The FDfrickin'A found contaminants in Genzyme drugs and they let them stay in the market.

If this was a supplement they would have pulled everything from the market and hung the owner of the manufacturer.

Can you say "double standard"?

I do not know nor have I ever spoken to Patrick Arnold or the people from iForce but am sure that if they found things like this in their supps the FDA and DEA would have stormed both of their locations and arrested them in seconds and damanded their products be pulled off the market.

This is "BULL SHOT" flat out no discussion.

peace to you all and don't fall for Friday The 13Th Crap. ( Chi chi chi Ah Ah Ah) You old schoolers will get that last part! The original always rocks!

Peace!
A pissed off Rike !!!

Despite those problems, the FDA said the products would remain on the market, because there are few alternative treatments.

So a little different than somebody not being able to take a totally untested steroid just to get jacked up for his summer trip to the beach

and

In June, Genzyme was forced to shut down a key production facility due to viral contamination.

shows that its not like they are doing nothing about it, and the pharma company is large enough and has enough $ that they can pay out on lawsuits if something does happen.

in todays world a company being large enough and having enough money just means that if something big does happen the government will bail them out.

yeah, but do you like the idea of companies selling untested synthetic drugs when the companies are so small that they couldn't survive a single lawsuit over kidney or liver failure?

no, but the way the system is now-we lose either way. it seems everything is at the expense of the consumer, i would like to see the people responsible for unethical decisions start doing real prison terms, not just company write offs or government bailouts [coverups].

And it's all thanks to greedy Americans and the thought a single pill can fix all ailments....

America is a great place to live, but the people here are idiots!

Really, can we compare the two on even terms?
Tainted otc steroid used for material gains vs a contaminated drug used for medical purposes?
