Expert on steroids

yeah the old MM3000 was 3000kcals a serving, but it took about a gallon of milk to mix it with a and a cup the size of a trashcan to choke it down...the glory days. back then you could buy weider brand andro from walmart!

For his time, Dan Duchaine was the best. When I look at my old copy of USH2 now though, you can see that a lot of the info is lacking. Takinf steroids is pretty easy, but if you want to maximize your results while limiting the damage done to your body then you need to take a very analytical approach and of course it helps to have guidance from someone who really knows.

Well put Seth! Your work is widely respected in the circuit. I am, i guess, a bit old school.

This is a philosophical question, the answer is -

"How does one become an expert at anything?"

1) Study - We have to be exposed to a wide ranging study materials on the topics and sub topics the compounds in question (their predecessors and derivatives) and their relation to humans (and animals/plants) of equally varying demographics

2) Observe - We must actively observe test subjects with and monitor cause and effect as well as potential secondary factors with like scrutiny while also monitoring a control (a group not on roids that knows they aren't on roids) AND placebo (a group that's not on roids but thinks they are on roids)

3) Anecdotal Analysis - monitor the health and long term effect of the aforementioned subjects until they die.

4) Proclivity- We must meet the prerequisite of a basic understanding of biological chemistry and be endowed with a basic natural aptitude to ask the right questions, and understand the answers when they become findable.

5) Trail by fire (practice)- it's almost inescapable that we must at some point become our own experiment/client/project/test dummy. We can read 1000s of car repair manuals but sooner or later we'll have to listen to car run, and based on what we've learned diagnose the problem. That knowledge is sufficient for a time, but before long we'll need to actually lose some bolts, or forget an oil plug trying to fix something...

When our practice is closer to 10/10 than it is to 5/10 we can argue our expertise.

Rep me...

That wasnt a dig seth, i was really curious about what he was talking about.

sorry was vague, that was written in haste (was rushing to the gym to catch Kai Greene do pt. 2 of a photoshoot but missed him this week :( this guy has some crazy legs). By that i was referring to my personal network, pro-bodybuilders, family, friends and other internet boards.

Absolutely! a lot of pros that ive met are shorter than him or below 6 feet. Speaking of freaky, i met Dilip S. Rana - the Great Khali (in my avatar) bro...i was speechless. this guy is not quality like the ifbb pros, but sheer size, hands, feet and even his jaw....freak of nature for sure, but a very nice and a humble person.
