guys done studies on this, or at least used educational processes to develop a conclusion. I'll help you out, research the effects of alcohol on liver (fatty liver), (use peer reviewed studies) research 17a methyl on liver (stress)(), continue research, compare results. There is no way, and no way that a dimeth group is more toxic than 20 beers a day. Prove me wrong, please. I'm in no way slamming anyone, I just want some legitimate discussion,

yes that is what we are trying to do, discuss relative toxicities. i dont think anybody said "20 beer was equivalent" as a firm number. he was merely saying it would take many beers to equal the toxicity. and no, since i dont work in a research facility i wont be doing any case controlled peer reviewed studies anytime soon....but we certainly can continue discussion despite that.

As I send in my post, I was guesstimating; kinda playing with numbers...
