Honestly I was mid rep and I'm thinking (because he had already iturupted twice) just be cool no need to be a jerk and then PLUCK I looked at him all wide eyed and then he asked about the DBs and what was going on was not computing it took several moments
and exhasperated I looked tward the front desk and one of the managers (a buddy) is laughing his A** off and luckly he ran over but yeah later it was funny.

first thing on my mind would have been destruction, murder, and violence
 
couple real annoying things.

1. When ppl carry a whole suitcase around from station to station at the gym. Like seriously what Hi tech Roids or HGH do you got in there that ur scared somoene will break ur locker and get it?

2. When the roided up guy yesterday who claims hes all natural walks back to the squat racks. With his Dbag strut and bookbag full of roids, and then u can see hes pissed that every rack is taking up and slams his bag down and starts benching. Outta the 3 squat racks i was reppin 300, the guy next to me was DL 275 for reps, not great but he was like 40-50 years old. and the other squat rack some guy was doing front squats with like 10 pounds on each side lol
 
Nice, yeah love the lads who can't seem to grasp the fact it's referred to as a "Power Rack" for a reason.

The surge of jailbait that comes in around 330 or 4 without wearing nearly enough clothing !! Gdammit you should not flaunt that ass in booty shorts if you are not old enough for me to have a crack at it !!
Very cute girl works at the gym after school came over and started talkingto/flirtingwith me while I was doing lat pulldowns , knowing I couldnt help but check her out a little . I had to end the conversation and sit there for a min after she left , the chub would have been very obvious if I would have stood up immediately . Don't tease ME!!!:cussing:

One takes his shirt completely off,I give several looks of disaproval..... nothing. I take out my earphones and bark"Put youF***ing shirt on or get out" they comply. I apologized for scaring them then split.

lmao, these 3 girls probably 19-22 always came in around 11am last year at the powerhouse while me and my buddy were working out, the one always wore the thinnest skin tight tank top which did nothing to hide her nipples.

She had milk dud nipples 3 times a week all morning long no lie. What i dont get is she always looked in the mirror when doing an exercise that had one by it so she clearly knew what she was doing and showing.

lmfao, pretty funny, but if anyone ever told me to put my F'ing shirt on or get out, id ask to see your F'ing business license then tell you to chill out or F off when you couldnt comply.
 
Ummm, didn't you just say you trained at metroflex? You have problems with people taking off their shirts and flexing? Umm, you obviously haven't been around competitive bodybuilders when their getting ready for a show. Which leaves me wondering whether you trained around ronnie, branch and the boys....
 
I do when ther in my way flexing in a mirror at 165LB. And I was there back when Brian was sleeping in his van out front. Trying to keep everything going. He sacrificed a lot to keep that a special place.
 
fair enough....but even when your 165lbs you have to start somewhere.
 
Prolly been said but I hate that dude that walkes around naked in the locker room for about 15 minutes, shaves naked, wants to talk to you naked, etc. Man if your gay-great! I don't force my hetero on you! By the way, everyone knows what a set of grey, saggy wrinkled balls look like. WEAR A TOWEL!

Also, Mr. Cardio and ab dude. Leaves puddles of sweat, wherever he is, works his abs for 30 min. And has to park his beemer as close to the front door as possible! He sometimes asks when the club is putting in an elevator.
 
well, i lift at home but after reading some of these i feel a little better, I'm not an annoying lifter! haha

Wendler recommends that you do conditioning work and start every workout with jumping rope...
I see nothing wrong with cardio if you are powerlifter unless you wanna be a fat bastard powerlifter

People that think just because your a girl, and doing deads, you need a spot, or doing sumo squats, i want to scream at them, "I used to powerlift you butt head go away".........

Or people who jump on the treadmill next to you and say stupid things like, "wow your really running", or my fav "how long you been running for".....I dont even look at them, I keep running with my Ipod on or off they dont know, and I never break stride to answer stupids questions..............

i do cardio i prefer staying lean and being strong but im talking about the guys who come in and lift PL style and do cardio for 2x as long as they lift.
 
pisses me off big time when i'm trying to lift and some b*tches are vacuuming the carpet and sh*t. it's like, 'c'mon, i'm tryin' to lift 'ere!'

old school iron = dirty gym
live by it, die by it, get big by it...

yeah the building was actually built in the 1940's, and the carpet looks like it's that old too. it is old school, mostly free weights, mostly unattended, 24 hour gym. there is probably more old school types than mine, by my gym certainly has earned the name. smitty's gym representing! don't mess with my crew. :bigok:
