increase muscle mass + cut fat at the same time

possible thru manipulation of diet?
i searched this and see that its heavily debated and i just wanted to get some opinions for AM on this.
 
it is possible..........you can do calorie cycling. low cal some days, and above maintenance every 4th day or so. this way you lose fat on the low cal days and put on muscle on the above maintenance days.


it takes a while though to put on muscle because you are only dedicating a few days a week to bulking. same with cutting. you will lose fat slowly.

bottom line its called recompositioning and it takes a while.
 
Unless you are chemically assisted, a beginner or a genetic freak, It's much better option to pick up a goal, to either bulk or cut, and then stick to it.
 
overall total you at 1 year from today, you will get best results from picking one or the other for spans of time and then flipping to the other than you will from trying to recomp for 12 months. this can be anywhere from 1 day at a time (alternate day fasting) to probably no longer than 8 weeks

just asking for some clarification. Easy, are you saying cycling bulks and cuts every two to three months is a better stratagy than cutting for 6 months and doing a clean bulk?
 
yeah. your body responds to most things you try and change within 3-4 weeks. so flipping back and forth from cut to bulk every 4-6 weeks means your negative feedback loops never really establish themselves, or you can actually take advantage of the start of the negative feedback to gain more mass when you flip from cut to bulk earlier.

You can add strenght and keep the muscle you have by staying as anabolic as you can on your cut (IMO Do this for no longer than 3-6 months). After that You can gain lean mass without gaining Fat by doing a clean bulk with little cardio.
Than again everyone's different. I am cutting right now and going to be doing a clean bulk with the assist of GlycerGROW, just heard too many good things about it!
