I've been using True Protein's Recession Whey WPC/WPI Blend for a while now since I'm trying to save some money, but was recently able to get some PeptoPro (Hydrolyzed Caseinate) for free.
My Pre-workout shake typically is
22g WPC/WPI
40g Quick Oats
5g Creatine (if its a loading day 3 on 4 off)
Post-Workout Shake typically is
50g WPC/WPI
50-100g carbs (dextrose/maltodextrin and sometimes some low fat cookies & cream ice cream if I'm at home)
5g Creatine (if loading day)
I've done hydrolyzed whey (from All the Whey) in the past and typically would just substitute 10g of the hydrowhey for 10g of the WPC/WPI (40g WPC/WPI, 10g hydrolyzed whey) in the post workout shake. Should I do the same thing with the PeptoPro? I want to make the PeptoPro last a long time since its super expensive, but still want to gain a benefit from it. I have also heard that taking 10g of Peptopro is like taking 30g of WPC/WPI, so maybe I should alter my shake a bit. Maybe I should go 5g PeptoPro/40g WPC/WPI or maybe 10g PeptoPro/30g WPC/WPI?
Anyone have any thoughts? I tried 5g of Peptopro with 15g dextrose and it was really tasty.
